Beautiful chateau just west of Tours, France. It's not the largest chateau, though it is very large, but what really sets this place apart from the others is its gardens. The largest and most intricate gardens of any of the chateaus in the valley. Some of them are flowers and shrubs, others are fruit-bearing plants, but they're all beautiful. The interior of the chateau, don't get me wrong, is quite nice as well. Several rooms are intricately detailed, but the gardens are the big draw here.
A nice touch, there are a couple boutiques where you can buy souvenirs, of course, but one of the boutiques is geared towards gardening, which is very on brand for this chateau. Also nice, you can buy seeds from the gardens for your home garden, very nice touch! If you're planning to travel here and have a home garden, look into your country's laws regarding bringing home seeds as that could be quite the nice souvenir.
