The best authentic Mexican food we've had all week in Cancun! Everything we ordered was amazing, our server was responsive and helpful. The menu is in Spanish but the fine print is an English and describes what's in everything. So your set either way! I got the beef fajitas, all the soups were amazing, my kids raved over the green enchiladas, and the pineapple, water and lemonade were hits! We will come back again and again!

Amazing pozole. Really great small authentic Mexican food outside of the tourist traps. Large lunch for less than $300 MXN. The service was fantastic.

The food was ok, I had some chicken I was recommended. Not a good place if you don't eat meat my girlfriend (vegetarian) had hardly any options. The staff was incredibly friendly on the plus side! Really nice

We came based on guide book recommendation as a restaurant we must go to if we can go to only one restaurant in Cancun. Can't really understand. If was okay but nothing special. I had better food in Tulum.

One day in Cancun, my GF and I hired a private tour guide and personal driver for an all day shopping spree in Cancun -- we visited many shopping plazas, malls, and even the downtown Cancun Walmart. Our tour guide took us here for lunch and we asked them to join us for lunch on us. I had a couple of beers and my GF had a couple of margaritas. She ordered chicken quesadillas and I ordered Costilla con Queso (chopped skirt steak with onions and queso melted on it). Both of our guests order the skirt steak meal -- our tour guide (a woman) ordered the small sized skirt steak meal and our driver (a young guy) ordered the large size skirt steak meal. His meal was pretty huge with refried beans, rice, guacamole, and tortillas. My GF could only eat 2/4 of her quesadillas so she gave him her other two. I think he was happy and enjoyed his big lunch! It was all pretty good and inexpensive. We have no complaints.

Had one of the most delicious family dinners in Mexico here. The Checanpollo (chicken with onion, poblano chilli and tortilla - around $6 US) was delicious as were the Chalupas (Four tortilla stuffed with beans, lettuce, cheese and tomato (served with a choice of beef, chicken or beans - around $4 US). The kids were happy too. It is in the city part of Cancun, approximately 1km west of the ADO bus station - well worth the effort to get there! Open noon until after dinner (Lonely Planet says 8pm but it was open until later when we were there).
