My stay at Chateau Windsor Hotel in Mumbai was honestly beyond disgusting. The rooms are completely gaslighted. Not a single one looks good in reality. Forget “select rooms” — none of them match the pictures they show online. It feels straight-up deceptive, like they expect guests to just accept whatever they throw at you. The staff is unbelievably rude. Hospitality is supposed to be their basic duty, yet every single person behaves as if they’re doing guests a huge favour by even acknowledging them. From the reception to the lift operator, the arrogance and attitude are on another level. The way they talk to guests is absolutely unacceptable. The whole place doesn’t even feel like a hotel. It feels like a strict, suffocating hostel where you’re not even allowed to speak in the lobby without someone glaring at you. There is zero warmth, zero respect, and zero professionalism. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any hotel. I left feeling disgusted, disrespected, and honestly shocked that a place like this is still running. I would strongly advise people to avoid this hotel at all costs.

Great hotel located at convenient location i.e near churchgate station with amazing hospitality. Rooms were cleaned, hotel staff was polite and helpful, food was delicious. Overall experience was fabulous.

basic hotel with expensive pricing. service is good. they said too many things and charged extra 1000 Rs . reception people rude. asked for kids id also not sure why they need that. limited car patking. breakfast is aslo just basic . overall basic experience.

The rooms are clean but the bed was way too soft. Also there was no water kettle in the room to make a tea as advertised. The breakfast reminded me of a youth hostel. I had to eat my breakfast while standing. Checkin was fast but the staff was a bit reserved and not as welcoming as it could be. The wifi way very slow as well. Still a very nice location.

Very good hotel in the very good location.Even though it is old ,rooms are very clean and good maintenance.Service is very high quality and very helpful.They care so much for the guests.Food was simple and homely and tasty as well

Terrible experience at Chateau Windsor, Churchgate. On the very first night, I accidentally dropped my room key in a taxi. When I approached the reception for assistance, the staff behaved in an appalling manner. Instead of providing support, the receptionist grumbled continuously, muttered complaints to other staff, and reluctantly suggested I sleep in a different room. Only after much insistence did he finally open my original room door with a master key — which clearly proves such an option existed from the beginning. For the rest of my stay, they denied me a replacement key, refused to clean my room, and later threatened to keep my luggage unless I paid ₹4000 for the lost key. I have since lodged formal complaints with Booking.com, the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), and the Tourism Board of India. This hotel practices harassment, hostility, and intimidation, not hospitality. Strongly advise avoiding it.

Stayed with my family and 2 young kids. If you looking for a budget basic no frills with great location. This is the place. Breakfast is basic. Service is very good. Clean basic room setup.
