Charu Bay Villas

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Charu Bay Villas on Koh Phangan, and it was amazing. We began our stay in the Ocean Penthouse, and loved the ocean views. The penthouse is modern, spacious, and clean, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like luxurious. Waking up to the sunrise over the bay was a great experience. Midway through our stay, we moved to the Sunset Bay Villa, and it was equally stunning. Located right on the beachfront, the villa offered direct access to the calm, shallow waters and unbeatable sunset views each evening. We loved spending time on the terrace just steps from the sea. It was incredibly peaceful. Both villas were beautifully maintained, and the staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed, from recommendations to local travel tips. The location is perfect – quiet and serene, but still close enough to explore the island. We can’t recommend Charu Bay Villas highly enough. We had a wonderful stay here. The woman on site was really friendly and everytime we saw each other when we arrived with our scooter, we chatted for a bit. We had the Charu Bay Penthouse Villa, which has a direct access to the beach. You could just take on of the three stand up paddle boards, although only one was usable/inflated. The villa was amazing with a private pool table, an outside whirlpool and huge space. The road to the place can be quite muddy after rain. So you either need a transport or have to be brave enough to go by yourself with a scooter. But when you have a bit of experience with a scooter, it's actually not that bad. We didn't fall/get stuck once.

One of many overpriced properties on Koh Phangan 🌴 Good: clean, spacious, kind of private, beachfront, nice view. Bad: it's a part of the house so you will hear everything that is going on in the next room. The road to the house is a dirt road with holes, so it's kinda okay if you have a big pick up truck, but a bike or smaller cars are not for this place. Also be ready to pay an additional fee for electricity and water which they charge around 200-300 baht a day.

I stayed the for a week in the garden bungalow, fully equipped even with a kitchen. That place also has a stunning Villa most suitable for family and a romantic Seaview modern style Cottage. All in all it was topped by the attentive host and service staff to made my stay highly comfortable. You won’t regret to stay there during your exploration of the island.

Wonderful accommodation. We had direct access to the sea, in the afternoon when the sea recedes at low tide you have a small beach to yourself. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The host was very nice and helpful.

Stayed at the beach front villa. The house is incredible. I could have spent the entire vacation just sitting on the balcony watching the sea sunrise to sunset in the breeze. It is relatively expensive but you do get a unique setting. The kitchen is fully equipped and we cooked quite a few meals. Two things to note - there is a deposit that you need to provide on checkin. Also do plan on renting a vehicle as you'll need it for almost any excursion. One final note is that the staff was very helpful - laundry, booking trips, and any questions.

Fully recommended for both Thai people and foreigner. It is nice place to stay, million dollar view, hundred baht food. The owner is nice and take a good care of guests.

My family stayed at Charu Bay for four nights and we loved it ! We got a chance to stay at their two bedrooms villa and also the front beach main villa which might be a bit too big for 3 of us :). Both houses are well equipped. We did some cooking there as well even though the location is very good to get around to and get some local or international food. The house is cozy and clean. We loved having our first coffee at the beach front with the nice morning breeze. The staff is friendly and you could easily ask her if you need help with the transportation or recommendation. We would definitely go back to Charu Bay Villa and we already spread the word about this gem of Phagnan to all our beachbum friends.
