The room is spacious and clean. The room location is pretty good with a lot of restaurants nearby. But be aware that there is no elevator in the hotel and the staircase is quite narrow to carry the luggage up and down.

This hotel location is excellent. Air conditioning is excellent. Good space. Basic cable didn't include most channels. The kitchen had no lights working all burnt out. The furnishings are ok, the vents are dusty and dirty. It could be a good review but the services are disorganized, there is no onsite staff except cleaning, and the security is very dismal. My booking was not honored, we were put in the wrong room one night as they overbooked the rooms and gave us the key to the already occupied rooms so by way of that accessed others room!! Of course we did not take anything and told the hotel but it was shocking the lack of seriousness of security. Multiple people answer the chat communication by text and they do not communicate it is not clear where they work and what they do and their names. There is no onsite staff for assistance at any time at the "front desk". Several issues with external and internal security. No deadbolts, fire escape goes directly to rooms and windows, codes as keys and they are not updated. Between the administration billing issues and inconsistencies and safety, and i remain overcharged by $200 so I have to dispute it and report the violation of the Hotel Act and e-12 to get resolution, the staff refused to admit their mistakes and are not interested to assist. Perhaps they require a $2000 fine to get serious about advertising prices accurately , ensuring security of the facility, and fulfilling their obligations to their customers. I recommend the location but as my issues are not resolved, then I do not recommend this hotel.

This hotel worked well for us over a four-night stay. I ended up being a higher maintenance customer due to the instructions being sent to my cell number which wasn’t working in Quebec. Once past that issue, all of my interactions were positive and very responsive. We were able to easily get in to our room and we found it spacious and clean. This is an older building with creaky floors and steps. We enjoyed the proximity to shops and restaurants. There was even La Fête de la Musique on Saint-Jean just out the front which provided live music performances and a pedestrian friendly street. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace.

My son and I visited Quebec city this past weekend and had the great fortune of staying at this very special boutique hotel. We were on the third floor in room ten and appreciated that there was a lovely balcony that afforded us a beautiful view of the city and mountains. |Our unit had two separate sleeping rooms, one with a twin bed, and one with a queen, which was perfect for our purposes. The bathroom was huge and had a lovely Jacuzzi style tub as well as a separate shower. Everything was very clean and we both found our beds comfortable with nice linens.|The location of this hotel was perfect! We parked the car in a secure lot for hotel guests (there is a modest extra charge for this) and never needed to use it once the entire long weekend. Instead, we were able to easily walk to everywhere we wanted to go, as all of the sites that we wanted to see were within 1.2 miles distance (and many lovely shops & fabulous restaurants were closer). |Before arrival, I was a little bit nervous as I’ve never stayed in a hotel with remote check-in services, but I found that the staff was excellent about providing information, and very responsive to any questions. On our last day, as we were getting the car to depart, we discovered that the battery was dead due to accidentally leaving an interior light on. I texted the hotel staff to ask if they had any recommendations for how we could get a jump, and the staff member (Sandrine) appeared in the garage in less than two minutes with jumper cables in hand! Talk about above and beyond service! |I really cannot say enough about how much we loved our stay. We are already looking at dates to come back!

Nice place to stay, especially if you’re planning to mostly be out and about to explore. The location is perfect. The rooms are basic and not luxurious, but everything you need is there. Having an AC was definitely worth it. There also a common area and an unmanned reception with some kitchen facilities.I had to contact the accommodation for check-in info, but they were very prompt, friendly and helpful. The self-checkin with access codes was easy. There’s no elevator and the rooms are not on ground floor level, I knew this of course, because it’s written in the hotel info. I had a room with a balcony and that was a nice touch. There’s also a patio on the rooftop. It would be nice if they provide some more information about the place. I discovered the patio by just exploring myself. All by all, I had a good stay of 2 nights. I only slept in the place, as I was mostly outdoors.

I knew what the hotel was going to be like, and the price was accordingly cheaper than other hotels we investigated. If price is important, then by all means, stay at this hotel. If we go again, we'll pay more to avoid hauling our suitcases up two long flights of stairs. The rooms are funky, but clean. We were sent instructions on how to get into the hotel and into our room. There were other people staying there but we saw no one and we never saw the owner/manager, either.

During our visit to Quebec, we stayed at a hotel that exceeded our expectations. The room was both stylish and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after our days of exploring. The hotel's location was perfect for visiting Old Quebec, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of the area with ease.Conveniently, the hotel offered nearby parking, and we appreciated being able to unload our luggage right in front of the entrance. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, enabling us to settle into our room quickly and without any issues. Overall, our stay was delightful, and the hotel's amenities and prime location made our trip even more enjoyable.

Edit from original review** After some communication and updates from the staff here, I can say I would recommend staying here. I will write about our experience below. After writing my initial review, Steffany reached out to me and told me about the changes they are implementing: - They installed a new camera security system - They have fixed the front door that wasn't closing - They are installing deadlocks in every room They genuinely seem committed to making the necessary changes to improve security, and take customer feedback seriously. Every member of the staff I spoke with was empathetic and tried to help us. If the changes they are making now had been in place before our stay, I would have felt more comfortable given the situation we were in. Our experience: We did have an issue during our stay where someone from the outside was trying to get into our room. They were able to enter the hotel through the laundry room, but were not able to get into our room. I don't believe they were trying to rob us, but likely looking for a free place to sleep. We were able to leave through the opposite door and call the emergency number. Staff arrived and were very helpful, but we obviously did not have a good night. The hotel: Given the neighborhood is walkable, close to restaurants and great coffee (I recommend Dix MIlle Matin and Cantook), I would consider staying here again. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen had good utensils and pans for cooking. I would suggest booking through their website directly as the third party we booked through did not pass along the correct contact information and I had to call once I arrived. Parking is offsite and it is a very steep hill, so be prepared to walk 5-10 minutes from the garage. We paid $16 per night.

Yelp
Love this place. It's a historic small building, but recently remodeled so all facilities are new and clean. The breakfast is awesome. You get lots of good stuff in bags: yogurt, grapes, bread, croissant and drinks. The only thing we don't like is that the parking is two blocks away, not onsite. But since I am very satisfied with other things, I will not lower the rating just because of the parking.

Yelp
A wonderful B&B place near the old part of Quebec City. We arrived here and our host gave us a guided tour of this place. It is a bit older, but he looked after his establishment quite well. Our suite has a small kitchen that allowed my girlfriend and I to cook ourselves when we don't want to eat out. Anyhow, the suite has full amenities. The food the host prepares is excellent. Fresh eggs and the works plus the best bread ever from a local bakery. The walk to the old town is about 15 minutes walk? And it's a nice stroll. There's also a few grocery stores nearby and many eateries. My only comments are bed is a bit soft for our taste as well as the neighbourhood can be a bit tilting towards shady later at night.

Yelp
A wonderful bed and breakfast. The owner and staff were very helpful, friendly and gave good recommendations on restaurants. The location was in a real neighborhood with good places to eat nearby. It was a short stroll to the old part of Quebec City. The breakfast was homemade and delicious every morning and they were really nice to our 2 year old.

Yelp
This is the most wonderful B&B. The owner and his two staff members, his aunt and William, were ever so helpful. They served a delicious breakfast and took the time to recommend both things to do and places to eat. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and the bed super comfortable. Every afternoon, when we came back from exploring the city, the room would be cleaned spotless. The location of this B&B is perfect. It is only a 10 min. walk from the tourist sights but located in the less touristy Faubourg neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and fun shopping.

Yelp
LOVE this place. Clean rooms, great staircase, friendly staff. If you want a bustling city vibe, this charming little hotel is just right. Out of all the places we stayed in Canada, Tourelles stands out vividly in my mind. Not for those who expect the mainstream.

Yelp
We stayed here recently on a vacation trip to QC. It's a nicely restored inn in a less-touristy area, but near some terrific bakeries, coffee shops, and restaurants. We checked out a bit early because we found the location somewhat noisy. It was warmer than normal so we slept with the windows open. I'd recommend a 3rd floor room if possible as the plumbing could also be noisy. Soon after leaving I was missing the perfectly prepared poached eggs that they serve for breakfast. I'd go back just for those!
