An 18 year old property by the beach side of Cherai..It's so close to access the beach by walk of 50m. Rooms are arranged as villas with a sitout, small living area and a bedroom with attached bathroom having wet and dry area seperation..water heater provided, mini refrigerator and tv are there.spacious wardrobes to keep your essentials. Swimming pool for all I had only two drawbacks 1.The rooms had no wifi only public area have wifi accessibility. 2. Mosquitoes - Since the property is surrounded by water bodies, mosquitoes are there...So bring a mosquito repellent for your best.

It wasnt as nice as we thought .We recommend everyone to take cash with you if you are going in.Rooms were decent and tidy, but no kettle in one of the rooms that we took.Food is not up to the standard of a resort. You may feel like you are eating from a local teashop.Plus you have to pay it there itself. No towels in the pool area,no basic toileteries .You may get it if you ask for the same. Also no response when you try to call them.May be it is the way things are here.I would say keralites may be super happy but atleast for the foreigners if the management could consider the above said problems it will be a fantastic place to stay in Cherai. Location is good and the staffs were brilliant.

I loved the location. The resort is located just opposite to the beach in a quiet and calm place. The resort itself it a beautiful heritage space with lots of villa options, restaurant, spa and pool facilities. We booked the doctor's villa. The room was ok.. Could have maintained well, the bathroom was good and clean. The room had insects maybe it's the downside of the environment.. Lots of plants and stagnant waters. Only thing that I could not bear was their food they need to highly improve the food. We had our lunch there on the first day, except the fish nothing was good, even the fish was not worth for that price. The breakfast also was not good. Kind suggestion to look into the food and the taste. Otherwise it's a really good place to stay nearby to the beach.

I recently stayed at Sunrise Villa and had a generally positive experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, with modern toilets. The pool was nice, and the property is vast, situated next to the backwaters. However, the breakfast spread was minimal and just okay. The biggest letdown was the reception desk, where the staff seemed unprepared to receive tourists. They were unfriendly and lacked a welcoming smile. On a more positive note, the night reception staff were good, and the security personnel were friendly. One notable highlight was that I didn't encounter any mosquitoes in the room, which was a pleasant surprise given some reviews. I had even prepared a mosquito repellent just in case, but thankfully, it wasn't needed.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 child. The hotel charged us for all the guests but provided bed arrangements only for 2 adults. Later, they demanded an additional ₹1000 for an extra bed, which was disappointing. When you order any food in the Resort it is high price when compare to outside. One tea will cost Rs 52/- The service was not professional, and room cleanliness was just average. There was also an unpleasant garbage-like odor near the restaurant area. Overall, cleanliness and professionalism need to be improved. Note : Direct Booking Price will be high when compare to price in Make My Price. Please compare before booking. Swimming Pool is good. The Resort is located just opposite to the Chearai Beach.

The resort is misleading — Google shows it as 4-star, but the manager said it's actually 3-star. We paid 8000 for a poorly maintained room with no basic amenities like a dental kit. The food was terrible, and even the breakfast menu was very pathetic. We ended up eating from local tea shops. Prices were also unreasonable (a tea was 50). Overall, definitely not worth the money.

Very old resort. You will feel like entering into an old house. They provided a CRT tv, cable was not working, outside was fully flooded in the morning. With that you can assume how you feel. I booked it for 4K+ from agoda. But it is not worth for that.

Food hasn't met expectations but great for survival. Overall FnB service need to improve. Pool needs clearer water. Positives- super close to the beach, quiet and calm atmosphere, shower worlds, wifi works, TV works ( but limited channel) great location and property ( but plenty of room for improvement and maintenance)
