We had a fantastic degustation and cellar tour with Helène, who was kind enough to offer the experience in English. She was passionate and knowledgeable about the wines in the region, and took the time to answer all our questions and share plenty of interesting information. The wines were delicious and we had a hard time deciding what to buy! We would love to return and stay at the beautiful château next time, and also to try more of the extensive wine selection.

Lovely place. We arrived by bike without an appointment, but they offered either to give us a mini-tasting on the spot or fit us in shortly afterwards for a full tasting. We chose the latter option and got a lovely tasting of five wines with full explanation in flawless English. Bought some wines too!

We visited the Château at the most beautiful fall season, and a very quiet time due to COVID. We didn’t stay at their guest house but TOTALLY enjoyed the tasting experience. The girl did the tasting with us was very experienced and knowledgeable with local wines from Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet. It was a fun and delicious experience! They make shipping to the US very easy (even for us Hawaii residents). Now we are in their database, will be easy to re-order online with them!! Love it!

Lovely place to stay. So quiet and relaxing. The staff were wonderful. Worth doing the wine tour and tasting. |Everyone went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable from the initial email giving us suggestions of local restaurants - which they happily booked for us, to helping us set up our picnic lunch on the terrace. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay

My wife and I drove around Burgundy for one wonderful week this May, and went from Winery and Chateau one after the next. This region just below Beaune is fabulous. A lot of senerity in this region. We came to this Chateau by design, as it was one of the top Chateaus on our list (along with a fabulous restaurant in town called Ed's and Em's that is terrific). You never know what you will get at these private Chateaus, especially with no appointment or booking. Some Chateaus will accommodate no matter what. The owner of this Chateau. Alain, was in that latter category. He came out and took us, unannounced, to a wine tasting area where we sampled a few of the wonderful wines produced there. He fully explained the history of how he came to live there and the different lots in the area, illustrated with unique maps. I recommend it as a stopping point in one of the best wine producing regions in the world. Alain is a gentleman. Gary & Ada

My wife and I were driving back through Burgundy from a vacation in Provence and decided to visit Chateau Chassagne-Montrachet to sample and buy some of the fabulous Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines. We arrived unannounced and were met by Alain, the owner, and his daughter Natalie. They were so friendly and welcoming. Alain took us out into the vineyard and we tasted some of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes straight off the vines- marvellous. We then returned to the shop and tasting area where we tried different vintages of both wines recommended by Alain. We settled for a 2009 Chardonnay and a 2014 Pinot Noir - both excellent. It was a fabulous experience and made all the more enjoyable by the friendliness and charm of Alain and Natalie - thank you. Richard and Mandie, London

Loved our stay Almost everything was perfect. Ester was excellent. Very accommodating after our long drive and being tired. Room great. Wine tasting excellent. Perfect breakfast. Location amazing surrounded by vines. Had the place to ourself which was amazing. If there was a small negative, it was machinery on site waking us up in the morning.

What an absolutely amazing weekend at the Chateau!!! We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was tremendous. The Chateau is beautiful and in the perfect position for exploring the Burgundy region. We stayed in Camille, one of the 5 bedrooms. Stunning views over the vineyards and extremely comfortable. As mentioned previously the staff leave the winery at about 6pm and you have the Chateau to yourself. Special mention to Marlène, Esther and Marc who were all superb and nothing was too much trouble. There were incredibly helpful with advice about the area and restaurant recommendations and bookings which were all perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies who prepared and served it were delightful. Cant wait to visit again!!!

Ok, loved the ambience and the fact that we're in FRANCE. ..yayyyyyyyyy. we were treated to , hmmm, let's see... probably around 10different tastings in the atrium. . wow! truly amazing wine and a very knowledgeable sommelier . lots of fun and they do ship cases to the USA. ..going back for sure!
