The chateau is beautiful, in relaxing grounds with an orchard from which they produce fresh apple juice. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is excellent. The main building is lovely, but wi-fi is patchy, as, on occasions is phone reception. I stayed in one of the overflow rooms (this was peak season), a wooden caravan in the grounds. This can be a quirky, different option. But it can get hot and is located some distance from the main building. ||This is really a bed and breakfast. You have to book dinners 48 hours ahead, but there's a bistro opposite that serves local seafood specialities. The main tourist towns are just 10 minutes' drive away, so there's lots to do and see, and some very good food. Also good activities for children.||One of my favourite parts of France, I've visited several times and never tired of it.
