Just encountered a young man who was so rude and refused to take our order after we sat and waited at the speaker for 8-10 min and honked. He stated he didn’t hear us and still refused to take the order. The manager couldn’t even make him take the order. This place seems to be run by kids and people who don’t have the ability to even function properly. It’s fast food not rocket science. Please get a new crew and adequate supervision for later shifts. These people are going to run your business into the ground.

I called Checkers & Rally's about 4 to 5 times today just to cancel an order I made by mistake. I first called the store that I ordered for pick-up and they told me that they cannot cancel the order thus I have to call Doordash to cancel the order. I told them that I didn't order through Doordash platform. I went to Checkers' & Rally's website to order the Combo. I did a little research and found corporate's number and called them. I talked to 1 of the representative. He told me to give him the order number. I gave him the order number (Your receipt Order #e8164907). The representative told me that the order number suppose to have 16 digits, but this is what I got from Checker's & Rally's (Your receipt Order #e8164907). He then transfered me to Doordash. Doordash has no order with that order number. I hung up and called corporate again. The same representative answered and told me that he cannot refund me because I simply wanted to order something else. I still did not get my refund. I didn't even bother to go get the foods. I want my refund so bad.

"Never again" is how my family feels after visiting this location. First of all, there's no person taking your order in the drive-through. It's a voice activated ordering system with no screen to verify your order. It also doesn't repeat your order, so you just have to wait til you get to the window to see if they got it right. We were in line for 30 minutes, and once you're in, there's no way to get out. But the food was terrible and not worth the wait to drive back to get anything fixed or a refund. Chicken tenders were old and dried out. 2 of 3 of them ended up in the trash. The cheese champ burger didn't have the right size beef patty, and the toppings were old and soggy. The people working seemed nice. The fries were crispy, and the fruit punch slushies were good. But not good enough to make it worth the $40+ and 30+ minute wait for the other inedible food.

The food service was good. The young lady was sweet, but you can tell she was ready to go. I only ordered the fried apple pies and the banana shake delicious. That’s pretty much all I’ll get from there. I don’t like the cinnamon on the pies. I think it would be better to ask with cinnamon the no cinnamon is so much better so I wouldn’t have to wait for fresh pies to be dropped when I come every time it’s an 10 minute wait that’s the only bummer for me.

Excellent customer service nice and clean. Greatly recommend this place.

I ordered two double checker burgers from their both of them were singles tried to call and complain their voicemail is full nobody answers doordashed food from there was supposed to get two double burgers got two single burgers again and it took 2 hours. Gave them a third try because my son loves checkers same thing. Singles instead of doubles won't answer phone. All 3 times I've gone to that location they can't get order correct. Sad not hard to read orders . I can see one time doing it wrong but not every time I've gone there. Then when you go back with the receipt they won't do anything for you. Call corporate the day of doordash because the doordasher waited there for 2 hours for one order and still haven't heard back from corporate. Also ordered two of the $5 meals they have their ordered burgers and got spicy barbecue chicken sandwiches which nobody could even eat so my dogs enjoyed the 2 meals.

The Buford Bites were a 5/10. They aren't the worse, but the breading tastes like an unseasoned, thin, fried tortilla. The filling has a hint of mustard, but is juicy. The fish sandwich is 4/10. The crust is flat and unseasoned and the fish tastes frozen to order. The chicken tenders were just ok, I would not order them again. But, the Big Buford and fries are delicious.

The cheese was salty, the bacon on my loaded fries looked old as if I got the last crumbs of the package, surprisi g thw bacon was soft because it looked as if it was overcooked, banana shake was okay but not at first couple of sips. I loved the chili tho.

I ordered a #3 (bacon cheese burger). I got a regular burger. The service was good and people food was tasty. The banana shakes were not available. This was the first time I had ever ate at a Checkers and was a little bit disappointed. I will try it again because this was a new restart and I understand that bugs need to get worked out.

I don't care what nobody says, Checkers sometimes just hits the spot. Maybe it's the nostalgia but Checkers has always come in clutch for me. I was so stoked to find one when we moved here. We've been a couple times now and every time it has been great. The food is fresh, the customer service is fast, accurate, and nice. My last visit, I asked for a few customizations and the employee even offered to bundle my items as a meal to save some money. Everything was hot and fresh, quality flavor. I was given the wrong drink by accident and that was quickly corrected. No fuss needed. This location is usually fairly busy and a little difficult to get into. So either bring a friend and benefit from that double drive thru or even consider the walk-up option just inside. Either way, the staff will be able to serve you quickly!

The worst looking burgers and not even close to what we ordered. Why does the patty look so gray?

I burgers are if you pick the Big Buford with the checkers fries and and strawberries malt are delicious and you should get a chance to try the food and they have a really good apple pie

Super disappointed in the burgers. Chili cheese fries were good. The fried apple pies were a nice treat. If it were not for tje fries and pies I would not been able to give them a score.

Too bad - because I have a soft spot for Rally's (Checkers) from childhood. But THIS location should be avoided at all costs. When I went there directly, the location of the drive through speaker is stupid, so they can't hear you and you have to repeat yourself. The funnel cake fries didn't have any powdered sugar (for some reason in this area the fast food doesn't believe in restocking properly). The food was good but took forever to get done. Ordering through Grubhub - FORGET IT. Their system is screwed up, they won't get the order and you won't know it until the driver goes to the store only to find out they don't know what's going on. That's a store issue. And GrubHub is the only delivery service they use, so that's even worse.

When I pulled up it was an AI I was speaking to and it didn't understand one thing I was saying so I had to repeat myself 20 times and when I get my food I got stuff I didn't order and I had told the worker that it wasn't right and he took 30 minutes and some random guy comes up to my window asking for money and I said I didn't have any and he was standing outside breathing on my window for abt 10 minutes and starts reaching and I saw a handgun so I pulled off TERRIBLE AREA

I have driven past this place many times and I always wondered what they were about so I stopped by for lunch. Could there be a worse drive through on the face of the earth, really it had to be 20 minutes from start to finish. The drive through is enough to keep me from ever going back here again but they do have a passenger side drive through window which I have never seen before and it was empty. This place has just about everything from burgers, dogs, chicken etc with a variety of mix and match meal options with cool drink options, a generic sonic kind of place. They do have some different ideas for there sandwiches compared to the competition chains with were wacky combinations. I would try the crispy mushroom steak burger $5 lunch with a fry and a drink. The burger was silly with shaved steak, beef patty, Swiss cheese, seasoned mayo, grilled onions and crispy breaded mushrooms if that was what I got. What I actually received was some bacon burger instead because what I ordered doesn't have bacon in it so I don't even know what burger it was, see my pictures. Way to go checkers on your first impression. The bacon was so soggy that the whole strip was coming out with one bite so I used my fingers to try and keep most of it in the burger. The shaved steak on the burger was that weird kind that MC'DS steak egg and cheese bagel has. This burger didn't work for for me at all. The frys were kind of ok because they looked seasoned/battered. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Visually they looked golden brown and seasoned but they were not big on seasoned flavor after all. It was all bark and no bite but the best part of the $5 lunch deal. They seem to be trying to offer a craft style burger on the cheap with cheap ingredients which doesn't work for me so I would rather get like a kopps kind of cheap burger if I wanted a cheap burger. Over all this place is not for me but at least I know what checkers is. I could see the appeal for people because they have a different take on sandwiches and frys so if you have never been there check them out.

1. Checkers is better than average fast food. The boneless wings are better than you get at BW3. They have a zillion burger options, most of them better than what you get at Burger King or McDonalds (not nearly as good as Culvers or Kopps). And they have MALT FRIES which are my wife's favorite type of fries. 2. This location is in the hood, which means it's always packed, there's always a wait, and sometimes people are rude. 3. They forgot half my order one time, I tweeted their account, and they were VERY GOOD about replacing it, giving us some extra food, and in general offering great customer service.

Typical they forget to put bar-b-cue in the bag so I had to eat them dry at work. This isn't the first time it happens.

Never eaten at Checkers before and will now will never try it. I attempted to go through the drive-thru last night 9/2/20 at approx 7pm at the location on Capitol and the young lady who attempted to take my order was absolutely the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life. I was simply trying to order 2 meals and in the middle of ordering she cut me off and started to read back stuff that I didn't even order. When I tried to correct her and re-order the correct meals she again cut me off and said your getting this and gave me a total and told me to pull forward. When I tired to get her attention to correct the order again there was no response. I simply backed out of the drive-thru and went to another establishment that cares about their customers and has employees who take pride in their jobs.

I'm giving this location a 1 start because my order was incorrect, the drive thru attendant had a horrible attitude and my food was thrown together.

Hate waiting in the drive through here so I decided to go inside. There I waited for 15 minutes trying to get someone's attention and they simply didn't acknowledge I was waiting. Walked out and never going back. This place is basically a bunch of ignorant high school kids who will probably be there for a week before they quit. Go anywhere else

This is a Must DO for me whenever i visit Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'm from the north suburbs in illinois and there is not a single checkers in my area. (which i guess is a good thing because if i were to eat this stuff everyday I'd probably die prematurely!) I LOVE Checkers. I especially love their fries!!! Like most checkers establishments, i like how they have dual ordering drive thru menus and pick up windows and the service here is pretty quick. I only wished they had more of these chains in Illinois :(

Food is killer for fast food. However I would not call the food fast, took like 15 min. People in the kitchen are having a good time, but my order was correct and everything was fresh. I'd say it's definitely worth the wait but know you need to know what you're in for. Fries, chicken, and fish were amazing.

I was shocked at how fast my food came. And everything on my order was correct hot and fresh. Appreciate that.

It's checkers. I purchased the kid's meal, because I'm cheap. The food was okay. Would I go back? Yes Would it be my first choice? No

Went in to (at 6:00 PM) order because drive-thru has been notoriously slow. 25 minutes from order to receiving my food. Only 2 people in each drive thru line and 4 (loud, obnoxious) people inside. I like the food, just not what I have to endure to get it.

I was super hungry so I swung by Checkers on Capital near 76th Street as I love their burgers and fries. There was a line (it's drive trough only, 2 lines) but I figured it's worth the wait. I finally got to the sign to order, and was immediately informed it was a cash only lane, that I'd have to loop through (waiting for the cars ahead of me to get their orders) and then get back in line again but use the other lane. After patiently waiting a while more, I was at the window so I told the employee they should probably put up a sign informing customers that it is a cash only lane to prevent them from needlessly waiting to order if they chose that lane and intended to use credit or debit card and did not have cash. Her response was a rude, "You're holding up the line!" So I drove on and did not go around to wait in the other line all over again. I'd rather stay hungry. I will not return to that Checkers location in the future despite it's close proximity to my place of employment. But I will still frequent other Checkers locations if they have good service as I do love their burgers and fries.

Placed order at 6:29 pm on the 6th of May.  Not a friendly order taker but wayyyy better than the usual order taker. Arrived at window by 6:42 pm. Took payment, no thank you or greeting at 6:42 pm. Got food at 6:46 pm. No name tags but thank you, come again was said. Outside was quite filthy.  Ketchup on the building, sidewalk with him and various sauces stuck to it and, glass in desperate need of some attention.  The food always tastes good but the​ fries may not always be hot.

First time here. I've never been to a slower drive thru. Line of 4 cars. I've been in line or waiting for at least 20 min. Leaving the review while still waiting. Even if the food ends being great, I still won't be back.

I went here a few days ago with my daughter and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast food drive thru. I was there for at least 25 minutes IN THE DRIVE THRU. I've spent less time in a Great America rollercoaster line. The food is quality, but if I had gone there on my lunch break I would be disciplined by my job. There was no apology and the person at the window wasn't even personable. I guess for them this is normal. No business should be run this poorly and no one be held accountable.

I waited a long time (over 2 years) before writing this review in the hopes things would change. This has to be the absolute worst fast food establishment in the Milwaukee area. After sitting for over 40 minutes (yes, you read this correctly!) in line, yet again, I received rude service and my entire order was wrong. There were two cars in front of me. 40+ minutes for two cars?!? I love Checkers food, and that is why I have gone back countless times at various times in the day or evening. The result is always the same. Terrible service, no sense of urgency and something is always wrong. It was so bad today that I called their corporate headquarters WHILE IN THE DRIVE THROUGH LINE, and had an 9 minute conversation and still moved nowhere. I take their surveys on the receipt every time and constantly mention the slow service and orders being incorrect, and nothing happens. I doubt my corporate complaint will go anywhere either. I have wasted so much money on food that is not what I ordered/wrong that this was the final straw for me. This location is absolutely terrible and I would recommend it to no one. This place sucks.

The absolute worst fast food experience EVER!Sent my son there to get food for an impromptu birthday lunch.Order was incomplete.When we asked it be rectified,staff was not only uncooperative,but extremely rude.No manager available.No satisfaction.Even complained to corporate and they never acted on a promise of a refund.Horrible.

The customer service is ok It would be nice if everyone would wear a cap or something over there head and also groom their heads everyone looks like they just got done shooting 3 hours of pool with pooky and also if they were to put on some gloves instead of touching everyones food with their bare hands that would be nice but the food is great only two hairs in my food so yea....
