Called once to order food they said 30 minutes I will recieve my food.. 1 hour and 40 minutes later no food I called to tell them that it was ridiculous they said driver is leaving soon so I told them to cancel they then put me on a do not deliver list terrible service

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The flavor is there. The texture is there. Not the greatest atmosphere it’s kind of hot inside but the food is delicious. This and mayflower on Caselton are the top takeouts in the city.

My wife ordered from seamless and the wrong order was delivered with the wrong customization. We called the restaurant directly and the woman on the phone was exceptionally patient and walked us through the process of making it right through seamless. Even staying on the line until it was all sorted. The correct dish was delivered promptly and was delicious. Many thanks for working hard to fix our order.

The food here is excellent and the staff is very nice. They even customized my dish. It was so good, I came back and they remembered me and my order. Highly recommend!

Very good food ;I come here quite frequently. Their vegtatble fried rice is very well cooked and their service is top tier. One of the best spots in the northern part of ataten island for sure.

They have an authentic chinese food! and we can dine in. I tried their orange chicken, turned out it’s very good

I'm very picky about my food. Hands down the best Chinese restaurant on Staten island in my opinion. I say that because of the price, quality and quantity of the food. I've ordered here for the last 8 years. Never had a bad order. They never miss, it's been a consistent hit each and every time.

I order from here at least twice a week. Food is always on point. I haven't had one meal miss the mark. I've also suggested this spot over the other Chinese food on Staten island. Delivery is pretty fast even in bad weather. Definitely worth the eats.

For over 30 years Chef Hong's has been my favorite Chinese take out restaurant for a good reason. They are constantly great. Our go to order is BBQ spare ribs, Thai pineapple fried rice, fried chicken wings and shrimp lo mein. Always fresh and delicious. The phone order process is easy and delivery is normally pretty fast.

PSA: Wouldn't recommend their "SEAFOOD" . . I Honestly Been sold "Spoiled shrimp" on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS By This Place to The Point I HAVE TO EXPOSE THE FILTH -(spoiled shrimp w/ garlic sauce) -(spoiled shrimp w/ broccoli)

I was a faithfull chef Hong customer since about 6 months after they opened . all these years , thousands of dollars spent, business given .. sometimes pick up some times delivery but they knew me and my address. I came to get food today. forgot my wallet .. only had a $10 on me.. they wouldn't let me get a product for $10.50.. is said for .50 all the business for .50? she said actually $11.80 with tax.. lol I couldn't believe it. then I walked back in and found another $5$5 in my other pocket , and said we'll now I have the money but I'm not longer patronizing your business . you literally traded I have no idea how many yearssss of business for .50 or $1.80 however u c it .. my mind was blown

I was in the mood for Chinese food which I have not had in a long time! I Order from the lunch special menu chicken, broccoli, and brown rice! The brown rice tasted blahhhhh!! They need to work on the taste!! The chicken and broccoli were good dough!! The young lady behind the counter was very nice and good customer service!

You'll need Pepto, Imodium and a box of Depends after eating here. Recommend visiting in person before blindly ordering from any menu dropped in your mailbox.

I waited until I ordered at least 3 times before posting a review. The short version: this is one of the best delivery places on the north shore! Case in point: something that would normally be unheard of to be high quality when delivered- Peking Duck! I've ordered it 3 times. Every time- fresh, moist, crispy skin, great flavor, fresh condiments!!! They also make the best pork spare ribs (on the bone), I mean tender!!!! Fried jumbo shrimp with tartar sauce!! Good stuff. Their MuShu isn't the best but it's ok. Fried rice is pretty decent. Overall, love this place for delivery. Oh and the delivery guy is very friendly and fast. Tip him well!!!

My favorite Chinese takeout of Staten Island.food is consistant I like their specials. FRIED wonton are great. Sesame chicken is done well. General Chang's as as its done anywhere. Thai pineapple fried rice is special.

Best Chinese food delivery in the downtown Staten Island area. The food is always so fresh and nicely prepared, and always taste amazing! Their consistancy with the food quality is alway on point. I just discovered this place a few months ago, although I know they have been around for years, but boy I was missing out! Try it! You won't regret it!

this place has a very dynamic husband wife team that really shows a hard working dedicated team " but as for the food consider yourself lucky if you get all side packs for chicken wings or any other meal without asking and if you want one or two more soy sauce or ketchup or hot sauce be prepared to pay extra and to top it off if ther busy be gratefull that your food is cooked more than once i have gotten home to get half cooked chicken wings or the dough raw in the wonton or the golden shrimp be gratefull to find your meal cooked and when you do call they will instruct you to not throw out put in the microwave. so great going on work ethic, terrible job on customer health or food poisoning risk so go for inspiration but do do do not no not eat there food unless it is slow and calm at resteraunt !!!!! and not to stereo typr them but it is straight from satuarday night live skit of you pay now and wife is very nasty and rude but great at math and addition as well as you pay now not now but right now!!!!!!!!

This place has been rebranded as "New Chef Hong" but it's the same horrible cook. The fried rice is greasy. I mean like grease trap greasy. The rest of the menu items are equally gross. Best to avoid at all costs! Side note if there were zero stars that's what I would give them.

I ordered food sunday night. 10:20. order included fried wontons. they delivered the food w/o sauce for the fried wontons. when my husband called back the guy laughed and said the guy who made the sauce wasnt there. WTF. then why did you take my money? we have ordered from them for years and will never again.

chef hong restaurant is #1in my book the food is outstanding the place always clean the prices are not that expensive and the people are friendly and helpful strongly recommended.

Could be better, food was ok but the rice was dry and the chicken wasnt all that but all in all i give it 3/5 stars.

Not sure if the "chef" is the same as the one that cooked for the other reviewers but.....our food was delicious. Ordered chicken and broccoli, wonton soup and egg rolls. The only complaint was from my husband. He thought his egg roll was over cooked. I think its a matter if taste because I thought mine was fine. The chicken was exceptional, can't remember the last time I actually had tender moist chicken that could not possibly be mistaken for cat. I highly recommend it. the wonton soup was also delicious. tasty wontons and strips of pork in a dark flavorful broth. First time trying this place and will continue ordering from them until our first bad meal.

Good traditional americanized Chinese food. Great and polite customer service, and the delivery was pretty quick too.
