Set in a 16th-century manor, this property is wonderful. We stayed in the Lucas Cottage, which offered plenty of space for our family. The entire space was clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our cottage had dining room, kitchen and living area as well. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a pool, lovely gardens and stunning views of the Loire Valley. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The entire staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Parking is available on the property, which was very convenient.

Lovely place to stay. We were on the top floor and had a great view of the valley (note: there is no elevator and it is a steep set of stairs). Breakfast was extra, but it was really good...and worth the extra cost (plus you are out of town, so nothing near by). The host and staff were very friendly and helping. There is parking on site. We walked a road up the hill behind the chateau and it took us to a wide open area of all vineyards...pretty walk!

Amazing experience at Chateau Nazelles! We stayed in the Terra Alta room and it was such a cool and unique stay. The Nordic bath was amazing to come back to after exploring during the day. The breakfasts were outstanding with all local and organic ingredients. Veronique was so sweet and offered help with anything we needed. The grounds are stunning and you truly feel like you’re in a fairytale. Only 5 minutes from Amboise and a great middle ground for exploring Loire. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Chateau Nazelles. Veronique is a lovely host, and the chateau is so characterful, artistically blending comfort and history. Amboise is easily accessible and there are walks from the doorstep. We would love to return.

What a gem of a place to stay! In the heart of the eastern end of the Loire Valley, just an hour from Chinon in a quiet, serene area, Veronique and her staff have created a warm and welcoming, peaceful environment to relax and enjoy the bountiful wineries and castles on the area. We used the hot tub one evening and were able to unwind after a long day journey to this B&B. We chose this place because I love Cabernet Franc and it’s so close to many great wineries. Communication was superb, food was excellent and the grounds impeccably maintained. Veronique has created a wonderful escape to explore the surrounding area. Highly recommend staying here!!

Château De Nazelles was the most beautiful bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The room was a small apartment the grounds were green and lush with amazing views. Service is the best. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend. Lastly not expensive.

Our stay here was a dream. We stayed here as a couple in mid-May and had the most wonderful time. Our room, Olivia, was quiet and cool and comfortable, a perfect blend of old charm and modern comfort. The grounds of the chateau were absolutely magical; around every corner there were flowers and old stone and beautiful views. The breakfast each day was a delight. Bread, pastries, and jams are brought to each table and then you get to order whatever else you'd like to eat (we always had soft boiled eggs and yogurt with the chateau's own honey each day) and drink. After a day out biking and canoeing in the area, one evening we wanted to have a peaceful evening at the chateau for dinner, and Veronique put together the most amazing spread of cheese, charcuterie, bread, etc for us to enjoy in the garden. They even spread a tablecloth out on the outdoor table for us, and delivered our picnic tray to us outside. It was a perfect way to end a day. The only thing to note is that the chateau is outside Amboise, and taxis are hard to get. While we had our car with us, we didn't want to drive in and out whenever we wanted to go to town, so we asked Veronique to arrange bicycle rental for us ahead of time, which she did. They were ready for us on arrival, and were picked up after we left. The convenience of this was wonderful, and made the distance to Amboise not a problem at all. The bike ride to and from was short and pleasant, and not on busy roads at all. My one and only disappointment was that the pool wasn't open while we were there. I suppose we will just have to come back in the summer so we can enjoy it. :) I loved our stay so much and wish we could have stayed longer. Truly one of my favorite places we have ever stayed, and can only highly recommend.

Oh wow. Where do I begin. It was our first time in the area and we are in love. Veronique was a delight and so sweet and helpful. The space was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was incredible with fresh bread, jams and honey from on the property and the kindest staff. We are blown away and can't wait to plan our next stay. The only thing is transportation is limited. I suggest renting a bike or car. You can utilize Uber like we did just might experience some wait times. Definitely recommend hot air balloon ride and of course wine tastings which are all close by!
