Chateau Yering Hotel

This is such a wonderful place! We booked very last minute (as in less than an hour before we arrived) due to an issue with our original accomodation, elsewhere. When we arrived, Anne greeted us at the front desk and was so welcoming and accommodating. She was lovely and professional. The room was super spacious, well appointed, and very clean. The property is absolutely beautiful and the building itself is magnificent. The reason we didn't give it 5 stars is that it is clear the owners need to spend some more money to maintain the property.

Booked this hotel as we attended a wedding next door at Yering Station. Pics dont do this place justice. It is a big room with everything well thought of. Love the bath amenities. I would be back! Great place to escape city living.

Lovely heritage style stately home in the Yarra Valley, very close to Yarra Glen. Rooms are large and spacious with a welcome bottle of wine and some snacks on arrival in the room. There is tea and coffee making facilities and a small long life milk in the fridge. The TV is quite an old unit and no streaming services available. The bed in my room was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. I booked through Qantas hotels on a seasonal special and was quite happy with the rate I got for under $200 a night room only. Breakfast is an additional $35 per person and a two or three course set menu Dinner is available in the lovely dining room.

This is one of my favourite places I have ever stayed we will return. Staff are friendly and more than willing to accommodate any requests, food is 5 star I had the best cheese platter of my life and the meals are exceptional the steak was again 5 star quality best dish my partner said he'd ever had. Happy travellers we will return. Celebrated my birthday and views and size of the room with a spa and a day bed in the window was the perfect way to unwind and celebrate in style. The breakfast menu again does not disappoint all round great stay!!

So disappointed with this 5 star Chateau Yering cancellling our dinner reservation 30 minutes prior to arrival. Apparently all the chefs were sick even though they had been open for lunch. Maybe they just don't want to pay their staff. We planned to celebrate my husband's birthday with a fine dining experience and stay. That was the whole point of staying here was fine dining and then go upstairs to bed and no driving or travelling. We felt trapped here with no food after visiting wineries during the day and no means to get to another restaurant open on a Sunday night without paying $120 return trip for an uber. I would not have stayed here if the restaurant wasn't open. So no dinner and no proper celebration. What a waste of time and money coming here. We even put our doggies in a kennel to do this at a big expense including accommodation here for us so our plans were ruined. Sorry is not good enough. Don't have your special occasion ruined staying here. They obviously did not go to the School of hospitality. No compensation or complimentary breakfast just sorry.

I just want to leave a glowing review for the stunning Chateau Yering Hotel! My fiancé and I booked rooms for ourselves and our bridal party to get ready on the morning of our wedding. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms. They assisted us with everything we needed on the day and helped me when it was time for me to depart for the church. After our church ceremony, we returned to Chateau Yering for our bridal photos. Once again, they were incredibly accommodating, assisting with our needs and entertaining our family members. It is definitely a place we would 100% recommend for any occasion, including a weekend getaway. From the moment you step into the chateau, you are whisked away into the Victorian era. It's as if the world outside is rushing by, but you find yourself in a state of stillness and awe at the beauty of this amazing place. Château Yering is a genuinely unique experience. The building itself is beautiful, full of character and history, and set within stunning gardens that invite you to slow down and take it all in. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, the food is excellent, and the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. There’s a clear attention to detail in every aspect of the stay. If you appreciate charm, heritage, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful service, this is absolutely the place.

This place is stunning. A historic getaway! A definite escape from the hustle bustle to another era. It does however need some life breathed back into getting it back up to its former glory.A good dust and some more marketing would help to get some blood back through its veins! Get the pool and tennis court in working order and a vibe will follow. It has ALL the facilities The Yarra Valley is an amazing destination and so much to offer you wont be disappointed.

This place is amazing!!! Large spacious historic hotel nestled in Yering. Lots of wineries around include hot air balloon rides. To start off, we had lunch here and the dining area had gorgeous garden views as well as Yarra valley views. Very clean and decorated nicely with orchids and portraits. The food looked amazing and every bite was tastier and tastier. We had entrees, main food, as well as desserts. The beef brisket was aged for 17 hours and was so tender.The mackerel was surprisingly tasty and the eggplant was perfect. Perfect pairing with pickled shallots and mascarpone mousse. Their side dishes of Brussels sprouts and pumpkin was also quite tasty. Now on to desserts!!!! My favorite part of any meal. Let's just say the cappuccino cake with espresso and sweet & sour apple tart was equally superb. The apple tart looks like Snow Whites !!! Beautiful dish arrangement and the shortbread was good. Lime apple cinnamon cream was amazing. You open the core and there are even more yumminess inside. their cappuccino, cafe, and tea selections were good too. If I could I would give this place 6 !!!
