Delightful local theater. I haven't been here for a while to see a show. If you have some time..go check out Memphis. It is superb!

This theatre center is magnificent in every way. The setting along the river is spectacular, the volunteers are amazingly efficient and cordial, and the parking is a bargain at $5. The performance of The Color Purple was absolutely perfect in every way. The voices of the cast took my breath away with their superior quality. The live music was excellent and the directing was superb. Chattanooga is so very fortunate to have people devoted to keeping this live performance treasure here. Wow. Wow. Wow!

We started watching shows here my son’s freshman year at UTC with CTC’s production of Newsies. He was cast as Laurie in Little Women his Senior year and loved it. He was Peter Pan during the opening of the 100th Season at CTC. He loves the CTC and we love seeing him thrive with this theatre community. Thank you CTC for providing a space for community theatre.

Attended for a rummage sale, my son started asking questions, and we were taken on a private tour. We went back later that evening for a live performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I love this theatre in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga! The workers are nice, and the theatre is lovely! I saw "Every Christmas Story Ever Told" last December, and tonight I saw "The Color Purple"! Every Christmas Story had me laughing, and The Color Purple BLEW ME AWAY! The performances by all the actors was incredible! It made me tear up at the end. If you live in Chattanooga, or are visiting, I definitely suggest seeing a play here! I look forward to seeing more!

We saw Little Women. The cast was fantastic. They do great shows. Everyone should try them. While you are there, see the riverfront, great places to eat around it.

I would love to see more options for sustainable, plastic-free concessions! I wonder if you all may be able to supply reusable cups, that theatergoers can choose, or even incentivize and communicate that theater-goers can bring their own reusable cups. Or of course you could provide compostable cups and also have special receptacles for those cups so that they actually get processed. By 2050, we are slated to have more plastic than fish in our oceans, and over 95% of the plastic that we try to recycle actually ends up in landfills, in incinerators, or our waterways. Plastics take hundreds of years to break down, and when they do, they break down into micro plastics that are poisoning our water and our food. It is up to venues, concessionaires, everyday people, and policy to wean us off of this destructive material. I wonder if your theater could take a step in making and keeping Chattanooga beautiful by reducing its plastics output. Thank you for your consideration, and for being a fantastic theater space!

Yelp
Overall this was a poor experience. From our arrival in the parking lot, the parking staff was extremely rude. When we pulled up to the lady taking money for the parking lot she said, "what are you here for?" We excitedly told her we were here to see the show. Her response, "$5." Once we got to the door with our tickets. The lady at the door stared at us. No greeting. She could have responded "Hey. Welcome in." or "Do you have tickets for tonight's show?" or "Can I get your last name for your ticket reservation?" She wanted us to say something first and just stared. Finally she said "your last name." We told her. Her response, "Ok." The show was mediocre and dry. Quite frankly, we considered leaving early. The main thing that was odd was how rude their entire front of house staff was.

Yelp
My second home! Most welcoming and friendly community. Productions are at professional level!!!!

Yelp
They never pick new talent. They are over priced for the shows they put on. And the talent isn't worth what they charge. It's like they have their favorite people, and that's it. So, same actors for every show. Also, their show choices are horrible, very outdated.

Yelp
I've been here to see 4 productions and I really love it! They do a great job of engaging the audience and in some shows even including them. The only suggestion I would make is that they accept plastic or Apple Pay at concessions.

Yelp
Took a friend and went to see The Royal Family on February 6th, 2016. If I use this particular production as the standard for all productions at the CTC, I will NEVER return!!! Everything about this show was horrible...save the young lady who played the maid. The casting, the characterizations, the costuming, the lack of comedic timing...It was horrible! During the first intermission, my friend asked me if we could leave. I was super relieved and immediately said yes. Both she and I took notice that approximately four or five other parties were leaving. It was nice to know that we were not the only persons with good taste.

Yelp
Excellent community-based theater organization. When you consider the majority of the work is done by volunteers, they do a fantastic job.

Yelp
Very entertaining and fun! Went to see a few of the youth theatre shows and the kids did really well and seemed like they had practiced a lot. Costumes were great, props were great, and all together the shows were enjoyable. A thanks to the stage managers for their work behind the set, the plays wouldn't function as well as they did without them. Looking forward to seeing the new shows in the 2017-2018 season. Great job CTC!

Yelp
The family saw frog and toad and the 5 yo twins were enthralled. My son wants to know if there is a sequel. Great production. Highly recommend.
