Château de Noizay (Noizay, Centre-Val de Loire) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The 16th century Château de Noizay sits amongst a storied 24-hectare estate filled with manicured French gardens, woodland and vineyards. The 17 classically dressed rooms nod to the castle’s rich history with a mix of Toile de Jouy wallpapers, four poster beds, plush fabrics and antique furnishings, and are spread across two buildings, the Chateau and the Clock Pavilion, where ground floor rooms come with access to a small private garden. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves seasonal, local cuisine, and other facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, and the option of booking in-room massage treatments." - Tablet Hotels

We loved our stay at The Chateau de Noizay! The pool and gardens are amazing and we spent some nice time reading in the garden at the end of the day. We stayed in the Castelnau Room which was perfect. Castelnau is a huge room with a comfortable bed, plenty of seating and a nice desk, walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, a large sink with plenty of space for all our toiletries, a nice shower, plenty of natural light and a separate toilet. The château has a mix of period pieces and gorgeous fabrics and has been decorated to feel like one is staying in a château. The heating and air-conditioning were effective and worked well. Because the temperature difference during our stay went from 84 degrees to 58, we tested both! |We appreciated the warm and friendly staff, and ate at the restaurant twice, which was excellent and an amazing value for money. The menu for guests is 44 euros which we found to be the ‘average’ cost of eating at most restaurants in the area. It is a gorgeous dining room serving delicious food…so convenient after a long day of visiting wineries and châteaux! ||Note, the location is IDEAL to visit the châteaux and wineries on the east side of Tours and is off the main road that can take you either east or west. You are 15 minutes from Amboise, 8 minutes from Vouvray and about 30 minutes from Tours. GREAT LOCATION!

Very nice experience to sleep in a castle. 5 star service and amenities. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was pretty convenient so didn’t have to drive after wine tasting tours we did close to the castle. The ladies at the reception were super nice and welcoming!

Staying at this location was an experience of a lifetime. We felt like we were transported to a scene of a 17th century French royal estate. The building and grounds were spectacular. Our room and bathroom were spacious and up to date. The staff was superb and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this location to anyone interested in experiencing a trip to the splendor of the past.

Chateau Noizay is an absolute dream! Every aspect of the stay made us wish we could stay longer. This old-world chateau beautifully retains its original charm while offering truly excellent accommodations. The main level boasts a delightful restaurant, several stunning semi-private sitting rooms, and convenient facilities. The attentive staff anticipated every need, providing impeccable service. We were served drinks on the lower level, then took a stroll through the serene grounds and the charming adjoining village. We watched a myriad of birds flit amongst the mature trees and manicured gardens before a refreshing dip in the pool. Dinner at the chateau's restaurant, without a doubt, one of the best upscale French meals we’ve ever experienced! The buffet breakfast was equally impressive, featuring locally sourced fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. This entire experience has us planning a return for a longer stay as the perfect escape when a break from it all is needed. This, for sure, is the place to find it.

Noizay Castle is beautifully situated in the middle of a lovely park and driveway, just as you would have always imagined. The rooms have been preserved in their historic style and have been carefully renovated, an ambience that is perfect for visiting the nearby castles of the Loire. Breakfast and the menu in the restaurant are highly recommended and traveling with a dog was absolutely comfortable

Beautiful building and well appointed . Friendly helpful staff who spoke English. Spacious private parking. Wonderful swimming pool. The restaurant served absolutely delicious food. It is not a place for those who cannot ascend stairs, but for us it was perfect and we will come back one day.

Set in the heart of the Loire Valley—often called the “garden of France”—Château de Noizay is a beautifully preserved property that blends historical charm with modern comfort. Overlooking the village of Noizay and surrounded by wooded hills, it offers a tranquil, scenic escape. The grounds are immaculate, with a lovely pool perfect for a warm summer afternoon, a tennis court, and quiet corners to relax. While not officially adults-only, the atmosphere is peaceful and refined. The staff is attentive and welcoming. The restaurant is excellent, offering refined cuisine in an elegant setting. A wonderful base for exploring nearby châteaux and vineyards.
