My wife and I just loved this place! It has so much character and history plus the gorgeous landscape. The fall colors were everywhere to enjoy and the view of the valley was amazing. The staff was so wonderful as well as the spectacular breakfasts we were served. Everything we needed was provided. A short scenic drive to the city for markets, historical sites and restaurants was perfect. Would definitely return again if possible.

I don’t think I have the words to describe how beautiful this chateau is! It felt like we were staying in a fairytale castle. The setting is just breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast each morning and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. My family and I would love to come back and stay here again. Definitely worth a stay if visiting France.

My husband and I stayed here in June 2025 for three nights, and it was the best place that we stayed during our trip to France! This historic property is a gem, situated in the hills above Amboise, on the other side of the river. We stayed in a troglodyte suite during a heat wave, and despite there being no airconditioning, felt perfectly cool and comfortable, because it is a former cave dug out of the rock. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and large. The grotto pool is a dream, and we used it every day. We enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful garden outside our room, which included lounge chairs and a small table and chairs outside our room for eating. The staff helped us make dinner reservations for all our nights there. The drive to Amboise is easy, about 10 minutes. I want to return to the Loire Valley just so I can stay at this beautiful and elegant property again.

Set in a 16th-century manor, this property is wonderful. We stayed in the Lucas Cottage, which offered plenty of space for our family. The entire space was clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our cottage had dining room, kitchen and living area as well. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a pool, lovely gardens and stunning views of the Loire Valley. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The entire staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Parking is available on the property, which was very convenient.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at this historic property. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helped book dinner reservations in nearby Amboise. I slept better than I do at home, owing to the peace and quiet of the location. Breakfast was good and delivered with a smile. Fresh breads and croissants even though it was a French holiday weekend. The pool and the scenic property were special additions. We want to come back.

Lovely place to stay. We were on the top floor and had a great view of the valley (note: there is no elevator and it is a steep set of stairs). Breakfast was extra, but it was really good...and worth the extra cost (plus you are out of town, so nothing near by). The host and staff were very friendly and helping. There is parking on site. We walked a road up the hill behind the chateau and it took us to a wide open area of all vineyards...pretty walk!

We had a nice stay in this beautiful chateau. Quiet and serene and about a 5 minute drive to Amboise. Access is a bit steep and narrow. There is parking once you get through the arch way. Veronique is a wonderful host and will tell you about the area and help you make arrangements. WiFi was non- existent in our room, the troglodytic cave. There is a main room you can go to for WiFi. Lovely surroundings and a pool on site.
