Stayed in January 2025 for two nights. Very good central location and excellent facilities. The place has an elevator, rooms are super clean, beds extremely comfortable (I always pay attention to that). The host was very helpful in planning our Hualien days. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed in a double deluxe room with a balcony at Cheese Bon in Hualien, and overall, my experience was positive. The check-in process was smooth, setting a welcoming tone for the stay. While the room, number 201, was on the smaller side for two people, it was perfectly adequate for our one-night stay.||||The location of Cheese Bon is its standout feature, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and a 7-11, making everything we needed readily available right at our doorstep. For those driving, it’s worth noting that the hotel has limited parking, just two spots. We called ahead to reserve a parking space for $6 a day, a move I’d recommend to anyone visiting with a car.||||The room’s air conditioning was effective, a relief in the warmer months, and the bed was comfortable, providing a cozy night’s sleep for both of us. Although the room lacked a safe, it did include a large trunk, which we used to secure our valuables with our suitcase locks, an adequate workaround.||||Our room was exactly as pictured, which is always a pleasant surprise, as it met our expectations without any unwelcome surprises. While the room’s size and the limited parking might be drawbacks for some, the terrific location and the comfort of the accommodations made up for these minor inconveniences. Cheese Bon is a great option for travelers looking for a straightforward, comfortable stay in Hualien, especially considering the value you get for the price.

(2nd half of Oct 2024 review) Located near the Hualien Old Railway Pedestrian Area. About a 10 minute walk to Dongdamen Night Market. Great hosts (Mr Wei & Ms Qing), nice food and comfy stay. Good value for money to stay over for a few days when visiting Hualien. Thank you 😊🙏

It was kinda pricey but worth! The atmosphere was great but the table's too small for all the dish. And everything was really tasty, I think Cheese Bon is one of the very recommended restaurant in Hualian

Closed doesn’t provide food to eat or take out! A gentlemen in gray tank top ask us to leave there premises. I guess “Toyota” is not allowed. Since the first thing he said to me was, “Is your car the Toyota?” Then he said, “We are not in operation, so you need to leave!” Also prior to this, after calling and confirming that they provide take out. Very unprofessional! Bad service!

The staff are friendly and the food is okay. However, the waitress just plopped the food on the table without any regard to who ordered it.

The environment is not suitable for a group of loud people,it also cannot fit a lot of people
