Love to see the fish tank!!! Makes a Great atmosphere... Sat in the bar area close to the kitchen. Service was fantastic !!!! Ordered the onion ring appetizer - so glad they are back. Missed them. I do wish that they were available as a side item though. But it is still worth the money and it does make it special as an appetizer. Portions of our food and price paid were more than reasonable. The manager stopped at our table, while making his rounds. Very awesome place to visit in Avon!!!

My country fried chicken looked good but had enough salt to supply the Monterey Bay Aquarium, it was terrible. Very noisy and packed

Very fun dinner with the moms group!!!I had the key west chicken and grilled shrimp over rice,salad,and green beans. At the start,the staff was very pleasant, and brought us these warm butter croissants. So good I would recommend them highly.

Went to Cheddar's in Avon Indiana on my wife's birthday. When we pulled up we wonder why the parking lot was empty, and we soon found out. As we were being seated at the first booth, we couldn't sit down because of how dirty the booth was. The second and third booth were the same but we set together on one side at the third booth, because it was getting embarrassing. After the waitress took our drink order and brought out some croissant, my wife's went to open her napkin to get her knife to cut the croissant, the knife had booger looking crust substance on both sides. After that we notice the walls of the booth were splashed with white substance that could've been anything. The floor was dirty, the table ziosk machine was disgusting and yes we cancelled our order and left. When leaving we were searching for our waitress only to walk to far into the kitchen to see a kitchen that shouldn't be qualified or certified to feed people. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of that!!!

We come here all the time. This is one of our favorite Cheddar's on the west side of Indy. We use the app to add our name to the wait list ahead of time. That is a clever move I wished more restaurants embraced. It's always clean. We love sitting in the main dining room next to the fish tank. The staff is always so friendly and the Croissants come out so fast! Definitely recommend the Steak and Tenders meal for lunch hour. Full rack of ribs is a great choice too.

This meal was good and affordable, but the emphasis was definitely too much on sugar for my taste. If you care about blood sugar levels... this dish is probably not for you.

Dined in, wasn't a pleasant experience. Greeter was awesome sat us at the table, was very pleasant. Customer service from waiter was non existent. No greeting just took order brought food and that was it. No refills or anything, if we needed anything we just went without. Didn't ask if we needed to go containers or provided any other service. Any food we had left we just left it. I paid on the machine at the table and that was that. Food was excellent but customer service made the overall experience not good. Would I return? The jury is still out on that. (Updated 2/9/25) Decided to try it again after not coming for over a year. We was pleasantly surprised. Customer service was good. Food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back.

I came here on a date and just overall had an amazing experience. I come here often for celebrations and birthdays, and I always get amazing service. This time, Ayla was our waitress, and she was polite the whole time and didn’t overwhelm us by coming over a lot, but always remained attentive. Can’t wait to come back here soon!

Good service and good food I recommend chicken finger platter or chicken Alfredo for a good Time

Hamburger was definitely not made from scratch. More like a frozen pre firmed burger. The best thing about the restaurant was our waiter. Not a satisfying eating experience. But our waiter was excellent. (Tyler S).

I believe almost everyone is familiar with Cheddars. But my biggest point in this restaurant is that it's extremely affordable. If you're on a budget and looking to take the family out to dinner, Cheddars is your place to be. I received a 22oz bone in ribeye with two sides for only $22. Sides being a loaded potato and a side salad. I also chose a cup of loaded potato soup which was delicious along with their spinach dip. The dip was very flavorful and seasoned. All choices on the menu are very well priced. Even their cocktails. They had a Tito's and cranberry for only $4.99! Lol. All of their other specialty drinks are reasonable as well. If I recall correctly, nothing being over 10 bucks. We were a party of 9 who had set a reservation but 45mins after our scheduled time, we still didn't have a table cause other customers hadn't left yet. So they pushed together a few tables in the bar area for us. Which was fine. Our waitress did an amazing job serving us and the food came out extremely quick. Cheddars is definitely a solid choice whenever you're in the area.

My family and I went there on Easter, there were about nine of us and hands down, this was my worst restaurant experience I've had in this city. The waiter was new, we found out at the end, which is fine but communication is key. Everything from the wait for drinks, to place our order, to get our appetizers and food was terrible. About half of the orders were wrong and the steaks were absolutely terrible. The meat was way over cooked and seemed gray in color and seemed like it was frozen because it was watery? Disgusting, I sent mine back and it was a 20 minute wait and it wasn't any better. I could go on and on but I will never go there again.

We were super hungry on a Sunday evening back in Jan and we decided to try cheddar's for the first time. For a chain restaurant we actually appreciated the 'homemade' taste of the food they have great croissants too! We had chicken dijo and an 8oz grilled steak. Ambiance was quiet and cozy for a Sunday evening. Service was alright they forgot to grab our orders after quite sometime but we totally understood the hour was not the best either so I'm sure the service is very good on other times of the day. I would give it another chance next time! Overall lots of good food we had leftovers for sure

Well let's start of by saying this was the worst service and food we have had. My Wife ordered white fish supposed to be blackened she only had one bite and pushed it away. 20 mins later she was throwing up and got sick all the way home. We did tell the waitress the the fish was not right. Also another one in my party got sick as well. We waited for drinks and waited for are food my order was wrong supposed to be grilled chicken wrap but came out crispy that's not the end of the world but was just another part of the bad experience We got are salads the same time as the food we were seated and a very small table for 9 people. You know paying good money for food and service not a problem but we your cheated out of both it makes it difficult to want to eat out. What is wrong with people in the food industry who don't care about what it taste like or the service I would not go back if they gave me a gift card. This location needs some serious help. Someone call Ramsey or the health department.

My full rack of ribs were simply AMAZING!!! I had them about 3-4 times over the years an each time they are really good. But the last time I had them they were even better. I thought about the review after I devoured the ribs...lol

Made a reservation and waited close to an hour past our time to be sat. The waitress was awesome but the food was just okay. Soup was room temp when it arrived and food seemed bland. Probably won't ever go back.

Met for lunch with friends. The food was good as our server was excellent. I wish I had asked his name so I can request him in the future.

I'm giving a 5-star review to our waiter, Tyler who was so kind and patient with us this past Saturday afternoon. My family came here for lunch after my daughter's Pre-K graduation and we were seated almost immediately. Our 3 and 4 year old girls were verrryyy cranky most of our time there, and we almost left a couple of times due to them being so unhappy. Tyler was very accommodating, never seemed annoyed or frustrated and he was very attentive with checking on us often. Our food was good and we enjoyed the croissants. I left off one star because we asked for a table for 7 and they seated us in a booth that barely accommodated 6 adults. So we had to hold one of our daughters on our lap the whole time which wasn't comfortable to eat. I also wished they offered kids menus where they could color to keep them occupied while waiting for our food.

Awesome place! Love the croissants love the food and super great service all 3 times I've been there. The Wisconsin cheddar bites are AWESOME!

I recently dined at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen and was a bit disappointed with the food. While the restaurant prides itself on using fresh, scratch-made ingredients, the dishes I tried were mediocre at best. The flavors were not very pronounced and the dishes lacked that special touch that makes them stand out. However, I must say that the customer service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Despite the subpar food, the great customer service made the dining experience much more enjoyable. Overall, while the food may not have been the highlight of my visit to Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, the exceptional customer service made up for it. If you're looking for a place with great service and decent food, this may be a good option.

Horrible service and horrible food! My food came ice cold! She asked if I wanted it heated up or made new! I said heat it up because I didn't want to wait any longer as it had already taken forever! But no she had them remake it and it took forever and my husband had eaten his entire meal and we still waited! I had stood up to get ready to leave and it comes! So I told her my husband was done eating and she snarkily said she would take it off the bill! I tried to eat it but the food (Alfredo) was watery and had zero taste! I left the majority uneaten! I ate some of the shrimp but could not eat the pasta as it was sooo bad! So a long wait to order, a long wait to get food, cold food then late again then horrible food! Will not be going to Any Cheddars again because they always disappoint! Lesson learned and to the hateful waitress...I hope you have the day you deserve!

The food is really good and fast. Also the service is very nice and fast I do recommend. And the lighting is a normal brightness this is a restaurant I would go to. And if it is your bday they give you a big chocolate

I normally order the number 8 special. Named for cheddars sponsorship of the number 8 nascar cup car. It chicken tenders with two sides and sauce. This time I order fresh broccoli and red beans and rice. I picked bqq ad buffalo for dipping sauce Food was a little bit slow to come out. Chicken was good but had a bit of hard crunchy pieces I couldn't eat. Everything else was good.

There are a couple of things on the menu that I enjoy, but for the most part, I find it hard we were very worried to try anything else that sounds good. I do go once in a while.

Nice American lunch and dinner spot. Easy for anyone to find something to order. VERY limited menu due to Covid right now. Served delicious, honey croissants before the meal arrived. However, they only bring one per person and you have to pay for any additional croissants. I ordered the grilled chicken and pecan salad with blackened salmon instead of chicken. Very delicious and a good portion. A lot of my family members ordered the chicken tenders. They were happy with the chicken, but the southern green beans and seasoned rice were not very appetizing. Go with the fries!! Overall, average restaurant with good service!

I don't care for the food or selection here. I just love the croissants. The broccoli cheese side dish is good too but they are stingy with it. There are many things to choose from though.

Good meal, typical of a.chain restaurant. Kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and our meals were also were good. Nice decor, service was good and they are following COVID restrictions.

Good food as always! Loved the new honey hot for the chicken fingers platter. The chips and queso were good but definitely need more queso or serve with salsa. The chicken pot pie was delicious with the flaky crust and fresh vegetables. Highly recommend. Overall a great place to eat that won't break the bank.

When someone calls the day before their intended arrival to make a reservation, you could save your guests much uncertainty and frustration if you tell them then that it really doesn't do any good, that you must still join the wait list online. On a positive note, once we did finally were seated the server did a fantastic job. Also the food was very well prepared. So that portion of our experience would rank 4 out of 5. But sadly you get marked down due to poor communication.

Avon is full of chains, but they are easy to get my aunt in and out of and she is so picky. This restaurant is huge inside since we have never waited and the parking lot is always packed. We have been here a handful of times and they are all pretty similar. We easily get a table which is great for my aunt's scooter. We are always waited on quickly and the food is always good. I tend to stick to a fish dish, the salmon is good and they had a red fish that was great. it comes with 2 sides and rice so plenty of food. My aunt loves the pot pies and I like the massive pain killer drink that they line the rim with coconut. It's a nice pineapple drink with just the right mix of alcohol. They have a lot of drinks, but I always get this one. The best part is they bring you hot buttery croissants and they are amazing.

My family and I decided to stop in at Cheddars for dinner recently. I like the sheer variety of the menu and no there will be something I am in the mood for. Also there prices are quite reasonable. We walked in and luckily were immediately seated. Our waiter was outstanding great service and very friendly. One of the better waiters Ive had in quite some time. Anyways they did have a few new items on the menu. This was a welcome site and one sounded perfect which was chicken and rice with shrimp. Also you get two sides as well. I chose broccoli casserole and the Cole slaw. The dish was great the chicken was savory and the cutlets were cut so they didn't have the idd giant wedge shape. The shrimp were food too. I do like the rills here which are croissants with a honey butter glaze. The cole slaw was a good accompaniment and the broccoli casserole good too. Overall great trip and I will definitely be back and probably get the same item.

Well this trip started out very well. Got the trio for the appetizer the chicken tenders were awesome the salsa was delicious the caso was as well and the the spinach dip was tasty. And it went down hill from there. Got the 14 oz ribeye and it had very little flavor I cook a way better steak at home. But with all fairness to them they said were they cook the steaks was broken and they had to cook them another way and all you could get was medium well and well but that don't excuse the no spice's . And a place this big should never have equipment down that long. The mashed potatoes I got were nasty and my other side was wrong. The front staff was very friendly but are waitress was not very good. The restaurant was very clean even the bathroom's . I will probably go back to see if when they cook the steak the right way if it's any better. I almost forgot to mention the croissant were yummy but they bring you one per person if you want more they charge you.

we like Cheddars food but a ten-minute wait in an empty section and no one ever greeted us to take and order. we left.

We got a gift card for Cheddars and decided to use it up today. Did on line ordering and curbside pickup. I got a buffalo chicken wrap with fry's. Husband got chicken fettuccine. Wrap was great and they gave me lots of extra ranch and ketchup. Chicken fettuccine was also good but we asked for no broccoli and my husband was picking small pieces out of his dish. I wouldn't have minded but he hates broccoli. The broccoli must be pre mixed or someone didn't pay attention to the order. Since everything is "scratch made" I'm sure it was the latter. Young lady that brought out the food was wearing her mask. They need larger to go cup's but we were both very impressed with the size off the food portions. Everything tasted great ( except the broccoli ).

This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. They make their food fresh on site and you can tell. The menu has a variety of options. Their chicken tenders and tower of onion rings are legendary. They offer lunch and dinner size portions with most of their entrees. This is nice for older people with smaller appetites. We usually have the lunch size and it is plenty. My wife and grandson ordered the grilled salmon. It comes served with a rice pilaf and choice of two sides. My wife likes their loaded baked potato and side salad. The salads come with a croissant roll that has a honey glaze on top and melts in your mouth. I get the cornmeal whitefish and usually two side orders of green beans because they are some of the best I've tasted served in a restaurant. The fish is lightly fried and always more than I can eat. The cornmeal crust is a perfect blend of cornmeal and flour in a southern style. It reminds me of the all you can eat seafood buffets in southern Mississippi. The kids enjoy looking at the large fish aquarium in the restaurant. My wife likes the ceiling fans. They also have a bar with plenty of booths and tables. Sometimes there is a wait, but not too bad most of the time and definitely worth the wait. A really nice sit down restaurant with great food at a fair price. What's not to love!

Good food, delivered in appropriate time frame. Server was especially attentive. The manager made his rounds to check in and seemed genuinely eager to offer quality, hot food with good service. Nice touch that they had a "roving" Santa. Made us feel appreciated. Clean, warm, welcoming environment.

Was a little disappointed in the taste of the food seemed bland,our steak were lest than equal to the price, had to make sure to stay on our server, she seemed to get side tracked easy, just not a real outstanding experience I don't know what the deal was this night but I would expect something better the parking lot was that full

Sat at the bar. Service was great, 10/10. Food was meh, typical chain Applebees type food 5/10. Atmosphere was decent, nicer inside than most chains 8/10. Listening to servers loudly complain about tables/sections was a bit on the trashy side. Complain in the back where customers can't hear you crying about other servers "stealing" your tables. Might go back for drinks at bar, would not make it a destination.

I typically do not do reviews on restaurants because if I don't like it I just won't go back. But the service we just had at this place was absolutely HORRIBLE AND TRASH‼ So horrible we left before even ordering. And I have to write a review. First we made reservations 24 hours in advanced for 4pm. So they already should of had everything in place for the dinner reservations and ready to go. When we arrived we have to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated. When we were seated at the area here are a few things that was already a fail .. First: The area they gave us was still disgusting. They left the entire trash bag on the floor Second: it was extremely hot ‼ No A/C at all. And we had little children toddlers Third: We had to reclean all of the tables off ‼ Fourth: The waiter seemed like she had an attitude and she was the only one serving us. Fifth: It took the management team over an hour just bring us our drink orders , my daughter still didn't receive her lemonade. I didn't even want to order any food and I told my husband we were leaving and I'm complaining it the manager. My best advice never go here. I will be complaining to corporate. Ridiculous service.

Cheddars is an upscale version restaurant to Applebees or Chili's. The inside is beautiful and so is the outside but what I love most is that it's not expensive AT ALL so don't let the bougie look fool you! The food is priced really reasonable and they have bomb options! Especially the drinks! All the drinks sounded so good and both the painkiller and margarita was REALLY good and DEF recommend! Unlike the traditional chips and salsa or bread and butter, Cheddars give you honey butter warm croissant! That with the painkiller was STRAIGHT a weekend memory having a hot drink with pan dulce. Anyways, great place and look forward to going again soon! The only thing that could've been better was my fish blackened just a tad more (but that's me just asking for perfection.)

Cheddar's is one of my favorite sit down chain restaurants. They're always friendly and they have really delicious food. There's something on the menu for everyone. They are pretty busy most evenings especially Friday and Saturday so we frequently sit at the bar but we don't mind that at all. During our last visit I wanted something besides the pasta I usually get so I ordered the 6oz top sirloin. I usually don't order steaks at chains like this but wow I cannot day enough good things. I asked for medium and I was cooked perfectly. It was tender and juicy with so much flavor I didn't even use the steak sauce they brought me. I got a loaded baked potato and green beans as my sides and both were delicious as well. I also highly recommend the chips and queso for an appetizer. The queso isn't the usual white cheese but it's still really good and you get salsa as well. They always refill our chips at no charge because we usually run out. Great place, we always return.

Shocked! Terrible change! Took a friend to dinner and we ordered chicken strips, and Tilapia with creamy garlic dressing---yuck! Waitress in bar was surly & uninterested in waiting on someone. Plastic mat menu with very limited entrees. WAS our go-to place for family birthdays! No more. Took forever to get my diabetic friend's chicken strips. Very disappointed about how the quality of the Avon Cheddar's has rolled all the way downhill! I wrote my experience on Google Maps restaurant reviews and got a reply from 'owner' and a request that I reach out to them on at guestrelations@cheddars.com with my info. The only problem? That address does not exist via email---when you hit send it tells you to correct the address, and it is nowhere to be found when you try to google it. SAME customer service as at the Avon Cheddar's restaurant.

I got violently ill 3 hours after eating here. While there, the service was substandard at best, food tasted mediocre. I could tell the "baked" potato wasn't recently out of the oven. It tasted stale and as if it had been in a microwave or warmer for way too long. Or cooked previously and warmed up. But mostly, I was violently ill for about 45 minutes. I'm writing this review laying on my couch, barely able to move, hoping a don't have another episode.

Ordered an appetizer and our meal came out before the appetizer and even before our drinks arrived. One meal was not hot. Had to send it back, which I hate doing because of the "special sauce" you might get on it, but I don't like my food cold. Had to ask for a refill on my drink which I made a to go because we were done eating.

Don't sleep on this place... i had the vegetable plate; ceasar salad had good crunch with enough salad dressing, baked potato was done, sweet carrots were like candy, broccoli casserole... they are whole broccoli with a topping... yummm! Better than anything... the cole slaw. If you like KFC cole slaw, this is with a homeade style. Husband had smokehouse burger which was cooked prefect and tasty.

It was my first at the Cheddar's in Avon, and I had lunch out there with my mom on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. Social distance was in place, staff wore their masks, along with the customers wore their masks. Very easy to find, it wasn't too many people in the restaurant, we did have the paper menu brought to us instead of using a barcode. The Server brought out two delicious buttery honey flavored croissants. Usually, when I go out to eat I don't eat bread, but those croissants were very delicious. For, my entrée I had the very delicious flaky chicken pot pie, it was slightly a tad bit salty, there was plenty of chunky chicken in it. I also had a side of buttery corn, and the baked potato soup which the soup was okay tasted like something was missing. Then, I ordered the Island Tiki drink with sugar around the rim very good, not too strong of a drink. My mom has the cornmeal whitefish, two sides of green beans, buttery corn, and she had the Cheddar's Painkiller. Our Server was Meliza R she did a very good job, in a well timely manner, professional, helpful on the menu, and kept checking up on us. The table was clean, the restroom was also clean, and I'll be back to this restaurant.

VERY disappointing. Our first trip to Cheddar's was just before Christmas 2021. While the service was slow, I didn't hold it against them due to staffing issues. The food was pretty good and we we sure we'd found a new favorite got-to place to eat. Unfortunately, the bubble was popped yesterday when we ordered curbside carryout. The order was not complex and the curbside pickup fine. When I got home to unpack and have dinner, I found that both of the side orders of mashed potatoes were missing and that there was a mystery Ceaser salad that we hadn't ordered. After sitting down to eat what food we did have that was right, I cut into the country fried steak that was so overcooked that the breading literally crumbled and came completely off of the country fried steak. The meat inside was so salty that I couldn't even eat all of it. I give any place 2 chances and this was the last chance for Cheddar's. Won't go back to this location again and I definitely would not recommend.

I have usually ordered the Key West Chicken & Shrimp and it has been very good. I ordered it again and was disappointed. The shrimp were blackened & very spicy. The rice was bland and there was hardly any pico and it was tasteless. Side salad was huge and delicious.

I had a great meal out with my family. It has been awhile since we have eaten at Cheddars but tonight gave me all the reasons I need to come back. I felt comfortable with the steps taken to practice social distance and wearing masks. Our meals came out great and they were huge! We all took home left overs. Good price, good service, and big portions. Next time I may need to share a meal!

Terrible service, terrible food no soda so it's either water or 3.79 lemonade because the machine is down... also as a server don't kill your table with the over bearing perfume and nasty attitude. I'd be mad if I smelled that all day too..

Stopped in for lunch with a friend on a Friday afternoon about a week ago. Great lunch menu options ( pick 2) . The roll that comes with the salad has almost a sweet flavor which was unexpected and amazing . I had the Island Tiki which was very good and not too sweet. The bartender , Melissa ( I think) , was so nice, so friendly, and took the time to explain the different types of tequilas. By the end it felt like we were friends Great food, amazing staff, and that aquarium is STUNNING! What a great family restaurant that also has a nice bar area to meet with friends. This was my first time here , and I will sure be back!

Many, many moons ago Indy had a packed Cheddar's Kitchen at West 38th Street and Commercial Drive until it burned down. We were happy to see they built a new Cheddar's in Avon but unless it's off dining hours it's always packed. This Cheddar's has a tendency to be packed with a decent wait time for lunch or dinner. I highly suggest you arrive as early as possible for lunch or dinner or an off norm dining time. What is terrific is the bar area is first come seating and it has a very comfortable atmosphere. When we arrived the hostess greeted us with a warm welcome and suggested the bar area. Be sure to check out the extremely large aquarium behind the bar. The exterior and interior is beautiful with dark wood and brick walls accented by dark tile floors making it very warm and inviting. This is one of the better restaurants for easily accommodating large groups which is one of the reasons it's usually very busy. The patio is nice with a gorgeous waterfall at the corner of the patio. The server was extremely nice, didn't rush us to decide but checked back often and quickly. We started with the Santa Fe Spinach Dip as an appetizer made with four cheeses, sour cream, and spices then topped with mozzarella cheese. The Spinach Dip is delicious and so thick and cheesy; Served with a decent amount of warm, crisp, tortilla chips and enough to share. The salsa served on the side has a mild heat, several spices and compliments the spinach flavors nicely when added to the spinach dip. I've often had this just for lunch before. I personally selected the Grilled Tilapia with mango salsa ($6.99). The tilapia was topped with grilled shrimp, mango salsa, on rice and served with two sides. I selected the Idaho mashed potatoes and broccoli cheese casserole as my two sides. The potatoes were slightly lumpy, topped with white gravy and the broccoli cheese casserole was smoothed in thick cheese sauce. Both were excellent and I'll order again. The tilapia was light, flaky with a light, sweet mango topping. The shrimp were seasoned well and not overcooked. I could not find one thing I'd complain about with this meal or past experiences here. My husband had the burger and fries and he had no complaints and would order again. Excellent lunch, excellent service and stopped for lunch at the perfect time to get a seat immediately in the bar area. What more could one want.

Okay, reading reviews inset my expectations low. However, I came here around 3pm and wow it was amazing! The ribs were super juicy and fell off the bone as I hoped. Their greens were yummy and their chicken tenders were cooked to perfection. This was my very first time and I am walking away very very satisfied. I will be returning during a busy hour to see if I get the same experience but for now they hit it out of the ball park in service and food quality.

Service is usually pretty good, atmosphere is cool. Bar sett me is really cool and almost like a sports bar feel. High top tables and comfy booths. Chips and queso are really good on the appetizer menu, cheese fries are awesome and the salsa is really good too. Sandwiches are all good and the portions are huge! I would steer clear of the sirloin steaks, I have never tried he ribeye but the sirloin is way below my expectations. It was undercooked severely in one side and way over cooked on the other. Quality of meat is not good. They removed it from my bill so this is why I felt they deserve the rating. Everything was truly really good. Sorry for the gross picture of the steak but this is what I received.

I can't even give this place 1 star and I'm sad about it. I was craving some comfort food (being pregnant is difficult and comfort is needed at times, lol) so I called to place a pick up order from the parking lot. They said it would take 30 minutes to prepare a Vegetable Plate (made up of four of their southern sides). So my family and I waited outside for 30 minutes. I went inside, told the hostess I was there for pick up and she directed me to wait in the bar. I waited in there for 20 minutes and not one employee address me in the bar. So I went back to sit by the front where the hostess was. She was sitting and on her phone when I went back. Never looked up to ask if I needed help. I waited another 10 minutes and with no help or food decided to leave. I got out to the car and my fiance asked what had happened. I explained to him and he then went inside to get the food. He came out upset and said he just told them to cancel the order. Nobody greeted him as he entered either. I hate to leave this review, but that's some customer service I wish for nobody else to receive.

On a busy Saturday night they were able to get us in and our waiter was great! He even said that he waits tables at a breakfast restaurant in the mornings. He definitely got a big tip from us. I always have liked the Cheddar's atmosphere between the fish tank and other decor. And we always manage to get a booth even for just the two of us. As for the food, there is always something new that I am willing to try. At most restaurants I stick with the same option, but I know that by now I have tried at least four different entrees at Cheddar's and I could still try something new next time. Anything you order will be a great choice at a great price! This time I ordered the tilapia with a shrimp and mango topping. It was served over rice and came with two sides so I got a sweet potato (comes with a special cinnamon butter topping!) and a caesar salad. Now, when ordering a side, do not pass up the caesar salad. I still believe that Cheddar's has the best caesar salad in the restaurant business. I order it every time. And it comes with a butter glazed croissant! Even after our filling dinners we were (barely) able to fit in a monster cookie, but it was worth it. Can't wait to go back.
