We had Cheesy Eddies cater desserts for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were so nice and accommodating and the desserts were so delicious and reasonably priced. All of our guests loved them and the delivery went smoothly. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or any event!!

Very good cheesecake, nice and dense and there are so many flavors to choose from! We picked the coconut cream, carrot cake, blueberry, peanut butter cup, and red velvet cheese cake along with a few of their minis. They are all VERY good but the coconut cream (red velvet close second) is my favorite and my husband liked the carrot cake cheese cake best. He also had the carrot cake it's self which he said was delicious. I had the raspberry cupcake which is a dense vanilla cake with raspberry cheesecake center and amazing raspberry butter cream icing, so good! We will be stopping next time we are in Rochester to try them other flavors as nothing we picked was a disappointment and their staff is very friendly!

We used Cheesy Eddies for our wedding cake. It came out beautifully and the carrot cake tasted amazing. It was a seamless process.

Amazing cheesecake! No crust is a surprise but light and fluffy, doesn’t give you a stomach ache after. The fresh fruit (not canned) really make the difference. $5 a slice is so you don’t eat too much im guessing, because I can probably eat multiple slices if left alone. The carrot cake was a bit too dense and sweet for me.

They did our wedding in July! They were incredible to work with in planning, and have a great tasting box setup. Delivery was seamless and the desserts were incredible. They have displays available for rental though we opted to buy our own. For a 200 person wedding, we did the two tier carrot cutting cake (kept the top for anniversary and sliced up the bottom for guests), and 400 total mini desserts (100 each of bourbon caramel cheesecake, red velvet, original cheesecake, and peanut butter ganache brownie). I wish we had done about 50 more, they were so popular!

The cheesecake here is phenomenal, and the shear options of cheese cake are absolutely insane. And I was able to get some gluten free options for some friends.

Our desserts were so delicious! Definitely award worthy. Easy to find. Small but quaint location. Our server was very helpful. People were coming and going as we ate. We could tell it was the place to go!

I know this is a place known for their cheesecake. And they are fantastic for that, for sure. But these folks also have the most killer cookies. Seriously the best cookies I've ever eaten from any bakery anywhere I have traveled or lived. Their carrot cake is pretty awesome, as well. I don't get here as often as I'd like, but everyone always raves about what we get here.

Incredible cupcakes! I received some as a surprise treat during my work day and tried the lemon flavor which was delicious! Would love to check out the bakery in person someday and try some more flavors!

A very cute place to get your bakery fix! Super convenient location in south wedge. It is also right a cross the street from abundance food coop. Street parking only. I love that you can order a cheesecake with various types of cheesecake slices so you don't have to commit to one flavor! Its perfect to bring to a party. They have plenty of indoor seating on the main floor and second floor! You can order a slice or a whole cake. The customer service is super friendly.

Their carrot cake is well known and agreed upon locally to be amazing. Incredibly moist. In addition to an abundance of types of cheesecakes that aren't overly sweet, you can get legit bit sized bits just to try some different flavors.

Always amazing right from the store or anyone they supply. The carrot cake is the best around, their cheesecakes are too. Really you can't go wrong with any flavor you choose.

This place is a dessert lovers dream. Cheesecake, cookies, cupcakes... all yum! I wish I could try everything. The last time I was there, I got 4 mini cupcakes and a cookie sandwich. The cupcakes were shared, and all good! They also were good at explaining everything. The parking here is iffy. Which is probably good for me to keep me from going here so the time, lol. Well worth the trip!

The best carrot cake I have ever had. Ordered it for a birthday party and picked it up personalized. There are no nuts and no raisins. One of the most moist carrot cakes I have ever had.

I visited their Location in Henrietta, NY off Jefferson Rd in the Regional Market. Great location, great dessert selection and very friendly folks here. This is location is probably, a hidden Gem, among other food venues.

My seven year old thought it was called "cheesy yetis " this whole time and now I want them to make shirts that have cheesy yetis on them. Or a cheesy yetis club? Cheesy Eddie's is amazing, and not just the cheesecakes and carrot cakes, their cookies are delicious as well. Jillian's delights are addicting! We sent my sister in California a cheesecake from here for her bridal shower. The staff is always super patient and helpful!

A little fun fact for yah! Did you know Feb 3rd was national carrot day? I sure didn't haha, but what a great reason to get some carrot cake. Most importantly it's my lady's birthday, so I have to look for a high quality cake. I only opt for the best for that woman haha, even though she doesn't recommend it. Cheesy Eddies consistently refuses to disappoint. Their cakes, cheese cakes, and other desserts are clearly made with high quality love. The staff is always full of information, friendly, and loaded with smiles. There is no such thing as a bad choice in this place. But if you find yourself stuck between choices, someone would always be happy to help. I decided to choose the 7" carrot cake. This literally made the birthday woman's day. The cake was amazing. Texture inside had perfect balance between moisture and structure. The icing was not overwhelming at all. It was smooth and creamy. Every bite was chock full with comfort. Each scoop had a light sprinkle of shredded carrots which was perfect. We had a 7 people total, and there was almost 1/3 of the cake left. It's impressive how Cheesy Eddies is still able to be persistent and stay true to its values. I highly recommend this place to everyone. And here's a quick fyi, they also have a location in Henrietta,NY.  And that's my cue, with love!

Very cute looking store with good looking desserts. My favorite is the carrot cake. A little too much cream in it for my taste though.

You know that episode of friends? The one with the cheesecake? Cheesy Eddie's is BETTER than that cheesecake.

It's Good, plain and simply put! The Key Lime Blossom was my favorite item. It was creamy and solid, yet light with an amazing lime flavor that was clearly present but not overpowering. I was glad to see items other than just slices of cheesecake available for purchase. Also tried the carrot cake which was delicious. The cheesecake was good as well! With so many flavored slices to choose from, it was hard to pick just 1, but i went with the Apple streusel and it was a great choice. The Apple streusel isn't a wild crazy "over-the-top" flavor as described but As I'm writing this I'm just realizing that their "over-the-top" cheesecakes ( as opposed to classic) just means that there are toppings 'over the top' of the cheesecake, LOL, not wild outrageous flavors. Wow, Lol Definitely will go back if i need a Cheesecake fix our a freshly made dessert!

The. Best. Carrot. Cake. Hands down. The cheese cake is also amazing. There are also cookies sandwiched with cream cheese that are the best. My favorite is the Oatmeal cookie, but there's also chocolate chip and peanut butter. I recommend one of the platters with a bunch of bit sized goodness, it's a mix of all the things. I also suggest you get one extra bite sized thing for the car so you don't have to break open the platter before you get to where you're going.

I'm not a sweets kind of person I prefer hot meals preferably steak and French fries If I want something sweet I'll grab a fruit BUT I MAKE EXCEPTIONS For CHEESY EDDIES Cheese cake and carrot cake are Hard to perfect and they do both very well

My husband went in to get some cheesecake for the 1st time here and he came home raveing. The women gave him a full tour of the building, taught him how to cut cheese cake with the fish line, and let him taste test many different options. The cheesecake is to dye for. 40 years in business and you know why once you put some cheesecake in your mouth. By far was a great experience and they have definitely earned our business we will be back.

If you want, killer cheesecake and gourmet cupcakes and freshly baked cookies and so much more come here. Friendly staff and a nice little place on the corner. A bit pricey but it's worth it for a really special treat.

Amazing customer service and amazing carrot cake! I placed an order online and didn't realize there are two locations. I went to the wrong location and they were so accommodating. They were able to fill my order at the store and impressingly fast! Thank you Cheesy Eddie's! This was my first time trying your desserts and I will 100% be back. The carrot cake was moist and a really great blend of flavors. Wished I bought a bigger cake as everyone wanted seconds!

Liza and I took a small drive to Rochester and we decided to stop at this place and test it it out and Wow! This place is amazing... We had the bite size samples and a mini raspberry cheesecake, Yum! Definitely check it out...

My sweet Cheesy Eddie's: I love you and miss you so! I can't wait until this is past us so we can all order cheesecake in droves. Everything they do is amazing, and they do it with kindness and flair. I love a birthday filled with a cheesecake sampler. Carrot cake cheesecake?! Snickers?! Oatmeal cookie cheesecake?! OMG. Everything is insanely good and decadent. A small sampler comes in right around $30 and is certain to take your party from good to great. The carrot cake is another star, and Cheesy Eddie's does quite a bit of wholesale work as well. They have whatever it is you are looking for with options to order ahead or pop right into either of their locations and grab goodies from the counter. I love their convenient location right on South Ave - it makes it easy to grab something on the way to a party or event. If you haven't eaten anything from Cheesy Eddie's I am SO SORRY that you won't get the chance in this immediate moment. They are closed for the time being, but PLEASE throw your money at this amazing business when they open back up.

Now that I read all the great reviews I smile since I know they all right. Cheesy Eddie's is something else and one of the places I missed since moved. But when returned it was one of the first places I wanted to visit. Hard to believe a local never heard about it, but if you did not, you just have to.

Idk, I love bakeries and cheesecake and creativity and Eddie's has all 3. Maybe it's the name where it goes wrong and ends up being a cheesy attempt at a really great place, but it tries harder than that. I've tried multiple times now, and every time it always tastes like there's one ingredient that's not quite right. When I've had them delivered, sometime the cheese has tasted a bit off, like maybe it sat out a bit waiting in transit. I want to love this place, and I'm giving it 3 because I know other people have good experiences, and because everything seems to be there to make it so!

Even though cheesecake is their specialty, this is probably the best little bakery in the city of Rochester - hands down. Their customer service is always amazing. On my most recent visit the owner was upfront socializing and encouraging customers to try samples of the cheesecakes. She was very sweet. You absolutely must try their red velvet cupcakes. The moist cake is deliciously old fashioned with not too much chocolate and not too much red coloring. The icing is also the perfect balance of sugar and cream cheese. All of their cupcakes are delicious and have a ton of flavor. Some of the cupcakes had a cheesecake filling. I can concur with other reviewers that the the carrot cake is next level.

There is no better cheesecake than Cheesy Eddies! We had the pumpkin swirl cheesecake at our wedding and my husband always requests the carrot cake for his birthday. The only problem is, it ruins you because, nothing else compares!

OMG What can I say and where do i begin? This place has the most delicious carrot cake like ever!!! And their cookies yum!!! Everything I've tried there is freaking amazing and the folks that work there are so sweet and friendly, I can't wait to go there this Wednesday to pick up a carrot cake for my sisters birthday, so she too can experience the greatness!!!

My go to bakery for cheesecake and carrot cake...absolutely the best!!! Years ago we did blind tasting with Belduci's cheesecake (NYC), Cheesecake House (Philly) and Cheesy Eddie won unanimously...enjoy!

I love the idea of cheesecake cupcake but maybe I might have liked it more if the frosting is cheesecake and the cupcake itself is the cake mix that cupcakes usually made of. I had a key lime cheesecake cupcake and a plain cheesecake cupcake. They were tasty! Then the coconut creme cheesecake was not as good or maybe not what I expected. It was very heavy and not light like what I usually have/prefer. It didn't taste like a fresh made cheesecake from a bakery but more like a frozen cheesecake from a grocery store. I need to try out another flavor/s next time I'm in town! The ladies there are as sweet as the cakes! Very informative when I had questions. The location was easy to find and parking is on the street.

They have the best service and the best cake out there. I bought a huge carrot cake to feed 20 people for $40. It was delicious and everyone RAVED about the cream cheese frosting. Go here! They're employees are amazing and the food is excellent.

There isn't much to say about Cheesy Eddies...It's just the best cheesecake ever...Period. I got a 3lb plain for my birthday...and when i took the first bite, i immediately felt like i was 5 years old in my grandmas kitchen...eating the most delicious Home made cheesecake one could ever taste. I never thought i would experience that ever again...but I did...and it was an expensive experience...about 10 dollars a pound...But oh man was it worth it.

I don't think it's possible for Cheesy Eddie's to make a bad dessert! All their bakes... from cheesecakes, to cakes, to cookies... are absolutely divine! I was lucky enough to be surprised with a peanut butter chocolate moose cake for my birthday this year, and it was truly one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. They also gifted us a free peanut butter cookie sandwich as they heard that I had always wanted to try one, but never had the chance. So sweet! I also love that they create mini versions of their treats for those days were you want a little treat, but don't want to go overboard... or if you want to try a lot of different things at once. They're truly one of the best spots around.

This place is truly a Rochester staple. If you want the richest and best cheesecake in the area, you won't find it at Cheesecake Factory... you'll find it at Cheesy Eddies! They do cakes to order, but they also have these perfectly wonderful cookie sandwiches that are packed with their signature cheesecake as a filling? Moon pies move over, those are TOTALLY worth the calories.

This is the best local spot for cheesecake of all kinds. You can order ahead for special occasions. Great customer service. The sugar free cheesecake is the best I have ever had, even compared to the ones I have attempted to make for myself! You can't go wrong with the original classic cheesecake. They have sides or bottles of sauces. Or you can order a variety if you can't make up your mind.

Friendly staff that serves up some delicious treats for any sweet tooth! My girlfriend got me a Carrot Cake for my birthday and it was so moist and yummy. Definitely worth trying if you want an incredible cake for a friend or family member....or even yourself!

I needed a cake for a bridal shower and after some search, the other bridesmaids and I decided on Cheesy Eddie's. We originally had our heart set on the White Raspberry Rosebud Torte, but after being on the phone with the people taking my order, I decided to get the carrot cake since.... that's what they're known for. The girl on the phone with me taking my order was extremely nice and answered all my random questions. I ended up ordering an assortment of cupcakes and mini cheesecakes. On the day of the party, everything was ready to go and packed into boxes for easy carrying. I first tried a red velvet cupcake - the cake was moist and not overly sweet, but it was kind of missing the distinct flavor that makes it a red velvet and not just a cupcake dyed red. The cheesecake bites was kind of disappointing - I was expecting the cheesecake to blow my mind since I got it from a place that's known for cheesecakes... But damn the carrot cake. OUT OF THIS WORLD. Best carrot cake I've ever had. I love that their carrot cake has no raisins or nuts in it (specifically noted on the website) - because that was a definite deal breaker. The cake was so moist and you can see the carrot shreds in the cake. The cream cheese frosting complimented the cake perfectly... Best carrot cake. EVER.

My first time inside CEs. Stopped in with a friend hell bent on buying out the place. He bought the biggest carrot cake available and over 2 dozen of the giant cookies they make. Despite the fact that they are known for their cheese cakes, they make a mean carrot cake. Most of the ppl in my office had some and there was some left. I waited until night time to have a cookie- ok 2!- the peanut butter had choc. chips in it and obviously the choc chip cookie did as well. There is a little coffee shop connected that smelled wonderful- but I can't drink coffee in the PM or I won't sleep. Overall a sweets delight that's been going for many years.

I called to have 12 cupcakes delivered to my daughter who is studying at Eastman. It was her 18th bday and her first away from home. They staff was so helpful texting her to make sure they arrived and getting them to her and I heard that they were 5 star yummy.. thank you so much when I come to town I am headed to your store b

Love Cheesy Eddie's! A true staple in Rochester. Not only do they have delicious cheesecakes but they also bake awesome carrot cake and other tasty desserts. I really enjoy the mini cheese cakes that they have for sake as well- it's a great way to have a little taste of several different types of cheesecakes without having to buy a while cake or slice- bite size deliciousness! Go to the SouthWedge and checkout Cheesy Eddie's!

Yum, Yum, Yummy! I finally got here and I'm glad! I've had a few of their tasty treats at people's parties but I never went to get anything myself. That has now changed! It's a cute place, it's not very big but that's not the point. Thing is they ship cheesecakes oh yes they do... I've had some of the plain, chocolate and amaretto. OMG smooth and tasty they have other treats as well and you can get gift cards too. When you go in they also have samples too, every time I go in someone is always picking up a cake or ordering one. Parking is on the street it can be easy or tricky. The smooth taste of that cheesecake is still fresh in my mind I want more.. I'm glad it's here but glad I can't just walk over. Ha ha! Get you some cheesecake and treats. I will be back!

What more can be said about this cheesecake? Plus they give away free cheesecake 1-2 times a year. Being a local business makes it better than any chain can offer.

Cheesy Eddies has phenomenal cheesecakes. You can order a whole or by the slice. I like to buy a little bit of everything here, but it is important to note that if you're not a fan of cream cheese, there are only a few options available. The cheesecake is light, not overly sweet and has the perfect consistency. It is worth the visit when nearby. Customer service is good. Although I will note, that I always feel pressured to know what I want as soon as I enter. I always try to order a small variety. Their filled cupcakes, oatmeal cookies, carrotcakes and cheesecakes are all delicious. There are a plethora of options, all great. I've been stopping by here a lot more lately.

The place to go for the yummiest pastries but it is my go to place for carrot cake. Whenever I go to friend and family events I bring carrot cake. Cheesy Eddie is on South Avenue in a cute little corner shop close to other wonderful stores in the South Wedge.
