Cheesesteak Rebellion

The restaurant is out of the way and the parking lot was full. We were welcomed into the aroma of delicious food and awesome views. The Star Wars theme was pretty awesome to see and enjoy. The food was hot and good. The wait was a bit long but we were supplied with drinks while we waited. All over a pretty good place.

Came to Green Bay to check out some pinball arcades, and I had several people tell me I had to check this place out. The lady at the host stand was extremely friendly and talked to me while I was waiting for my order to arrive. The food was incredible and of course I had to play a few games in their game room too! Definitely worth checking out!

Kitchy little cheesesteak shop. Very old school, start wars memorabilia, arcade games, locals love it- sort of place. The staff was very upbeat friendly and ready to have a good time! Sandwiches were good. The garlic cheese curds and house made ranch were the star of the show!

The atmosphere is Star Wars themed and so laid back. The cooks (who you definitely should tip so you can hear their thanks when the tip bell is rang), are cooking right behind the counter hibachi style. There is an arcade with space themed pin ball machines and a few others. There is something to look at everywhere. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is amazing. After we ordered our food was on our table in 11 minutes and it was piping hot and fresh.

Really cool spot in Green Bay for some drinks and food. We had a good experience here so would definitely recommend people to give them a try.

Went up to Green Bay to get Jerry Kramer book signing. Googled place to eat and came up with this gem of a place. Simply amazing food, and service was unbelievable! I will definitely put this on my place to stop when up that way again.

Hidden gem. Make sure to try the daily cheeses steak special. The soups are always amazing and the cheesecake is out of bounds. Picture is the Deviled Egg Cheese Steak 😋😋

I am a massive Star wars fan. And this place made my day. I entered the building with a grin ear to ear. A good cocktail, an amazing cheesesteak amazing curly fries. Amazing staff. Awesome merch. If anybody asks me, what is my hands down? Favorite restaurant and all of Wisconsin. This place have deserved my recognition

I like this place. I also think 4.5 stars is a good rating; however, since the people at Yelp don't believe in half stars, I'll round up. Looking like a neighborhood bar, albeit one with a Star Wars theme (if you are into that sort of thing), this place came highly recommended. I got there just before it got packed. I was promptly greeted, grabbed a seat at the bar and soon had a drink in front of me (full bar). Several things looked good both on the menu and in the kitchen (which is open for viewing). I ordered a cheesesteak (when in Rome) and an order of cheese curds. Both came well prepared and hot. The curds were great. Definitely enough in an order for two. The sandwich was packed and tasted fantastic. Leaving, I definitely was full. Would I go back? Definitely! I've already told some friends and the experience and have encouraged them to check it out.

The food cheesesteaks were incredible! Personal preference we didn't like the pickle fries. I think pickle cheese egg rolls is more accurate a description. For me, not enough pickle, too much cheese and wonton. I do think the wasabi ranch was special though. Fries were great hot, but got cold quickly. Service is where it lost a star. They did their best, totally absolutely. And also, it took us 2 hours for dinner. We put our name on the list at 6:24pm. Because of limited space we waited in the car. We're quoted 45-60 mins. Came back in around 7:15/7:20 and they said oh good, next table is yours! Then proceeded to seat 3 large party tables. We got bar seating. Which is fine. Except then the party food went in. We didn't get our food until closer to 8pm. We ordered the pickle fries as an appetizer and there was quite a dramatic wait between app and entree. All in all, the food was worth it. But avoid the Saturday night before an NFL game at 6:30pm for dinner, imo

Visiting GB from Oklahoma and ate here 2 times! The homemade cheese wiz is amazing! The french fries out of this world! The small cheesecakes brought in from a small vendor--- DELICIOUS!!! only suggestion would be to season the meat a bit more but I was able to fix it up to my liking so maybe it is best the way it is..... still delicious! Still thinking about it 3 months later

We ordered take out, food was delicious! It's a most stop if you are in town for a game or a resident of GB !! Cheese curds ... say no more.

Star Wars themed Cheesesteak joint at a little 'hole-in-the-wall' location. The walls are as colorful as their food is delicious, the vibe is fun and the menu is simple but they get it right every time. The ribeye is shaved thin and extremely tender, cheese whiz is a must-get on your sandwich, and their specialty fries (like a puffy wavy chip) are fantastic. Our cheesesteaks came out quick, piping hot, and served with a smile! Prices were reasonable and the portions were well worth every penny. A must-try in Green Bay!

I always heard of this place and finally got the opportunity to visit. When you first walk in the first thing you will see is the unbelievably awesome decor throughout the entire establishment with a jaw dropping impressive Star Wars theme. So cool. I was with a group of 8, we all ordered something something different and not one person complained about their food. I got the regular cheesesteak to see how the base sandwich for this place was. It was very good. For some odd reason though mine compared to others was quite dry for some reason, still good though. Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu , A+ to her and the staff their. If you are in the Green Bay Area I would say that this place you would have to go to this place to check it off your bucket list.

This place is amazing! The service was immaculate, and Bri was a fantastic bartender and waitress. The Cheese Wizz, Fries, Ranch, Pepper Cheese Steak, and Garlic Cheese Curds were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this local restaurant for a great dining experience. Definitely a spot to visit!

Amazing cheesesteaks! We were visiting from Chicago and my husband googled places to eat near by our hotel in Green Bay and it did not disappoint plus the star wars theme was amazing! Service was quick and food was chefs kiss! My 3 year old and husband especially loved all the pin ball machines. Anyone looking for a good place to eat this is the way!

I'VE DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN If I had to create a restaurant idea that combined all my favorite things, this is exactly what that dream would look like! STAR WARS CHEESE CURDS CHEESESTEAKS CHEESECAKES My brothers and I were treated to a great experience on our trip to Green Bay This place is amazing. The entire inside is decked out in Star Wars memorabilia. They also have a small arcade area with Star Wars pinball machines and arcade games. The menu is simple. And the choice is easy. Just order a cheesesteak and some cheese curds. We ordered both the Galaxy Curds and garlic cheese curds. I personally liked the Galaxy Curds more. And to be honest, they may have been the best cheese curds I've ever had! I also ordered the Rebel Whiz and my brother ordered the Pepper Cheesesteak add Cajun shrimp. Both were amazing. Meat was thinly sliced and super flavorful. And last but not least we got the raspberry cheesecake. ALSO AMAZING. Make sure keep your eye on them and order one before they're gone. When we got there 6 raspberry in the fridge. When we got done eating there was only one left. Overall this place is what dreams are made of if you are a fan of Star Wars and like delicious cheesesteaks and cheesecakes!

Part great restaurant and part Star Wars museum! If you are a Star Wars and Cheesesteak fan, this place would be like heaven to you! Literally loaded with everything Star Wars, from movies playing on TV's. Memorabilia everywhere, to a Star Wars themed Video Game Arcade Room. I'm not a huge Star Wars guy, yet I got a kick out of this place.... And I thought the food was really good, and the menu has a lot more than just cheesesteaks. Has a full bar and the friendly staff really works their butts off getting food out during the lunch rush.

I recently visited Cheesesteak Rebellion in Green Bay, WI, and was pleasantly surprised by its unique atmosphere. The place has an eclectic vibe, filled with lots of Star Wars memorabilia in a fun diner setting. It really adds a lot of character! The wait staff was very attentive, and the service was spot on. I ordered the Pepper Cheesesteak (without peppers, LOL) and a side of steak fries. My food arrived quickly--about a 5-minute wait--and was served piping hot. The cheesesteak was delicious! You could tell the steak was of high quality, and the bread was also top-notch. My only suggestion would be to order extra cheese and have it mixed into the steak, as mine came with the cheese only on top of the sandwich. The steak fries seemed to be hand-cut and were seasoned perfectly. They were very tasty and complemented the sandwich well. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Delicious cheesesteak, really big portions (seriously, we ordered an app and then each got sides with our cheesesteak and it was SOOOO much food. Next time we could definitely just split a side or skip the app... But other than being way too full when we left, I cannot complain. I had a regular cheesesteak with provolone for my cheese. As an app, we had garlic cheese curds. They were aggressively garlicky in the best possible way. Oh, and the service was excellent. If/when we return to Green Bay, we will 100% be heading back to Cheesesteak Rebellion.

Not that I am a connoisseur of cheesesteak and this was not our original destination, but this sandwich was really good. There was so much flavor in the beef and the bread was super soft and tasty. My husband had the sandwich of the day, with Cajun shrimp on top. He opted for provolone instead of the pepper jack that came with the sandwich. He enjoyed it. The galaxy cheese curds are just that. From another galaxy - nice crunch on the outside and gooey goodness inside. The kitschy StarWars theme was an added bonus.

Loved the garlic cheese curds and the pepper cheese steak! Best cheese steak I've ever had. Rosemary fries were great, enough for 2-3 people. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Didn't know what to expect upon arrival, but thoroughly enjoyed the food and dive bar atmosphere. Wouldn't definitely come here again to get my cheesesteak fix.

Nothing like rushing from the airport to try a new spot, and making it there just in time with 15-20 minutes left before they close. just to walk in to them handing out freshly made orders to clients inside and being told they will not take your food order because they already started cleaning the the grill... Very disappointing spending my only night in town wasting it on driving to get this service.

Marginal food, no tap beer, to dark, fryer oil needs changing more frequently, French frys need work

Found this establishment as an option for dinner through Yelp. Initially thought to get the food togo but as the temps were near 0 degrees F, I thought everything would go cold the min I walk back out the door. Decided to dine at the bar. Order the pepper cheesesteak with mushroom and steak fries. Everything tasted great and came out piping hot. Even had to eat the fries at first with a fork so I didn't burn myself. Only thing I forgot to do was ask if they had hot peppers of some kind I could add. Would definitely come back again if I was in the area again.

Best cheesesteak PERIOD! Clean interior, friendly staff and delicious food... what more could you want? O.K. Awesome memorabilia and decor. The rosemary fries were YUMMM!! I only wish I were like a cow and had four stomachs to fit four more cheesesteaks!!!

May 16th my 70th birthday, my kids and grandson went to your place for supper. We wanted to get together for my birthday, and had tickets to Riverdance after we ate... When we went in, we told the hostess how many were in our party, and were told the tables only accommodate 6...so we would have to sit at separate tables! I asked them to put 2 tables together and the hostess said they couldn't do that, because it was against their policy. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was that we were not able to sit all together...after all I did tell her it was my 70th birthday. If we had known this, we never would have gone to your place. We only went because my son wanted to try the food there. To not be able to sit together and converse and enjoy our time together inexcusable! Sorry, I just feel you should have been a little more accommodating with the seating!!!!!

Take it from an East Coaster who is rather particular about cheesesteaks these were much better than anticipated!! I give credit where it's due, it is definitely worth the visit!! Although I am not a Star Wars fan, the themed decor is pretty cool! The galaxy cheese curds were delicious! We also had cheesecake for dessert that was very tasty! This was a WIN all the way around !

Had what they call butter burger. No butter bun not great and while perhaps a steak burger it tastes like chewy puck with no flavor . We would not go back

We are from Illinois but every time we are in Green Bay we make sure to save one mealtime to swing in to grab a cheesesteak sandwich. The fries are amazing, too! Such a cool place if you're a Star Wars fan!

The food alone carries this 5-star review every sandwich on the menu is amazing and they innovative new sandwiches every week. Cheese curds are a must. It's not just the food that's great this is a Star Wars lovers dream! Takes you right back to childhood in the 80-90s with all the old school arcades and Star Wars memorabilia. Truly a work of love. Service is amazing and beers come out faster than you can drink them.

it's just ok got the butter burger no butter dripping out which i hoped for and meat was chewy 2nd time there not sure there will be a 3rd

I'm never eating a cheese curds again unless they are from here. We tried both kinds and they were both phenomenal. Our waitress Rachael was great! 10/10 would come back to Wisconsin just for the these cheese curds.

Food was pretty good, by no means amazing, but we went while in GB for the SW experience....cool collection....

They don't have smashburgers. I don't think people know what a smashburger is. There are much better burgers at places nearby like Hammer Inn or Bourbon street.

Some good cheesesteaks here. We also had the fried cheese curds, awesome Star Wars environment.

We were in town visiting for a Packer game and were directed here by a young local. She did not disappoint! The cheese steaks are phenomenal and I'm still dreaming of the Cheese curds! The staff were so friendly and inviting. The decor is just awesome! Can't recommend enough!

The rumors and reviews are true, what a fantastic place!! I'm a Milwaukeean in town on travel and this is one of the of the best cheesesteaks I've had this side of Philly. I've been to Philly - trust me. I ordered the rebel and added provolone. Soooo good! The ingredients are fresh, well-seasoned and quality. The service is attentive and friendly. The ambiance, Star Wars themed pub with an open grill - which is always something I appreciate... And although I'm not into Star Wars, the theme works and well represents the homey joint. Highly recommend to all - vegetarians enjoy the veggie Philly and add the balsamic. I work in tourism and I find this to be an incredible hidden gem and well worth your time and your dollar. Go support one of the best establishments in GB!

Stopped here between tours at Lambeau - so glad we found this place thanks to fellow Yelp reviewers! Friendly neighborhood bar with one of the best Philly Steak sandwiches I have ever had. Very good prices (especially considering the portions) and friendly staff.

Five. Stars is really not enough. The food is outstanding. The service is excellent. The ambience is out of this world because it's Star Wars themed. That was just an added bonus for me. This locally owned place was recommended by a local when we were at the game at Lambeau Field yesterday and I am so glad that we searched it out before flying home.couldn't have asked for anything better. 4 beers 2 sammies and fries later we are not complaining about our $47 tab as we roll ourselves outta here. Ida was our server & she was wonderful.

This is a little off the beaten path...but it's a great neighborhood bar. I'm sad I didn't get a pic of the fried pickles, as they were yummy. I liked that I could customize my cheesesteak and switch up my cheese choice. We also shared some yummy garlic cheese curds! This place is busy, but you are in and out before you know it! Definitely worth the trip!

My husband and I were looking for something delicious on our way home from Door County. We had to stop in Green Bay for his work, so we stumbled across this place. So glad we did! The Star Wars theme was fun, the waitress was pretty attentive, and the food came out quickly. We honestly could have split a cheesesteak, but it was so flavorful I couldn't stop eating. Fries come separate and are a healthy enough size that they are meant to share- which we did. Next time we're up that way maybe I'll be in the mood to try their themed drinks as well.

Prior to our trip to GB I scoured Yelp in search of a few places to eat and came across this establishment. I saved it for future consideration. My adult son, out of the four of us visiting, was pretty much left in charge of the itinerary. I mentioned this place and its overall excellent rating, as we flew across the country. On day 2 he tossed Cheesesteak Rebellion out as a place for lunch and the entire crew agreed to try it out. Each one of us was so glad that we did! From the moment we walked in the customer service was EXCELLENT. They made us out-of-towners (which may have been obvious to the locals) feel welcomed. We all ordered sandwiches and a few sides to share. I ordered the Rebel Whiz, which was a traditional cheese steak sandwich with cheese whiz (as I had NEVER had a steak sandwich with the whiz). That sandwich was DELICIOUS! It had plenty of warm tender well-seasoned medium rare (me thinks) meat and was difficult to handle due to its size, on a soft lightly toasted hoagie bun (see attached photo as proof). The onion rings were perfect; and I can be an onion ring snob. They were perfectly fried crisp, seasoned lightly and not oily whatsoever. The fried garlic curds (we had never tried curds before, but had to being in Wisconsin for the first time) were also delicious and addicting. We all agreed the food was fantastic and hoped to come back once more before leaving town. Although it was a filling lunch we did return, for a late dinner that same day! LMAO... This time I ordered The Jim (ribeye meat, ribeye patty, brat patty, mushrooms, onions and pepper-jack)! What a beast of a sandwich, and it was one of the most tasty gathering of flavors I have ever experienced in a meat sandwich! Look at the attached photo(s) and see for yourself. It tasted better than my photo(s) make it out to be. On our fourth day visiting we AGAIN returned, we liked the food so much! I enjoyed The Jim so much I reverted back to my creature of habit ways and ordered it again, knowing I would probably never have the opportunity to experience/taste it in the future. It, again, was so so so so tasty - BURP! The prices, at least compared to the inflated, overpriced, charges in California were a blessing unto themselves. The staff had no concerns splitting our bills four ways on each of our visits, by the way. We were tempted to return a fourth time, but opted to try another restaurant on our last evening there. What a mistake that was. If you are a local, visitor or wandering vagabond (with cash to buy a good meal) I/we highly recommend you give this place a try. None of us think you will be disappointed. And yes, the place is geeked out with Star Wars paraphernalia, for that extra touch, for those that have an affinity for the series. Oh yeah, the drinks and beer are pretty good too and I bought myself a beanie to commemorate the good times. FIVE stars for sure, for sure!

This place is a must! The cheesesteaks are amazing and delicious! We had the Rebel Whiz and the Falcon. The Rebel Whiz is where it is at - add jalapeños! We will definitely be back! The only negatives was there was a wait but not for the outside and we were not offered outside seating until we waited for 15 minutes. They also don't offer any high chairs.

I am a very picky person. Im telling you this place is great!!!!!!!! Sandwiches are absolutely delicious. A +++ Other places are too salty. Here they have the perfect amount of meat to toppings. And you have to go into the restaurant because the decorations are really cool.

As a 60 year old Philadelphian visiting for business, I give the thumbs up for authenticity and taste as well as great prompt service. Steak was super hot off the grill on an authentic Amoroso roll and paired with pleasingly mouth-burning steak fries right out of the fryer, w dipping cheese - this is heaven, even if it accelerates my journey there. Roll, meat, cheese - all the right stuff, chopped on the griddle right before your eyes as it should be. Will be back!!

Food was very good. They were very busy but my carry out did not take too long. I will definitely be going back.
