Chateau Yering Hotel

Spent 2 nights in a delightful room with character. Lovely dinner with specific mention to the Waiter on duty. Excellent service and the "chat" made us feel very welcome. Only one comment - we were after requesting something from the Reception desk on Sunday evening around 4.30 in the afternoon and there was no one there. Just as well it was not an emergency.

Absolutely AMAZING!! I had all my guests stay at this hotel for my wedding, and not only is the venue gorgeous, the staff are just wonderful & made us feel so special. Anne & Phil in particular are absolutely fabulous. Anne went above & beyond to make sure myself and all my guests were taken care of and to ensure the event ran smoothly. What an absolute asset they both are to the venue and just beautiful people. Thank you!!!

Great place, very relaxing. Staff welcoming, happily helped with all my queries. Wifi wasn't working on my first day but was quickly fixed. Comfortable bed, slept well, quiet location. Lovely bathroom with deep bath to soak in. I'm not a fan of huge shower heads hanging from the ceiling but if you like them you will love the shower.

Magnificent place to visit. From the moment you walk in, the magic begins. The place looks like a movie set from Downtown Abbey. Every detail is amazing. The decor is gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were beyond our expectations good. I don't think I could ever write anything well enough to describe how much we enjoyed it there. We will definitely return, too beautiful not too. Thank you Yering Estate.

Just had the most amazing, memorable experience staying at this place with my partner. Anne on the front desk made us feel so welcome and went absolutely above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could possibly be. The property is magnificent, the Stable Suite and Yarra Suites were simply beautiful, breakfast was amazing, ambience, location, grounds, interior, customer service - unforgettable. Thank you Anne. We will be back.

The room need a bit of up date the bed head was falling apart , the lady working for breakfast , she didn't what to be there we could feel it . She wasn't happy or friendly at all . There is a ghost there if you believe in them , herd some one with walking stick going up and down the hall way up stairs . My son heard a man voice , it was little scary, but was ok . The bed head was very losses needs some work , the room was very clean looked the part , but just needs little up dated that's all . The winey wine testing was amazing, wish l remember the young lady she was so good . The views omg so nice go & enjoy this place . The front desk lady was also very nice ..

The rooms need refurbishing. We've stayed several times previously and like the charm exuded by the property, but that has given way to outdated furniture and beds that are no longer comfortable. We could also see lots of places that required maintenance around the property. Work is needed to bring it back to the quality standard expected of the property.

Excellent hotel. The Edwardian decor of the hotel sets the scene for a romantic couple days away from the busy city lifestyle. Evening meals at the restaurant are excellent and relaxing in front of the fireplace after dinner with a glass of Yering Estate finished off a lovely night.

This place is amazing!!! Large spacious historic hotel nestled in Yering. Lots of wineries around include hot air balloon rides. To start off, we had lunch here and the dining area had gorgeous garden views as well as Yarra valley views. Very clean and decorated nicely with orchids and portraits. The food looked amazing and every bite was tastier and tastier. We had entrees, main food, as well as desserts. The beef brisket was aged for 17 hours and was so tender.The mackerel was surprisingly tasty and the eggplant was perfect. Perfect pairing with pickled shallots and mascarpone mousse. Their side dishes of Brussels sprouts and pumpkin was also quite tasty. Now on to desserts!!!! My favorite part of any meal. Let's just say the cappuccino cake with espresso and sweet & sour apple tart was equally superb. The apple tart looks like Snow Whites !!! Beautiful dish arrangement and the shortbread was good. Lime apple cinnamon cream was amazing. You open the core and there are even more yumminess inside. their cappuccino, cafe, and tea selections were good too. If I could I would give this place 6 !!!
