Stopped into the Cheese Monger today on our way through Santa Fe. Matt helped us select a variety of cheeses. He was very patient and offered us as many samples as we liked. He also gave us advice on where to find some excellent bread to go along with our choices. Overall a great experience. Incredible variety, friendly service and delicious cheese. What else could you ask for?

This was a nice find while visiting Santa Fe. The shop is small but offers a nice selection of higher end cheeses. The sales lady was very helpful and even let my children sample a few different cheeses. I was also given an ice pack, because I wanted to fly some cheese home with me. Thanks!! The French baguette was awesome as well, perfectly chewy and crispy-yum!

I have no real cheese knowledge other than that I love cheese. I went in to look for a blue cheese to go with some salmon, and was helped by Ocean who was so so great. They brought out 3 samples of amazing variety, with descriptions almost as delightfully delicious as the cheese. The excitement for cheese carried through for a great experience for me, and I ended up getting a Point Reyes Bay Blue that we dubbed "the mermaid". Fabulous time all around, I'll be back!

The staff is knowledgeable and offered samples of lots of cheeses to help me find what I really liked. We settled on a goat cheese and an Italian cheddar. We could have spent all day learning about the different cheeses and how they are made. The staff clearly cares about their products and helping you find something you really love. They have delicious olives and other pickled vegetables too.

So much fun! We went in as part of an anniversary date to build ourselves a picnic kit and ended up stuffing ourselves on samples. We went home with 6 types of cheese we'd never tried/heard of before and 3 different meats. The staff were patient with our inexperience, we basically walked in knowing only grocery store cheeses but they guided us to cheeses we loved. Learned a lot just being in the store, so we may have to take one of their classes. They have a lot more than cheese and meat too, dried fruit, crackers, etc. We got a jar of Wild Oak Honey that the staff told us is made by aphids, amazing!

My favorite stop when I go to Santa Fe. The owner and staff sell high quality cheeses that are hard to find away from cities like NY and San Francisco. I used to be a cheesemonger myself and spent a lovely 10 minutes talking "shop" with the owner. If you are a foodie I highly recommend you add this shop to your list and visit regularly to see what new finds they have added to their selection.

I love this store! I love cheese. I come in when I want cheese, and the sales people are super helpful with recommendations. You are able to sample before buying which is great because some cheeses look better than I end up liking them. I highly recommend this store is your like cheese.

I had. The best time. Ever. The staff were beyond helpful, and we must’ve tried ten cheeses before choosing our final selections. Before coming in I had no idea what kind of cheese I liked. I knew nothing other than I preferred Walmart’s Monterey Jack over their sharp cheddar. We went from there to falling in love with some amazing goat milk cheese- and I found a blue cheese that not only do I like - I love. (Bay Blue) I took the smallest bites of the sample slices, because these cheeses are so rich and complex that I felt like it was an event to just taste it. We had seen this briefly as a place to try, but actually found it on accident on the way to the library. What an amazing time!
