Chateau de Vignee

We were wow’d by the Chateau building courtyard entrance and equally wow’d by the friendly reception staff. The welcome drinks were a nice touch- the lounge is a nice place to relax and converse with a cocktail or bubbles.||Room 5 was cosy and had all we needed for a restful night- a comfortable bed with nice sheets, some tea and water, and a rotating TV to watch a movie.||We had dinner at the hotel bistro, where we chose 2 courses from the ‘a la carte’ menu for a light meal. I had the sole as a main, and praline dessert, my husband the meat, and dame Blanche- it was all cooked nicely and delicious, especially the desserts! ||We had breakfast at the bistro and were impressed by the quality of the food- the French toast paired well with champagne! ||We didn’t get to do the long hikes recommended by the reception, but we did admire the pretty scenery of the Lesse from the garden of the hotel.||We stayed two days and found all staff were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Château de Vignettes. Just a short drive from the capital, it’s the ideal escape for a relaxing weekend. The setting is stunning, peaceful, and full of charm. The wellness facilities are top-notch — a real hidden gem! The restaurant was amazing, with refined dishes and an excellent wine pairing that elevated the entire experience. Do plan any spa or treatment sessions in advance, as they fill up quickly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in elegance and tranquility.

We don't get to dine at Michelin star restaurants often but this was a fantastic experience. Stylish rooms with a patio overlooking garden and creek, wonderful sauna a pool. The fixed menu was fantastic with lots of little extra and creative dishes. We enjoyed the non-alcoholic beverage pairing as much as the wines!

My partner and I would like to sincerely thank you for the wonderful stay with you. It was incredibly thoughtful of you to decorate the bed so beautifully and to surprise us with a little sparkler show at dessert in celebration of our 5th anniversary – thank you so much for that! The room was simply phenomenal, the massage wonderfully relaxing, and the breakfast absolutely delicious. All in all, a perfect stay!

Amazing staff, the attention to detail is excellent. Beautiful rooms and spa and surroundings. 45 euros for breakfast felt like a lot for what the breakfast is. You can hear the highway a little bit when you are sitting outside but that’s not something the hotel can do anything about. For anything they can help you with, they really do their best. Truly excellent service.

Château de Vignée is a stunning retreat located away from busy roads. The beautiful grounds, filled with flowers and wildlife, create a peaceful setting. The rooms are both elegant and cozy. The dining experience is fantastic, although the food may take a little while to arrive. The restaurant’s atmosphere enhances every meal. Additionally, guests can enjoy the spa, bar, and swimming pool for ultimate relaxation. The staff are exceptionally friendly, particularly the gentleman at the entrance, who makes you feel right at home. Overall, this hidden treasure offers comfort and tranquility. I can’t wait to return for a leisurely getaway.

I found breakfast disappointing in terms of diversity and staff lacks attention to detail (bringing the wrong order, and later forgetting separate order). If you are looking for an exceptional breakfast experience I would rather recommend the Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp and the Reylof Pillows Hotel in Ghent. Especially the latter hits the sweetspot of location, quality, service and price

This restaurant is featured in Guide Michelin. We just stopped by for a quick bite and they opened up the kitchen earlier than scheduled to give us a very nice entrée and a very good steak. Kudos for the nice service!
