It is situated in one of the best locations of Mumbai. Just few minutes walk to Marine drive, Nariman Point and fort. Perfect for work stays. Rooms are old, but spacious and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean. They provide a limited items but tasty breakfast. Overall worth it.

Rooms were nice and clean. Location is nice as it’s in Churchgate a few hundred meters from marine drive. There wasn’t any sea view though, atleast from my room, for those wishing for one. The staff is supportive. Room restaurant dine wasn’t available except for maybe a tea. Though it could be ordered from online apps. 4 stars as it could have been better for the price n telephone Helpdesk maybe a bit more softer. Breakfast offered till 11 am was decent.

The staff were very proactive regarding room service and other parking. Parking space available was limited, but the staff managed it well. Even though the hotel was in an old building with small corridors, the rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. The dining area where breakfast was served was small but neatly kept.

Stayed with my family and 2 young kids. If you looking for a budget basic no frills with great location. This is the place. Breakfast is basic. Service is very good. Clean basic room setup.

Terrible experience at Chateau Windsor, Churchgate. On the very first night, I accidentally dropped my room key in a taxi. When I approached the reception for assistance, the staff behaved in an appalling manner. Instead of providing support, the receptionist grumbled continuously, muttered complaints to other staff, and reluctantly suggested I sleep in a different room. Only after much insistence did he finally open my original room door with a master key — which clearly proves such an option existed from the beginning. For the rest of my stay, they denied me a replacement key, refused to clean my room, and later threatened to keep my luggage unless I paid ₹4000 for the lost key. I have since lodged formal complaints with Booking.com, the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), and the Tourism Board of India. This hotel practices harassment, hostility, and intimidation, not hospitality. Strongly advise avoiding it.

The hotel is located near the Marine Drive,Gateway Of India and Taj Hotel as well.The hotel also provided us with wonderful room service and breakfast which was extremely delicious as well as it was piping hot.

The room is not too bad, pretty basic. However, it is evident that every facility was arranged, but not none of them are in functioning condition. The worst experience was with the staff at the reception. Our check-in time was 12 and we had booking for three adults and one child (17 year old) And it was clarified in the booking when making the booking. At the time of checking in, however, the old man at the reception claimed that Booking.com has not updated, but according to their policies, children are up to 5 years. While that can definitely be their policy, I constantly showed them the proof of my booking where there was complete clarity from our side. Plus when we went to check-in at 12, we were told to come back an hour later, as the room wasn’t ready. While we happily accommodated, when it was their turn to accommodate the age factor (which was also their mistake on the listing), they threatened us to cancel the booking and asked us to leave. While we were about to comply, they took it back and checked us in. Moreover, the room had a hair dryer which wasn’t functional at all, the AC did not cool such that we had to call in housekeeping at 3 AM at night. They cleaned the AC at that time and claimed it wasn’t cooling because of dust. Can you imagine how unhygienic that would be ? Plus, the AC was constantly leaking, we even had to remove the bed by the AC. On the first night of our stay, There was no water provided, and when we called the Reception asking for Water, We were told that the hotel does not provide water in the rooms. However, the next day housekeeping did provide free water in the room. As a whole, If I’m going for a vacation, the harassment and behaviour that we had at this particular hotel was absolutely unacceptable.
