Checkers

Today the service was alot better since they replace the young lady from drive-thru. She didn't have such a great customer service spirit. I understand we all go through somethings but please don’t take it out on the customers.

We went to Checkers because we came in town from Colorado and hadn't been to Florida in 5 years so we looked forward to having a checker burger. We tried to order by getting out of the truck and walking up to the window. We waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the window to take our order. After watching car after car go through drive thru, we decided to get into our truck and go through drive thru to get our meal. We pull up to the window and the girl asks us "Whatchooo won't"? Which I'm guessing means What do you want? At that point , we just pulled out of drive thru and left without finishing our order. The outside of the place is gross and the people there are worse. We went on down the road to good ol' Burger King and it was delicious. We are very disappointed in how we were treated after choosing this one Checkers to try to fulfill a craving of a Checker burger. What a disaster and disappointment.

1040 on a Thursday night. 3 people made eye contact with me at the walk up window. Ignored for 5 minutes. Then what appears to be a manager walks to the window with attitude shaking her head at me talking about "whatchoo trying to get?" Food, lady. You don't close til midnight according to Google AND the signage on the building. Then hands me my food and slams the window with attitude again. Owners need to get their staff in check. Fix the hours and lose the attitude. ...and the burger is cold

I haven’t been to this Checkers in a while, before it was oh I refuse to go bc whoever was in drive thru would say back up and pull forward, Checkers did reach out to me about that and when my coworkers would go I would ask did they make you pull back and then back up? At first it was like yes and as time went on they completely stop and for that I’m glad Checkers followed through with that. And my visit the other day was an awesome Ashlunn was extra friendly and my food was hot and fresh and she made me aware that it would be a minute and for that I was ok, and PLEASE let Ashlunn know that customers do notice and appreciate her friendly attitude and the customer service which is hard to find now days! I ordered the garlic Parmesan loaded fries minus the bacon since I don’t eat meat. Overall Ashlunn made me want to come back! Keep up the great work. Melinda. Btw anyone that wants water there is a .76 charge. Can’t even get water for FREE but oh well

It enjoy this location only because of the mature aged lady that been at multiple locations over the years. She's nice but firm and gets your orders out without a long wait.

Food was great! went during lunch time and it didn’t take long at all. Love checkers and this location you can tell is being run well. Wish there was still one in Pensacola. Will return!

Their burgers are absolutely amazing and the fries are so so good!!!!! They are literally the best drive-thru restaurant!!!!! So much better than Sonic!!!!!

I want to shoutout the lady who takes orders at the drivethru. She runs this Checkers like the Navy. I'm always amazed by how much she can multi-task. She is so sweet and clearly a hard worker! Food is always fresh and hot. Great service here!!

My friend that was with me and she ordered her food online, I waited and ordered once I got there. The lady that took my order was extremely professional and very nice. The food was delicious and nice and hot! I'm sure the place was clean but I couldn't see from the window. She was very attentive and even suggested an apple pie. I think customer service is very important, #1 in fact

I have always and will always love checkers, but this experience was something different. Last night, I walked to grab food from this checkers. It wasn't in the part of town so definitely factor that in when deciding to go here. However, my friends and I got served but a worker named Darnell. Darnell was absolutely incredible. A very sweet and kind gentleman. He was very gracious when addressing me. He even apologized for how long the food took, despite the fact that this was the fastest I had ever received food from any checkers ever. On top of the service being phenomenal the food was just as spectacular as it always is.

Better watch them. The food is what you should expect to pay but that's the biggest problem with this one and the one on D.I.P., they're constantly trying to over charge for what is ordered. I only ordered the 2 for $3.00 chili dogs and it was only after I confronted the cashier about the price discrepancy that she mumbled some lame excuse before correcting the "mistake". This was NOT the first time they have made this very same kind of mistake (at multiple locations) so watch them folks. They'll rip you off if you give Rally's or Checkers half a chance.

TERRIBLE!!! I have never had such a terrible experience. Ordered 2 burgers that were to be "dry" meat cheese and bread and ordered one with lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and mayo. ALL 3 were wrong as well as the food temp was BARELY warm!! I don't usually give reviews but could not let this one slide. I likely will never eat at a checkers again. Smh!

One of the best Checker Experiences I have had. I use to have one in a town I lived in, and while traveling I ran across this one! The reviews were not good, and I was going to almost skip this when I saw it on yelp. I am glad I didn't, I came through at 11:00 PM on a Saturday night and it was the nicest people very polite and respectful. Everything was great! Thanks again guys!

These employees are the nicest I have ever met! Always willing to help. Now the manager needs to step it up because they were out of catsup once but they put some in a cup for me. Like I said they do whatever they takes to make you happy.

Another fast food fast nope....food cold when u get it and employees like to stare at their customers in the drive through.....no thanks...I don't like the fact it took me over 15min to get food.

Price was nice, but not impressed. They forgot to give me my ice cream. I had to ask after I got my order. After all that...I got back to my hotel to find out I was missing three pies that should of came with my meal. Seriously, how can you have a four for $3 and not give someone their full order?
