Chaweng Garden Beach Resort, Koh Samui

Great value stay in the heart of Chaweng. This large beachfront resort is ideally located in central Chaweng—just a short walk to Central Samui shopping mall, local shops, massage spots, bars, and plenty of restaurants. Being in such a central area, it's worth noting that some rooms may experience noise at night due to nearby clubs. Planes also fly quite low during the day, which can add to the background noise. The included breakfast offered a good variety, and the room was clean with a nice balcony equipped with a table and seating. The bathroom, however, was a bit dim and could use improved lighting. Overall, this resort offers great value for money and we would highly recommend it for travelers wanting convenience and easy access to everything Chaweng has to offer.

I have just completed a 5 nights stay at this wonderful resort. Everything was great. The staff were so nice and welcoming. The service was excellent. The location on the beach was beautiful and there were plenty of lounges. The pool was nice and 1.4m deep. There was a 2nd pool which I never used. The breakfast was excellent with an egg station including omelettes, poached eggs etc. My room was 426 which I was upgraded to. It was renovated and suited for a family of 4. The beach was excellent to swim in. I don't usually swim in the ocean, but I couldn't stay out of it here. The front of the hotel opened onto the bustling entertainment and restaurants which was handy. I'm a solo traveller and I enjoyed this stay. I have spent 32 nights in Thailand and this is my best stay so far.

We were able to check in early, which was very kind of the staff. Our room was spacious, clean and cool due to the excellent air con. All staff encountered were very good and hospitable. The location is brilliant right in the middle of everything but quiet enough to relax. The grounds were lovely and well kept. The beach was also very nice with soft sand and a warm sea. There were plenty of sun beds available. The planes which come over you soon get used to and don’t hear after a while. We never heard them while trying to sleep.

I have stayed at this hotel 5 times already and would not change it. The staff greeted us warmly, was assisted very quickly, and our baggage delivered to our rooms. We stayed in Room D14 and B14. These rooms are very close to the restaurant, the Monkey Pool Swim Up Bar (the have a drinks special in the afternoon and the lovely barman gives you peanuts to snack on) and the pool near to the beach. So, very conveniently situated. The bedrooms were spacious, 2 bottles of water a day was supplied - free of charge, an umbrella, hairdryer and a few refreshments which was in the fridge in case you needed it but that is chargeable. Shampoo, conditioner and soap was provided in the shower. The rooms were always clean. Swimming towels are provided at the pool when needed. Breakfast was plentiful with something for everyones needs. Coffee, tea, juices, Thai selection of food, bacon, eggs, cereal, breads, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, and a lot more. The hotel is situated next door to the Arc Bar. At no time did any noise from there disturb us. As you walk out of the hotel, on the right hand side is a basic cafe that you can get beers, cold drinks, ice cream etc. - very convenient. There is a restaurant called Galanga on the opposite side of the road which I recommend highly. We found a lovely taxi driver which we would hire her either for the day or a few hrs. Everything is within reach, whether it be the Central Festival Shop - you can get everything there that you need or the local bars and places to buy clothes. The staff at the hotel was always helpful - you could ask them to phone for a taxi or a hotel- and at no trouble they would assist you. I cannot find a fault. Even Sue the elderly lady that owns the hotel would take her walk everyday and greet everyone to say how she appreciated us staying there.|Do not hesitate to stay at this stunning hotel. Thank you to all the staff that made us feel special. We werent just a number.|Rooms We stayed in D14 and B14 - very near the restaurant, the pool near the beach and the Monkey Upswim bar. Very convenient.|Nearby activities: Massages offered at the pool near the beach. Jet ski which we also used with no problem just a short walk from the beach.|Safety Felt: extremely safe at the hotel.|Walkability: We within walking distance to shops, The Central Festival, taxis right outside the hotel, bars. I would say we were in the centre of everything.|Food and drinks: The hotel provided a variety of food at breakfast. There was always something for everyone. You can have lunch and dinner there too. Dinner is set out on the beach which was amazing. A restaurant which I can recommend is directly across the road as you walk out of the hotel on the left hand side called Galanga.|Noteworthy details" We also made use of the massage place across the road on the left hand side - did not do massages but had our hair washed and blow dryed which they did an amazing job.|Thank you to all the staff that are always so friendly and helpful. |See you next time Helen Barnard, Vanessa Udell and Daniel Barnard

Just stayed a week at Chaweng Garden Beach Resort in a family room. Awesome location, spacious rooms, friendly staff and an ambient setting. Great value too. Thx to Meen at the pool bar for exceptional service, always with a smile. The massages poolside/beachside are very convenient. Will definitely return!

Excellent hotel and spotless. Great area and walking distance to everything. Bar staff were great as were all of the staff. I’d to go to hospital at one point in an emergency and they took me themselves and also offered a lift home. Breakfast was amazing. Absolutely amazing.

The staff were all so happy and friendly. The food was all delicious and good price. We had a pool view room and was very quiet at night. The swim up bar was always welcoming on these hot days. You get to meet the resident squirrel Bob. Lots of sellers on the beach which made it interesting watching. Fresh corn 🌽 cooked on coconut was superb. Would definitely recommend this resort.

One of the best hotels I have ever been! I didn’t have high expectations maybe because pictures cannot really show how beautiful and peaceful this place is. The food was very good, we chose to have dinner here every night as everything was tasty and fresh. I would absolutely reccomend!
