This is a truly amazing hotel set in a historic castle. The surroundings are picture-perfect—rolling hills, peaceful pastures, and cows gazing down at us as we relaxed. It feels like something out of a storybook.||The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Dinners were a real highlight—delicious, creative, and full of local flavor. Breakfast was also fantastic, with fresh croissants, cheeses, cold cuts, vegetables, fruits—everything you need, and even a bit more.||I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended!

Booked for a night while travelling back to Uk. The whole experience was lovely - helped by a very professional and personable team. The room was perfect - I was worried about no ac - but rooms are high and airy. All amenities were there, there was tea and coffee facilities in the hallway outside the rooms. The grounds and pool were a welcome chance to rest from a long day of driving. Easy to find . The beds were super comfy - nice and tranquil environment. The dinner is worth every penny - we ate outside which was delightful - my compliments to the chef as everything was delicious. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. Every staff member we came across was polite and happy. Can’t wait to re visit.

Very pretty countryside setting. The gentleman working reception was very nice and gave us good tourism ideas. Our one regret was that we did not have dinner there. They had a Michelin star in 2017. Smelled way better than what we had in Nevers. Rooms were good. It is an old renovated chateau, so the floors creaked, and the stairs were narrow. I could see it being warm in the summer. Great experience. Breakfast was good as well. Would stay again.

Booked this place the night before in order to break up a long journey as it was in the right location and looked interesting. It didn’t disappoint as it sympathetically renovated, the pool was warm (solar heated) and the food was very good. The staff were very accommodating with our 7 year old and our room was well appointed and renovated. What others have said about those with limited mobility is probably correct as in it’s an old building with a spiral staircase although there is an annex which may offer easier access.

Well preserved castle with hotel rooms inside. Rooms and common areas are beautiful and lovingly restored. Authentic art works adorn the old walls. Food is delicious and guests are the highest priority at the hotel. I love the place!
