"This absurdly picturesque château, surrrounded by vineyards on the outskirts of Reims, dates back in its original state to the middle of the 19th century, but in its present form it’s been thoroughly transformed — the Château de Sacy is a fantasy more romantic than the real thing, a luxe and lavish 12-room hotel that incorporates a multitude of historical styles, and a bit of modernity as well. The spa includes barrel-style hot tubs with views of the vineyards and the countryside, and the restaurant and bar are supplemented by a cellar with an encyclopedic collection of Champagnes." - Tablet Hotels

We loved our stay at the Chateau. The room was clean, spacious, & full of character. It was stocked with complimentary food/drinks, fresh linens, robes & slippers that made it comfortable. We visited the spa & utilized the wellness area, which was so so lovely! I recommend booking with the wellness area as the outdoor nordic bath was such a vibe. We opted for the breakfast included which was convenient as there is nothing else nearby the chateau (would need to be accessed by car). We did one lunch & one dinner on site. It was the same small menu to choose from for each meal, but the food was really good! Small plates but a 4+ course meal that was unique & delicious. The staff were so incredibly kind & accommodating, we felt very welcomed! I cannot emphasize enough how kind the staff were. I would definitely recommend a stay to my friends & family! I think our two full days & nights were perfect for a relaxing getaway.

It’s amazing very charming hotel that lacks a touch of service. We stayed in the best room of hotel. Spacious, comfortable and beautiful with absolutely unbelievable view. But: 1. Room service took our face towels and didn’t put the new. 2. In the restaurant we took bottle of champagne and bottle of wine and then they forgot about us. They brought the food but nobody served the wine. My husband had to go and take our bottles three times. When I ask the staff about , the waiter said it’s sommelier opportunity but he disappeared. So paying almost 500 € we had to organise the service by ourselves. 3. The food was good but not excellent. 4. I had very good experience in the massage cabin. 5. Honestly we should learn French or staff should learn English because the don’t speak English and sometimes was difficult for us to explain.

Our stay at Château de Sacy was truly unforgettable. The château is set in a stunning location, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful views. It’s truly like paradise. What really made the experience special was the team. Joris, Baptiste, Lisa (and her lovely daughter), and Adrien were simply the kindest people we could have hoped to meet. They went above and beyond to make everything smooth and enjoyable, helping us organize a wonderful wine tour, dinner reservations, and even transportation. Always attentive, always with a smile — genuinely good people who made us feel at home in such an elegant setting. If you’re looking for a place that combines beauty, comfort, and exceptional hospitality, Château de Sacy is it. Highly recommended!

This was a breath taking dinner experience. The staff were absolutely amazing. We had a nut allergy and were so on the ball with each dish and letting us know what was okay and had alternatives ready for us. The views were to die for!!! Sun set was amazing 100% recommend it to everyone!

This was a beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting that exceeded our expectations! The room had historic charm with all the modern amenities and conveniences (outlets at each bedside and in the bathroom, light switches at each side of the bed, good lighting, a beautiful view and windows that opened, and plenty of closet space and mirrors). PERFECT!

Google
What a great find, we stayed here for 2 nights as a base to explore Champagne! From our welcome to the rooms, we weren’t disappointed. The chateau has been tastefully restored, the rooms are large offering great views over the vineyards. The restaurant and bar offers a large selection of champagne many from the area of Sacy. Dinner was a tasting menu, with all items tasting delicious. Service could be a little more attentive. Breakfast offers a buffet, with small menu of hot items. All staff were pleasant, we definitely recommend!

So glad we experienced this beautiful restaurant location sitting outside on the large terrace with extensive vineyard views. Our set lunch menu meals of the day were 39 euros and well worth it. The service was excellent and a nice champagne list, (but of course). Loved it

We were looking for a unique place to finish our holiday in France and Château de Sacy did not disappoint. The location is stunning and the aspect from outside is wonderful in all directions, not least with the lights of Reims in the distance. The building itself is beautiful and the welcome from the staff is befitting of the location and building. The weather allowed us to eat outside, so we were pretty much right in the vineyard, only a few feet away from the vines. The views are wonderful across the vineyards wherever you look. The two musicians added to the relaxed and refined atmosphere, so we were able to enjoy our meal and not feel rushed. We had the tasting menu and the food was brilliant. The presentation was excellent and very inventive and creative - a fantastic experience. The service was very good and helpful when we needed it. The perfect way to end our holiday.

Yelp
What a beautiful place to stay and dine. The team that works here were all welcoming and kind. The room was magnificent. The views stunning. The dining experience was unique and delightful. We felt honored to be guests here and most definitely plan on coming back when we pass through. The chateau is located not to far from the downtown Reims area for references I would suggest locating the place prior to dark, and to use gps. They have a spa on premise, hot tubs outside, a bar and restaurant as well. The food was artwork with unique flavors and experience. If you get a chance to either stay or dine here, I hope you have the same great experience! Enjoy!

Yelp
The food is extremely expensive and the portions are smaller than you can imagine. The food also tastes horrible. The restaurant is such a hassle to get to and is not worth it whatsoever. The staff is incredibly rude and made the already subpar experience that much worse. Save your money and your tastebuds. Go literally anywhere else.

Yelp
After a long flight it was so refreshing to arrive. The rooms are beautiful, so much attention to detail. We stayed in the Madame Pompadour room, truly breathtaking! The view is also spectacular. No stone left unturned here! Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
First of all this hotel was brilliant about carrying over our booking due to Covid with the room rate/breakfast remaining at the price pre Covid. The hotel is beautiful and well designed. The staff at front desk were helpful and pleasant and showed us around. Lovely room great shower and comfortable bed it would benefit from having a chair to sit on, other than just stools and the bed. Always good to have tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. BUT this hotel is rather more show than substance. After reading previous reviews I agree that the restaurant staff let this hotel down badly. The restaurant and drinks are very over priced for this establishment as it does not meet a 5* rating. (There is one member of the staff who is excellent and sadly I can't recall her name other than she has short dark hair and wears glasses and her English is very good and she has a sense of humour). On arrival we ordered a drink and hoped for some food as it states in the hotel booklet that sharing plates are available all day. This is not so as the the young woman who took our order said there was no chef but she did produce some cheese and bread, which we appreciated. The first night we arrived early for our table by 10 mins (7.30pm booking), and were ushered straight to our table, no offer of a pre drink before seating. Drinks arrived and so did dinner, which was very nice but not exceptional. Unfortunately our three courses arrived very quickly and we had finished eating by 8.35pm. All far too quick. The restaurant was busy but if the organisation of staggering seating times was better and the offering of pre dinner drinks when a menu could be offered and the order taken (as in most good quality restaurants), this would have helped. The second night went better as we insisted on a pre dinner drink and the food came more slowly at a better pace. Unfortunately again there was a disappointment, the 39 euro menu had no change on the 'Chefs recommendation' or the fish which would be normal especially as people stay for more than one night. The staff really need training both for dinner and breakfast. For both dinner and breakfast we were constantly asking for things such as salt and pepper, more drinks etc and for breakfast you had to ask for cooked eggs they were not offered nor was a menu displayed offering these. We asked for honey at breakfast which came in a jar, rather sugared no presentation, but we did get the honey. One last thing on the restaurant. Usually dishes are cleared from the table when you have finished with them before the next course this was not really the case here, minor but it all adds up. I do not expect everywhere to speak English but if it is offered even for only the pleasantries, it needs to be correct, to be asked 'what do you want?' when ordering is actually rather rude although I am sure it was not meant just needs adjusting and training. Would we return probably because the room was lovely and a spectacular location, but for goodness sake get your act together with the restaurant (unless that improves I wouldn't eat there for dinner),and don't offer services that don't exist. One more thing two male guests at lunchtime on Wednesday 20th July who were sitting outside drinking both went into the vineyard to relieve themselves instead of using the hotel toilet. Another guest did shout at them but they thought it funny. Uncouth comes to mind. Not a good advert for this hotel!

Yelp
The hotel's room and food were amazing. The service from the hotel reception team was superb. But some of the restaurant team let the whole experience down. It started well. A wonderful, friendly greeting. Started with an aperitif and they took our order. And it went down from there. The person who was acting as the told me that he would help me with my choice of wine. After I saw them destroy a cork when removed at a neighbouring table and then explain it was perfectly normal' to dig out bits of broken wine cork from a bottle I decided I was old enough to choose my wine. I ordered our bottle of wine and the waitress (who seemed to be acting as the manager???), repeated back to us that we wanted two glasses of wine, then corrected themselves. The food arrived. No wine, I chased it with a hard pressed member of the team. No wine. When they turned up and offered us a glass of wine from an obviously, previously opened bottle of wine, I cancelled the order. Then the original waitress turned up and when I tried to explain why I was not impressed by their poor service, they stormed of. Then ignored us. I eventually gained the attention of one of the two staff who really appreciated how to provide good service and ordered our desert, after 30 minutes. Then when told by the original waitress what she would give me as compensation. I refused and wanted to explain that it wasn't personal but I would like to quietly explain our experience they talked to me like a five year old and I should eat my desert like a good boy. Some members of this team are letting this wonderful establishment down. There are some of the team that are purely waiting staff that really know what they are doing and they should be training those who think that running a high class restaurant is posing like they are special but have no idea how to treat their customers fairly. The final insult is when I left a message with reception for the manager of the hotel to call me. Nothing heard. This will never be a five star establishment until it gets the basics right and sets standards across the teams appropriately.

Yelp
A castle standing strong and straight in the middle of a hill of vines is quite the perfect occasion to stop for a lunch or a well-deserved rest. The newly renovated and opened (July 2017) Château de Sacy is quite the spectacular sight from the village road down below. With 12 rooms and two suites, it's quite a stately addition to the hospitality option in the Champagne region. The renovation might as well be called a reconstruction as the remains of the Castle were closer to ruins than an actual habitation. It took a whole year, and of course substantial investments to bring the Castle to its prevalent stance. But now, it's a restful and elegant experience that is offered. The restaurant logically called "Les vignes" seems at first sight inspired by the very first owners, who were fabric merchants. The décor is filled with luxurious drapes and contrasting noble fabrics along with bright and modern colors. It's truly a welcoming sight. It has everything it needs to be a great success. It does feel like a new establishment as some novice errors in service, pairings and cooking came to stumble what would've been a perfectly lovely lunch. Overcooked fish, overly pickled entrées impossible to pair with any wine along with wrong Champagne temperature and other omissions were surprising mistakes made. It's quite a shame and I do hope improvement is on the way on that aspect. The potential is gigantic and so close to become an astonishing establishment.

Yelp
Wow such a beautiful place...the hotel is wonderful and beautiful. The dining rooms are romantic and peaceful. I come to champagne 4 times a year for tastings and finding new champagne producers to add. I come for special events like birthdays and having new friends...but last night...oh last night. I had my son make reservation for 19:30 and I'm a stickler for being on time and on time I was...went upstairs to begin my wonderful meal..waiting d 15 minutes for someone to come into the empty room to take my order...waited 30 minutes for my first course to come...finished the first course about 15 minutes..and waited and waited for someone to come to get the plates...another 30 minutes..someone came for the plates and no one came back for another 35 minutes... All total..more than 2 hours and still no main course and it was not crowded..in fact I've never seen it crowded..so it was my 5th time going there and my last. Bill

Yelp
A beautifully renovated property in a spectacular setting amongst the vineyards. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Was disappointed to find that hotel guests must reserve tables in the dining room ahead of time and the room service menu is very limited. Reims is only 6km away but expected to be able to eat at the hotel when I made the booking.
