Château Saint-Roux

I had a beautiful stay. The place is gorgeous and all the people working there are really nice and friendly. My room was very big and I found a beautiful cushion for my pet. I would have loved a pool instead of the kids area that is under construction. I’ll definitely come back next year!

We had a truly delightful experience at Château Saint-Roux. We visited for lunch and to explore the property, and everything exceeded expectations. The food was exceptional – beautifully presented and full of flavour. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease throughout our visit. The gardens are absolutely stunning. With every step, you’re met with vibrant blooms, rose gardens, and charming corners that look like scenes from a painting. The entire estate exudes tranquillity and elegance. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a refined yet relaxed day in the heart of authentic Provence.

We liked our stay. The hotel would get 5 stars if there was a pool. We didn’t realise most people only stay for one night (which we were told when we checked in for 3!) and breakfast was an extra €20pp per morning which feels totally like a “gotcha” charge when you’re a few miles from the next cafe/restaurant/shop. Despite that it’s a stunning setting and the wines from the vineyard were lovely

We stayed one night at Château Saint Roux during our trip from La Ciotat to Antibes, and the experience was exceptional. The place is incredibly calm and relaxing — perfect for a peaceful getaway. We booked a room for six people on the top floor, and it came with a stunning view over the vineyard. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a charming rustic touch. Dinner was another highlight: truly exceptional food paired with great wine. Unfortunately, we missed out on the wine tasting (it needs to be booked in advance), but that’s just a reason to come back! The property also has a small farm and a big yard, which is perfect if you’re traveling with kids. Overall, a fantastic stay — highly recommended.

Our stay was amazing ! From the reception team with Amandine to the wine tasting and visit of the estate with Jean Francois. We had a lovely experience in this amazing location. Our standard bedroom was perfect for a couple and the dinner in front of the wineyard was memorable. Thank you very much for this experience !

A charming hotel on an organic vineyard, with a wonderful animal sanctuary with many friendly animals. While you can walk the winding paths of the sanctuary on your own, they also do tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays and introduce you personally to each animal, which is a treat. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, mostly overlooking the vineyards. Some have kitchens. A great hotel for a nature-loving couple or family. Check for last-minute deals.

Lovely location and a nice experience of traditional Provence architecture and decor. The room, although somewhat a challenge to access…55 steps…is a beautiful space with wonderful views once you enter. The wine produced on the estate is truly beautiful and delicious. So much so we shipped 96 bottles home 😉 Breakfast along with the service from the delightful lady who looked after us, was a pleasure. The only downside was the main restaurant. The choice of food was rather a surprise…veal from Scotland for example, which was pre cooked, as was the lamb choice. As such, we tried a pasta dish and an a starter of asparagus and bresaola, both of which were a huge letdown and we were unable to eat. My wife and I chose to eat out on the second evening. A real shame, as we thought we would be sampling freshly cooked to order locally sourced ingredients. Having stayed at the Ultimate Estate last year where we enjoyed several excellent dining experiences, this was a real letdown on this special occasion.

A wonderful experience! Beautiful surroundings, a comfortable room, excellent food and service. The wine was incredibly good, and the overall experience was amazing. Highly recommended!
