Chateau St Cloud

A gem of a hotel on La Digue. Great location, easy to base from and get around on the bikes. The pool is lovely, the surroundings in the forest lovely too. The staff are nothing short of fantastic! We had issues with a bike lock, and hotel staff came to the rescue, just great. And even more helpful, when I left my wallet at the hotel, they put it safely on the nex ferry to Mahe, so I could collect in time before flying home! We were also lucky enough to be there during Creole Festival, and one of the nights they did a spectacular Creole buffet for dinner! Fantastic local recipes and food! It's not a 5-star Raffles hotel, but the people and service are indeed 5 Star! Merci, St Cloud people! Hope the rains arrive soon!

We had an amazing experience at this hotel during our stay in the Seychelles. What stood out the most was how easy and fast everything went. We arrived directly at the hotel without any hassle, and within just 5 minutes I had arranged everything with the manager – check-in, room access, and all the details we needed. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The location was beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was exactly as described. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free start to their holiday!

We were looking for a place to stay overnight and accidentally found this gem. The hotel is amazing! It has authentic colonial buildings with spacious rooms surrounded by a garden. Where they carefully preserved the old design, details, etc making the experience unique. I wish I could spend more time there, but we had to leave La Digue next day. The staff was super nice snd friendly. They even helped us with a e-book that we forgot in the room and sent it with a ferry to Praslin for free

Chateau St Cloud is a hidden gem in La Digue! The location is peaceful yet close to beaches like Anse Source d'Argent. Rooms are spacious, clean, and full of charm. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the tropical garden, relaxing pool, and delicious Creole dinners. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy island life. Highly recommended!

We had rooms with a view of the pool and the treetops, which was especially nice at sunset. Otherwise, the hotel was rather mediocre. The bikes (rather poor quality) cost over 10€ per bike per day and the staff seems very disinterested and put upon. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very gloomy and the breakfast rather poor. In any case, there is hardly any choice. You should also note that you can pay the bill at (except restaurant bills) only cash. This was not pointed out beforehand and with the partly high prices, this is already very poor service.

The hotel is 15 min walking distance from the port on the hilly side of the island. Pls choose this hotel if yo want calm and quite resort. |The pool is nice and big enough. |Breakfast and dinner plenty and varied. They always have fish in the menu.|Beaches are approx 10-15 min away by bike. You have to pay for the bikes on the contrary it is not a cheap hotel.|The quality of the bikes are vary.|Rooms are big wth balcony, air conditioner and vents. |Staff is nice, friendly. |Wifi is only available in the restaurant and connection is very poor.|Hotel also offer diving, snorkeling and whole day programs.||
