Chateau Mcely

I had a wonderful time at Chateau Mcely! Every staff member from the reservation team who answered a million emails quickly, the man who welcomed me, the maid who brought me requested items, to the entire wait staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. They all made me feel at home in their beautiful chateau. The food was delicious, the hotel very clean, and the room was super comfortable. I also got the Nine Flowers treatment from Michal in the spa, and it was life changing! Living in Prague and not having a car to drive there was a bit of a logistical juggle, but the staff was very helpful, answering my questions, adapting for arrival and departure times, and getting me a taxi. Grateful for my time.

Fantastic service from gate entrance to checkout. Many things to do - wine cellar, winter garden bar, observatory. Very pleasant staff. The private spa was fantastic and relaxing. We fell ill at the time of our reservation and reception accommodated a last minute change of dates. Thank you! Suggestions: There should be a sommelier on the restaurant floor who knows how to serve wine. Adding a mandatory 10% tip is not customary in CZ and it takes away the feeling that I'm rewarding performance.

We came to Cahteau Mcely as guests to a wedding and we both agreed from the first day that This Chateau is beyond beautiful. The grounds are so lovely and well maintained. Every single member of staff we spoke with was incredibly sweet and helpful. The food is amazing, they know how to put on a serving of amazing food that will leave you spoilt for choice. I would absolutely recommend this place, for a wedding, a romantic getaway, a family weekend away. Thank you to all staff for making it a wonderful trip

I have visited the place as "stuff" when I helped one of the wedding organizers. The premises are impressive and the spring made everything look beautiful, give a bohemian vibe. The toilets or the powder room smells amazing, the towels are like velvet and everything is very clean, at high standards.

Chateau Mcely really is a special place. The chateau itself is absolutely beautiful and has been meticulously renovated, with the furniture and decor complimenting the space perfectly. The dining was excellent, from the breakfast through to dinner, where the chef demonstrates his creative flair with some very interesting dishes. We went for the full board option which I would highly recommend, given the lack of other options in the surrounding area, though after just two nights we had managed to taste everything on the menu. A special mention goes to Natalie in the dining room who went to great lengths to ensure we enjoyed our experience each day. We stayed in a Superior room which was of a reasonable size (not hugely spacious but equally but cramped). It was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the bathroom! My only gripe was that house keeping could make more of an effort - dirty glasses were not removed and water bottles were but replenished, which made it feel like they had done rush job. In addition, in a hotel of this standard, a turndown service each evening would be a welcome addition. Overall, our stay at Mcely Chateau was beautiful - one of the best 5-star hotels we have stayed in in the Czech Republic and definitely deserving of its rating. I would highly recommend it.

An exceptional stay. We spent two nights here and everything from the staff, food and service in excellent. The chateau interiors and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Spa treatments in private rooms, a comprehensive library and table tennis in sun all added to relaxation and fun. Cannot wait to return and will definitely be back soon.

Everything about Chateau Mcely is 5 star. We have visited 4 times and services are superb. Princess Nely Suite and the whole concept of Stay with Princess Nely is amazing, kids definitely enjoye a lot. Garden is very well maintained. You can find there small but nice kids playground. During the summer you can enjoy warm days in nature pool. We definitely come again. Only one negative note i see in the ovepriced restaurant menu. Of course it is delicious, but i think around 20% off would be fair price for what they serve and offer.

This place was amazing! We were here for a wedding. Every detail was extraordinary. The staff was attentive and helpful. The accommodations were great. The room was a little small but very nice. The food was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful! I wish we’d had an opportunity to try the spa but the wedding schedule didn’t allow. I hope to make it back here. It’s worth the travel from Prague.

The most romantic chateau in the Czech Republic. Great for weekend escapes. They have stunning restaurant - Piano Nobile, the chateau is surrounded by beautiful gardens, the rooms are super romantic and the spa is just stunning. The outside pool is great during the hot summer days. I can highly recommend booking the jacuzzi and sauna. Its a great experience.

Spent a Weekend here with bunch of friends and coworkers . This place is a masterpiece! Highly attentive staff, an upscale ambiance and great meals. Kids and pets welcome. So watch out!
