Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon

Amazing hotel! When visiting Yangon and finding a place to stay, this hotel is the one I recommend. The hotel is similar to a luxurious villa. There is a large area of land with beautiful trees and elegant decor. The entire building, including the rooms, corridors, swimming pool, reception are clean, tidy, and has a nice scent to them. This hotel also has trustworthy security(they'll assign you the card for your room and only by that card can you access the elevator and your respective room). The meals they offer are delicious (they offer morning buffet too!) The service and hospitality makes you feel like a king! Absolutely recommend this!!

Came to have breakfast here, and was pleasantly surprised at not just the quality of food, but also the service from wait staff. There was a wide variety to choose. The pratha and laksa especially were very authentic in flavour. I thoroughly enjoyed today's breakfast and will be back for more.|Thanks Rev and Leo!

Among all the high tea sets I’ve experienced, this one stands out as my favorite. The selection of pastries is generous, the sweetness is well-balanced, and the flavors are delightful. It’s both satisfying and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were even offered a welcome drink while we waited. Every team member—from the front desk to housekeeping—was friendly, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool and the incredible service that came with it. The staff at the pool area were attentive without being intrusive—they made sure we had fresh towels, checked in regularly to see if we needed drinks or snacks, and even helped us find the perfect shady spot during the hot afternoon sun.

Second time I stayed at this hotel. The room is old style hotel type but AC is very cool and the bed is comfortable- sometimes more comfortable than other new 5 star hotels. Service is really good. I asked for some dumbbells to workout in the room in the morning and they were trying to make it happen for me. I also requested to print out some documents and they also assist me very well. Can request late checkouts as well till 3 pm which is wonderful. Don’t expect modern facilities but good enough for the price.

Our 5 Years Anniversary at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon was perfect and Remarkable. Chinese Set Menu was nice taste & Event Decorations are very beautiful at Grandballroom .Staffs are very helpful & Smart. Specially thanks to Mr.Vincent, Htet Htet Aung and James. Thanks All Staffs. Overall, the staff are friendly and very accommodating, always wearing smiles on their faces. The food is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. We especially enjoyed their pork chop, sweet and sour pork, which really stood out. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and lively. l would definitely recommend this place to others and look forward to returning!

The hotel breakfast buffet was enjoyable and had a good variety of dishes. The food was fresh and tasty, with options for both sweet and savory preferences. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience pleasant, especially Alex, Stella, Mya, and David. Overall, it was a satisfying start to the day.
