Château de Villiers-le-Mahieu

We had a lovely weekend here! There was an open bar, with no bartender, so we spent the evening making fun self serve cocktails. The buffet dinner and breakfast were lovely. The grounds are really beautiful. My only negative comment would be that There were so many young families with children. The swimming pool was unusable during the morning family hours… But that’s fine!

Stayed at the Chateau de Villers-le-Mahieu for 4 nights for a business meeting. This is a very remote hotel great for meetings or a quiet weekend getaway. The location is about 1.5 hours from CDG airport or 1 hour from central Paris.||The grounds are amazing with rooms in the main Chateau, and several building around the grounds. The restaurant is very nice with good food selections. There is a nice pool area and many areas to just relax. My room was int eh main Chateau. The size of the room was not bad at all for Europe. Nice closet for storage and a safe in the room. Large TV and desk to work form. There was a coffee machine and kettle for team in the room. I also like the small refrigerator in the room. The only negative was the very short window in the room; however, I left it open most nights to let in the cool breeze. The bathroom was updated and very large. ||Overall, a great stay with nice staff. Quite county location.

Amazing stay with our 2 babies ! The food is incredible and the activities are spot on.

Picturesque Chateau, full of history, in a very charming area. The rooms are clean. The service is very friendly. The guests are polite. We took four nights with young kids and they loved the experience as they have many games and options to entertain the kids (and the parents )

Everything was good apart from the room that was one of the none renovated ones - it was clean but we had approx 30 ladybirds in the room in three days (not great to sleep properly…) and quality of it was disappointing (and apart from a “this is what it is” we had no real help from reception team). Apart from that the venue is very good, activities are great, spa team is very good, food is very good and kids club is great (special mention to Vince). Would definitely be 5 stars if room was better (or at least if it was mentioned when we booked it) and if team would have been more helpful and would have come with proper answers

Great event with friends who made the magic BUT badly impacted by an unfortunate experience : one vest of high value (luxury brand) has been stolen by the staff. The hotel did not pay attention to our comments| and did nothing to get the vest. They even refused to check with us.

Large private castle and surrounds buildings holding around 100 or so rooms, spa, pool, cinema, gym and large restaurant. It's commonly used for high end weddings and corporate events. The scenery is amazing and the castle well maintained. Service can be improved and some rooms need a renovation but overall lovely place.

Best value all inclusive we have experienced. Food and drinks amazing. Lots of activities, two pools, spa, gym, kids club and adults love it. Very French we were the only Brits there, well kept secret obviously! Only criticism no air con but we were there in a heat wave and they supplied extra fans.

The grounds of this place are magical. Ducks running around, cows in the distant fields, rowboats available for use, it's very storybook-esque. However.... I'd come for an afternoon in August to use the spa facilities and have a massage. The spa itself is small and outdated. As soon as I arrived I noticed that the place was packed with people. I asked if my day pass could be switched for another time - simply due to the fact that I live in New York City and am not interested in paying for an atmosphere that I could get for free at a public pool. I'm not saying this as an entitled pr!ck, there was literally no where to sit and "relax". Anyway, they said no. I couldn't use my day pass for another time. Merci! The massage was solid but I'd rather save my money and use at a better/larger/friendlier/more accommodating spa or resort in the future.

The 24/7 reception seems not to exist. My quite expensive camera was stolen at a family party, i left it unattended for 5min inside the room. Other guests complained about people in the Hotel asking for money. The personnel was very unfriendly confronted with that. Not worth half the room price.
