Chatham Bay

Very quiet anchorage, sandy bottom with good holding. I see that there are 2 mooring balls but don't have any info on them . We what's app a boat broker to checks us in ,at Chatham bay , that was great. There's not much to do there, but relax, swim snorkel, and hiking no provisions, no restaurants. But I sure liked it. It is fairly large bay with lots of room.

This place is charming and great for diving. We dived with Cousteau's Caribbean Diving and they were excellent, even rendezvous with our yacht. Very safety conscious and great gear, small groups and showed us sea horses, frogfish, sea slugs and a whole lot more. The beach bars are great and local, good food too with safe anchorage. This place should be a marine reserve!

Visited Chatham Bay for 2 nights mid March 2023. There were 10 boats moored. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. Be sure to check out Vanessa and Steckie’s Sunbeach Restaurant & Bar for the best food and service on the beach. Steckie will transport you to and from your yacht so need to get the dinghy out.

BEAUTIFUL! The island was bigger than I thought. We took a tour, very worth it.

Chatham Bay is a beautiful secluded bay with great anchorage.
