Château Gassies

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay at Château Gassies and experience a signature journey through Bordeaux’s finest; incredible, unimaginable, and truly luxurious! Something you could never access without Château Gassies. I had the chance to visit beautiful places like a charming mill, the Truffle and Caviar Farm, and enjoy a caviar tasting with an amazing explanation of how it’s made. We also visited stunning châteaux and villages around Bordeaux and had lunches and dinners in the most authentic, delicious local restaurants with the finest food choices. All thanks to Géraldine and Ben, the owners and organizers of "French Art de vivre at Château Gassies". It was such a unique experience that I keep talking about it with my family, friends and colleagues. I wish everyone who loves French culture, food, and wine could give themselves this opportunity to spend a week discovering Bordeaux in a truly special way. It’s not the bling-bling kind of luxury, but the best version of authentic elegance staying at Château Gassies, where design, architecture, modernity, and the soul of French style come together for a peaceful, grateful, and unique experience. Also, I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people from Paris, Arcachon, Lebanon, and Marrakech. We spent several days together enjoying, talking, sharing moments, and discovering that we had the same values and interests in French culture, food, and wine. I made new friends, which is something truly unique and precious in life. Again, I 100% recommend this beautiful tour to anyone who wants to create unforgettable memories in their life. I just got married at the beautiful grounds of Chateau Gassies in mid September and it was a dream come true! They are an established venue so everything from the beginning was streamlined to perfection. Communication (in English) was smooth and easy. our site visit a couple months before the wedding made us eager to return for the big day(s) It’s a private property so you don’t have to worry about random people on the grounds for your wedding/private event. We especially enjoyed the fact that most of our guests were able to stay on the property (appx 40-ish) so everyone was on time to all the events. The on site crew was super friendly and efficient, driving all the arrival and departures with golf carts to the parking lot so we didn’t have to drag our suitcases on the gravel paths. We had a random issue that was discovered after the wedding, a curtain holder was falling off the wall. However, the chateau did a thorough assessment and ultimately deemed that we were not liable for the charge. We would love to go back for any kind of reason, it was truly a magical experience

We had the most incredible wedding weekend at the chateau. We had to delay our wedding by a year as we had a baby. Stevie and the team were so accommodating & worked so well with our wedding planner to ensure all our dreams came true. Stevie was on site across the weekend - and was so accommodating of all our guests including, our one year old and other kids that attended! We loved having breakfast with all our guests each morning in the Orangerie - Paola was wonderful! The massage and the pool party, the day after the wedding were particular highlights. We can't wait to come back for an anniversary soon.

We were there filming and from the start it was amazing. The heat was something else at 36c the cameras nearly needed sunscreen! The vibe was unreal and the whole place had a brilliant energy to it. Everywhere you turned looked beautiful, from the grounds to the buildings, and it all came together perfectly. Marine, Jessica, and Juliet were incredible, keeping everything smooth and making sure we were looked after. The food, the drinks, the setting... everything made it a day to remember. Walking into the cool air conditioning inside felt amazing, the kind of relief you’re thankful for on a day like that. A huge thanks as well to Morane for finding one of our recording devices I left behind. Picked it up the next day thanks to her and that meant a lot. A beautiful day with brilliant people and memories I’ll carry with me. Thanks again to everyone at Château Gassies... hope to be back again soon.

The wedding of our dreams was made possible at Chateau Gassies, thanks to Géraldine, her husband, and their wonderful team! They ensured we had everything we needed throughout our wedding week and were with us every step of the way. The rooms were not only beautiful and spotless, but also equipped with everything we could have asked for—and more. Planning a destination wedding from the US was effortless because the Chateau’s website offered an excellent selection of partnered vendors to choose from. This made the process stress-free and gave us so much confidence in our decisions. We are forever grateful to Chateau Gassies and their incredible team for making our special day even more magical than we had imagined. We cannot wait to return in 10 years to celebrate our anniversary in the very place where it all began!

What a venue! Made Tom & Laura's wedding complete. Fabulous weekend. Beautiful setting. Food was the best we have eaten, just perfect. Service from all the staff was second to none. Can not fault a single thing.

What a beautiful Chateau.... the place is updated, pristine, just breathtaking. The staff is incredibly helpful. They know everyone's name! They go above and beyond for you to experience this amazing Chateau in the hills of Bordeaux.

Chateau Gassies was the most magical location for our daughter’s wedding. The photos on the website simply don’t do it justice. The grounds, rooms and event spaces are all beautiful and very well maintained with an amazing ambiance. With all that said, the best aspect of our stay was the gracious and warm welcome we received from the owners, Geraldine and Behnouche. Their warmth, attention to detail and calm competence made the entire experience simply wonderful! A warm thank you to them and their entire staff.
