Chaweng Regent Beach Resort

A very nice hotel. Location is perfect: right at the beginning of Chaweng do you can walk down the whole street in one direction. Also the beach is really nice and clean. Staff is extremely nice and helpful - we feel totally safe and welcome here. Prices might be a little high but hey: it's a four star hotel, what do you expect. Only downside might be the airplanes... But to be honest, you get used to them and it is actually pretty cool seeing them flying right above your head . Other than that it is actually pretty quite, specially considering that it's right in the touristy party zone. What note can I say: go there to see for yourself... I can recommend it!

Our private waiter was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel truly special throughout the entire evening. And the food—simply out of this world. The chef crafted a culinary experience that completely exceeded our expectations. Every dish was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor—the best food we’ve ever had, without a doubt. This wasn’t just dinner, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We had a bad start to the trip when on a late arrival we were allocated a very smallTwin room when the booking had King on it. The staff reverted the room to a king bed however we were too exhausted to deal with it. The following morning I contacted my travel agent, then spoke to reception and had us moved to a better room. Once that was sorted we had a lovely time here. Room was spacious, the pools were lovely. The swim up bar was well used. It was a reasonably quiet period but pools were busy. I would imagine its hard to get a lounger in busy periods. Especially as people bag a lounger then dont come back to the pool till much later. Resort is right on the beach however it does have the offshore reef which keeps it quite shallow esp at low tide but its only a short walk down the beach to a more open area. Would return again.

Did a 1 night stay as my 1st night into town. Very close to the Airport and right near the edge of downtown. Excellent service, especially recall the welcome / rest area while check-in was processing (cool fragrances towel, light welcome drink). More modern rooms than most places on KS. Appealing aesthetic throughout. Appealing, modern styled pool area.

Review for couples!!! I wish I had read this before booking! The hotel has very good facilities, the staff are nice and too permissive to some guests which take advantage. Unfortunately the „type“ of guests here were only big families with many kids screaming/fighting and splashing water.The sea is very shallow in front of the hotel so one can’t swim. Thats also a bummer because your other choice is the pool with screaming kids. If you are a couple looking for some relaxing time try some adult only hotel in this area or go more south of the island.

We stayed at this resort for 11 days in late April. My wife and i and my 3 late teeboys. The staff are really friendly and nothing is a problem. The resort is so clean the staff are cleaning from early morning to late at night. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The food and the cocktails in the beach bar were also great. My wife did the yoga classes ,all free of charge and said they were brilliant. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel is located at the beginning of the main cheweng strip, soo loads of bars and restaurants in walking distance . I fully recommend staying at this hotel

Loved our stay here in March/april 25 and will return one year. Location right on the beach is superb. Walk out the front and you have the main road through Cheweng with eateries, markets, shops, massage parlours galore. We were worried if it was going to be too lively for us but we absolutely loved it. Ark bar a short walk along the beach, fire shows every night. Breakfast was ok and acceptable. The staff were superb. Depending on the tide depends on how much beach is available outside the hotel. So some days we had no beds on the beach which was disappointing. But yeah, loved the location and the area. Oh, low flying planes from 7am till 9pm. Chaweng is right underneath the flight path to the airport. Again it didn’t bother us during our 11 night stay. It was cool to see.

We stayed here for a friends wedding. The resort is super clean, staff were super friendly, food and drinks onsite were great. The wedding was incredible, massive standouts to the food and all the effort that went into the day. The only downside was the music and bass from nearby clubs was extremely loud and continued until around 5am every night. While we expected some noise given the location in the party area, this was well beyond what we anticipated. It made sleeping very difficult, and we had to rely on noise-cancelling headphones just to get some rest. It’s definitely something to be aware of for future guests
