We always look to have a "special" last night at the end of our overseas tours. We researched Chateau De Bourron via a chateau accommodation website and we were not disappointed.|Your heart will leap as you turn the corner of the drive and the Chateau comes into view. Simply stunning!. We were welcomed by our host and given the run down on the Chateau and its environs. Our room was on the third floor and was exactly as per the photos seen on the website. Exposed beams, pink and white wall and ceiling coverings, a large comfortable bed and a pleasant room. We had an excellent walk around the grounds as we were free to explore. We had tried to book the local restaurant on booking the Chateau but unfortunately the restaurant in the stables was closed the night of our visit. However we had a marvelous meal at Bistro du Broc. in the village. The wine list at the Bistro must be seen to be believed!|We chose to have an excellent breakfast in the dining room and were well cared for.|The Chateau has a fascinating history and it was a privilege to spend an afternoon and night there. As with all old buildings, there is an air of tiered opulence but this only adds to the experience of what is an obviously well loved family home and hotel.

We stayed recently and all aspects were excellent. The service and friendliness of the owners made you feel at home and as a house guest rather than a hotel guest. The grounds were beautiful for taking walks and the breakfast very good. Our only comment having stayed over on a Sunday would be to specifically highlight the various restaurants which are open.

We were looking for a place to spend a night outside Paris after arriving from a long flight. My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair and it is often difficult to find suitable accommodation. We were so fortunate to discover Chateau de Bourbon because not only is the castle situated in stunning grounds and the owners are delightful and incredibly welcoming, they have renovated one of the rooms in the villa to be fully wheelchair accessible with roll-in shower, ramps, etc. It was such a delight to be able to enjoy this in this beautiful environment! We will definitely be returning for a longer stay!

We stayed at Château de Bourron for 5 nights during the 2024 Paris Olympics and travelled to and from the games in Paris from there. We enjoyed our stay so much (great location and atmosphere, beautiful building with stylish rooms, good breakfast, beautiful architecture and lovely grounds and garden) that we became Friends of the Château as members of Association des Amis du Château de Bourron. And this year we returned for one night on our way down to Italy. The hospitality by the family that runs the château is so personal and warm that you really feel at home at this great castle with all its historical charm and elegance. We will certainly be back again.

Outstanding experience. My wife and came to the area for one of our friends’ wedding and stayed at Chateau de Bourron this month. The place is beautiful and peaceful. We stayed in the D’Artagnan guest house. The room was fantastic, everything is designed to remind you that you’re in a 18th century castle (but of course with all the modern amenities). The owner graciously gave us a brief tour of the chateau’s main level. The breakfast was amazing. We spent several hours walking on the domain, which is beautifully maintained. We’d love to come back!

My husband and I stayed in a superior room at the castle. After a long day of travel from the United States, it was a PERFECT initial experience in France. The castle and grounds are stunning. The owner Guy was so kind. welcoming and accommodating even though we weren't able to arrive until late in the evening. Our room was gorgeous, clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast the morning after was literally a royal breakfast - a delicious spread of pastries, breads, jams, fresh fruits, juices, coffee and tea. Guy checked in periodically to see how our stay was going. He was lovely and has had an amazing life raising his family in the castle! After checking out we visited the town and saw Fontainebleau Palace, strolling through the beautiful gardens. It was a perfect visit. Our only regret was not staying longer! Highly recommend to anyone who is interested in exploring an important historical place in France but wants to take the experience to the next level!

Amazing chateau in Fountainbleu Forest. A very special place to stay as this is still a family home and we were warmly welcomed by the host, Guy. Huge lawns surround the chateau and there’s parking as well. Exquisitely decorated throughout.

Lovely castle near Fontainebleau, with a sizeable forest, and large confortable rooms. The hosts gave us a top welcome, we highly appreciated the friendliness and consideration. Excellent breakfast, optimal location to explore the region… or just enjoy your stay in the castle. I can’t thank enough the hosts and staff for their dedication.
