Château Belmont Tours by The Crest Collection

We just completed a wonderful 6-day stay at Château Belmont! We couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The staff was very thoughtful, so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and everything was of great quality. The breakfast and Christmas dinner/brunch were perfect! If you're wondering, breakfast includes delicious cold and hot dishes with enough variety. We've stayed in many 4- and 5-star hotels over the years, including luxury hotels, so we speak from experience when we say we were truly pleased with this hotel. If you're traveling as a family, book/request the room with two separate rooms. It was perfect with kids! We have no idea why the hotel only has 4.3-star reviews. It's really unfair. Just be aware that you need a car, but that's pretty standard in this region.

We stayed at Chateau Belmont on the last day of our holiday around France. It was the best hotel we stayed at by far! The staff was attentive and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the grounds were lovely for a little stroll. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Our dinner was very nice and the breakfast was a buffet with lots of variety of bread, cheese, fruit and coffees. The brioche bread was my favorite of the buffet. We spent a shorter time at the spa since the pool was a bit chilly and there was no hot tub. The bathrobes and slippers were great since we could not pack those items. At night we were able to leave our windows open a little for fresh air since it was very quiet on the hotel property. In the morning you could hear other guests or staff inside from our room but not too bothersome. I only wish we had one more night to stay and relax.

We absolutely loved our stay! We took the train from Paris and suggest getting a taxi or Uber to the hotel as you can walk from one of the trolley stops but it’s uphill. It’s nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, which was needed after spending time in London in Paris. The service at reception is 24 hours and always friendly and helpful. The restaurant was absolutely delicious and also amazing service. We didn’t go for the spa, but the amenities are accessible if you use the gym. It’s a small gym, but it works for what’s needed. Very doable walk into town with other activities and sites very close. We had a spacious room in the newer part of the hotel with an amazing view. Highly recommend.

The hotel is modern and set in lovely grounds, rooms are comfortable and the staff are excellent. The breakfast is adequate but fairly limited for the price. The spa has a sauna, steam room and small 8m long pool but for our stay the sauna was not available. Overall it was a pleasant stay but I don't feel it was worth the money.

Room was amazing, spacious and with balcony. Breakfast with a lot of options and really delicious. Evening menu was quite sophisticated too. Sauna didn't work. Reception never had robes for SPA zone, managed to find robes at cleaning service ( while reception said they don't have). It spoilt stay a bit - not to have robes Saturday evening and then Sunday afternoon in a hotel with SPA is a bit weird

Excellent reception by check in staff. Lovely room. Atmosphere in hotel was lovely.||Service at dinner was not great, having to wait and repeatedly ask for our drinks. Staff seemed less interested in our enjoyment. Pool was nice, but unfortunately had to leave after 10 mins without using other facilities because of regular clean/service on a Thurs morning.

Everything was terrible! From the check-in to the breakfast! I was treated in an extremely disrespectful and cold manner! Not sure if they are used to receive single woman (I saw/heard some couples being extremely well treated)! When I arrived it seemed the receptions guys were not sure if I was supposed to be there, they looked surprised as I was not supposed to be there! Just told me: check in is at 16h (another huuuuuge absurd). No information, no good morning, no smile, nothing at all (and I live in Paris so kind of used to it and still surprised me). Now we need to talk about this horrible new ways of working of hotels! Check in at 16h??? Now the second absurd: no hair conditioner (apres shampooing)! I’ve called to check: the answer? No, we don’t have it,bye! A 4 star hotel! Now they don’t provide hair conditioner anymore! I’m not even gonna start talking about the terrible hair drier…and the cheery on top of the cake was the breakfast: I was with my service dog (certified service dog) and the same old guy from the reception came to my table and said loudly: no dogs allowed at the restaurant (how you have a pet friendly hotel but you don’t allow dogs at the breakfast restaurant?!). I was embarrassed because eveeybody heard and I said: it’s a service dog.., and the guy simply turned his back and went back to his “good work” at the reception! The breakfast is also very bad (eggs were cold, the bacon was not fried at all…). The supposed heated pool was super cold… the only good thing that happened was the very nice waitress at the restaurant who gave a bowl of water to my dog… I’m not gonna even mentioned how far is it from everything because i knew when booked it but I thought it would be a good experience in a 4star spa hotel! Don’t come! Stay in the city center!

What a beautiful place! We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely hotel. If you have a dog there’s plenty green to walk around, our dog got a lovely toy gift and a bowl for water to use in the room. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, Yasin the waiter was so helpful! Beds are comfortable, pool is nice and kids are allowed before 6pm, Overall I would stay again.

Very nice hotel room, the largest we've had during our week long stay in France. The toilet and bathroom have separate rooms. The bathroom has a shower and also a bathtub. The bed is actually two twins close to each other. There is a microwave and induction stove cooktop as well as a refrigerator. Lots of space to stretch out and relax. I've had the best night sleep here! Friendly front desk staff to park the car right on front! Free parking too!

I'm sure this is a great hotel. Unfortunately, we tried to cancel 4 days in advance, giving the hotel plenty of time to re-sell the room but they refused to let us cancel. We asked if we could change nights, which they agreed at a cost of 345€ and refused to transfer the cost of the original room towards this cost. Intransigent management. I understand a 'no cancellation policy' but when you are given plenty of notice to re-sell. As a result the room was empty because we couldn't get there so they missed out on all the money they would've made from our food and drink spend as well.

What the...???? Worst food EVER. Dried up re-warmed chicken & a pile of potatoes. Junky Holiday Inn convention rooms with SHEER curtains. We were up all night as the lights from cars & the main lobby came right through. Sincerely a joke of an establishment.

Loved this hotel. Very dog friendly, excellent service, good and clean rooms and food was also very good. A 20 minute, quite picturesque walk into Tours. Will visit again if we are in the area.

Nice hotel in a quiet park like setting. I booked the junior suite has 250sf. Rooms tend to be smaller in France. The room had a couch, table for two, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and a 2 burner stove. A few plates and cups. Room was quiet but the bed was too soft. As we were leaving they were replacing the beds in all the rooms. Breakfast buffet was very nice. A continental breakfast with cereals, meat, cheese and potatoes.

We enjoyed the Château Belmont very much. The room was well-planned and comfortable, the food was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I left my wired Apple earbuds in my room when I left yesterday (room 133). If someone found them, please mail them to me in New York. Thanks and au revoir.

The hotel in itself was lovely and comfortable the restaurant excellent however the service in regard to anything for the rooms is all but nill. We asked for three different things at different times unless I went downstairs because nobody would answer the phone nothing was done and even then only when the third time of asking, this is only down to lack of staff. A four star is only like a three star answer for a service

It is the second time we have stayed at Chateau Belmont. The rooms are very good and comfortable, and the staff are always helpful. We look forward to staying there again and would strongly recommend the hotel.
