If you’re planning a vacation or business trip, this is the correct place to book a peaceful, adventurous, wonderful clean & awesome place. Feels like being in paradise without actually being in it. Staff makes you feel very welcomed as if it were your home without it being a home. If you’re bored in your room and need some action, there’s a pool, restaurant, bar & lots of other fun activities such as tennis, parks & spas. I didn’t get to use everything they provided but next time I will. Rooms are extremely neat, well decorated, couldn’t have had asked for a better stay! The guests are very kind, and considered of others. Fast WiFi if you work online, humongous television ….. couldn’t have asked for a better booking! Wish I could’ve stayed longer. Thanks for accommodating me and making my stay pleasurable. 10 stars recommended, better than the Hilton and more pleasant than the Double tree ! CHECK IT OUT ! Aroma is also splendid , cool lobby waiting area … and the views are gorgeous :)

During my stay, I experienced several issues that made the visit very unpleasant. Room Service: There were no towels in the room when I arrived. The room phone was not working, so I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. It then took about 30 minutes for a maid to bring towels, and only enough for one person, even though there were two guests. This delay caused us to miss a very important appointment. Parking: Parking is extremely poorly managed. Guests staying at the hotel are not prioritized. Instead, spaces are taken by party attendees. The parking pass provided was useless, and when I finally managed to park, a tow sticker was placed on my car. Safety & Facilities: The parking lot is very dark and unsafe. Out of four elevators, only one was working. Both staff and guests had to use this single elevator, leading to long waits and constant overcrowding. Overall, these conditions made my stay stressful, inconvenient, and unsafe.

I had an amazing stay at Chateau Mar Hotel! My room was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what I needed for a relaxing visit. The front desk team made all the difference—they were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Huge shoutouts to Kianna, Dayna, and Ms. Allison for their exceptional service! Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made my stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a hotel where you feel truly welcomed and taken care of, Chateau Mar is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back!

Don’t particularly like this area. The room was clean but the AC didn’t work well. The balcony is so small I felt claustrophobic. The decor was unique, fun & different. The ladies at the check-in/ out were very nice. There was a big ragae venue going on and the music was very loud but thank goodness we were on the 7th floor and it couldn’t be heard. It was very clean but the towels felt like sandpaper. The bed was decent and the tons are large. All in all I’d give it a 3.5

If I could give zero stars, I would. From the moment I arrived, this hotel looked totally abandoned and neglected. The place felt like a ghost town with virtually no staff around, yet bizarrely I noticed some people who seemed to be living there long-term. The few staff members I encountered were unmotivated and unwilling to help with anything. My room was filthy and extremely poorly maintained. There was dust and grime everywhere, and even basic amenities were missing or broken. None of the lamps even had light bulbs, leaving the room in darkness. The bathroom was the worst: the toilet paper roll hadn’t even been replaced after the last guest – absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. To top it off, the fire alarm went off late at night and blared for almost an hour. I was jolted awake and had to wait forever for them to finally shut it off. It was a ridiculous late-night fiasco with no apology or explanation from management. Finally, the price was the last straw. This dump charged an outrageous amount per night for such a nightmare experience. I have never felt so ripped off by a hotel. Bottom line: stay far away from this hotel – no matter how desperate you are, it’s just not worth it.

If you’re into history and staying in a place that in its heyday had A list stars staying in it then this place is for you. However, that is the beginning and end of the “perks”. Its very unfortunate because this place could be incredible if it were owned by someone who gave even half a crap about it and had some pride in their establishment. Wasn’t able to check in at the allotted time due to them not having the rooms ready. Was told to put my name on a list and they would call me as soon as a room was made available. Waited in the lobby for an hour before approaching the desk again and seeing how the rooms were coming along and was promptly checked in. The phone call was never coming. The lobby smells of weed and the rooms of cigarettes. The “marketplace” was empty so you better have everything you need food and amenity wise. There are three elevators. One was operational and appeared to be on its last legs as it stopped at incorrect floors consistently and had masking tape closing the control panel. Decided to suck it up and use the stairs. The rooms are rooms but at least the ac worked. In all if it weren’t for the history and some window dressing in the form of retro decoration than this place would frankly be abhorrent. If I were you I’d come in walk around, snap the photos you want of the memorabilia so you can say you went and then leave. 2 stars solely because I love the historical aspect of it.

I want to start by saying that the hotel itself is fantastic, but the venue experience was disappointing. In April, I visited to check out a room for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday party. On the day of the visit, I loved the room, but the day before my event, there was heavy rain, water was leaking from the ceiling and water was coming down the wall. 😭 Fast forward to the day of the party: when we arrived to make final preparations the day of my event , water was still running down the walls. By the time the event started, the leaks were still a problem. 😡 Some guests nearly ruined their clothes due to the dripping water. I spoke with the venue manager, who said she would need to consult the general manager. I waited three weeks without any follow-up call. When I finally reached out, I was told that the general manager would call her back the next day. The manager even claimed it hadn’t rained that day, which frustrated me. While it may not have rained that day, the leaks were undeniable during my event. It was clear that the room had been experiencing water issues for some time. It’s unbelievable that they would rent out a room with known roof problems. If you consider booking a venue here, avoid the room in the back near the pool. If you encounter similar issues, don’t expect any refunds. It’s truly unacceptable.

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The Chateau Mar Golf Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham is absolutely not a 4-star hotel, not even close. The atmosphere felt unsafe and chaotic from the start. There was no staff to greet us, no luggage cart, and no visible security. I genuinely felt afraid to even take out my phone outside the entrance at night. the place gave off a dangerous vibe. When I entered the room, I found it flooded with water because the refrigerator had broken and leaked everywhere. The hallways and elevator had a bad odor, and the room was basic, definitely not up to 4-star standards. I asked where to park my car, followed their instructions, and then — at 1 AM — someone knocked on my hotel room door to tell me I had to move it because like 10 police vehicles were in front of the hotel due to some incident. That was shocking and disturbing. I booked through Priceline Express Deals, trusting I would get a proper 4-star hotel. Instead, I ended up here. I honestly don’t know how this hotel is rated 4 stars — it feels more like a rundown, unsafe motel. Do not stay here. Terrible experience from start to finish.
