Chelidonia Traditional Villas

We had obviously chosen this hotel because of the view and its location is absolutely excellent. The proximity of the hotel to the most panoramic points on Santorini means you can enjoy the atmosphere and the picturesqueness of the island. The location also meant we could enjoy the best views after the full house of cruising holidaymakers had dissipated. The cheeky terrace is a great way to enjoy the atmosphere at lunchtime or mid-afternoon, when the sidewalks are packed with tourists. And, most importantly, the staff at the reception was most helpful.

Staying once again in #4, it was really great having a bigger bathroom and the AC this time. We never ran the AC except in the evenings.Breakfasts were amazing and a wonderful greeting to each day! The office staff while there was excellent and before coming, they answered every email quickly. I thought this might be my last trip to Oia and staying in Chelidonia, but maybe I will be lucky enough to come again.

You should stay here. Chelidonia Traditional Villas is in a perfect spot in Oia, midway between the tourist-packed "sunset side" on the west and the less crowded eastern end. The view is unparalleled. Red bougainvillea on the left and right and pink in the middle, and a view to the amazing blue Aegean sea from a private outdoor sitting area. A decent breakfast is delivered in a charming wicker basket. The only drawback is the somewhat hard mattress. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and easily accessible via WhatsApp. If we come back we will stay here.

We recently stayed at Chelidonia Traditional Villas, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The location is excellent, providing stunning views of the Aegean Sea and a peaceful retreat while remaining conveniently close to local attractions. Having breakfast delivered to our room each morning added a delightful touch to our stay.

Excellent help from desk staff & Nened. Perfect suggestions for enjoying the island. Room was spacious & lovely with a gorgeous view of the Caldera.

Everything about our stay was perfect! Cars cannot access the hotel because it's on a pedestrian walkway, but the porter was waiting for us at a predetermined location and he carried our luggage all the way to the hotel. He walked us into the reception area and he carried our luggage down to our room (and back up on departure). The girls at reception were great! They gave us a map, suggestions, and even arranged transportation for us a few times. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! The view is simply spectacular! Breakfast is brought to you every morning in a wicker basket and you get to enjoy a light breakfast while looking at the Santorini Caldera. It can't get better than that!

Excellent hotel with amazing views and beautiful rooms. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. Would definitely book again if returning to Santorini. Highly recommended!
