Our castle privilege suite was spacious, with a big bathroom (although a tiny shower) and quiet at night, the breakfast buffet was very good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the grounds are pretty. However, driving to and from the hotel is extremely difficult, and parking there is a nightmare. This was particularly unfortunate because it is a good half hour hike from the hotel into Tours, in parts steeply uphill on the way back. Our room had A/C controls, but we were informed that the system was "not available" (in late April and early May, despite temperatures outside in the 80s). All in all, not worth 315 euros/night.
