Many of the washrooms feature semi-open roofs and blurred doors, which despite aiming to enhance aesthetic appeal, result in a level of visibility that can make users feel uncomfortable. While the intention may have been to incorporate modern design elements, the layout and transparency compromise privacy, leading to an awkward experience. Additionally, upon our arrival, it was raining, and the overall cleanliness of the area was compromised. To improve the visitor experience, it would be beneficial to implement measures that ensure the space remains tidy and well-maintained, even during the rainy season.

The location is absolutely fabulous, offering a peaceful and scenic environment. We stayed in a spacious duplex villa, which was comfortable and had great potential. However, the property does require better maintenance. With proper upkeep, this place could truly be a gem. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay and hope to see improvements on our next visit.

I recently stayed at the resort and have mixed feelings about the experience. The property itself is quite old and could definitely benefit from better maintenance and some renovations. Certain areas show signs of wear and tear, and the facilities are not as modern or well-kept as one might expect. However, what truly stands out is the resort's location — it's absolutely beautiful and offers a peaceful, scenic environment that's perfect for relaxation. Additionally, the staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made the stay much more pleasant. Overall, while the resort could use some upgrades in terms of upkeep, the excellent service and lovely location do help balance the experience.

The place is located in a very catchy place in Cherai beach. They have plenty of parking. The reception could be more professional. The place is getting renovated as itnlooks like impacted byflood. But rooms are near and tidy. The walkway and premises need to be improved. The villas are giving total privacy. A better place to get away from daily chores.

The location is the biggest advantage Cherai beach Resort has. But they have completely squandered this advantage with poor facilities and poor service. The pictures on the internet are from a few years ago and not updated. Initially when I reached here the rooms was burning inside due to the sweltering heat that has been beating down in the summer. We switched on the a.c and when we returned from the beach side it was still not cool. I complained to the reception and they changed my room. When we went to the new room we were met with the same experience. We checked out on the same day and left. The property is poorly maintained. Outside the room there was stagnant water from a small artificial pond they had created which was home to all mosquitoes and bugs. Avoid going to this place at all costs. The location is amazing. It's just a stone's throw away from the beach but it isn't worth the money.

Disliked it. Poorly maintained resort. Average food quality. Their location is the only + point. Rooms are really old looking and poorly maintained, may be due to proximity to the beach which causes corrosion to most things they have. A childs knee was cut due to uneven and poor quality tiles in the swimming pool. Big No to the resort.

Disappointing Experience at Cherai Beach Resort I recently had the misfortune of staying at Cherai Beach Resort, and I'm extremely disappointed with the experience. Here's a rundown of the issues we faced: Room conditions - The room had a strong, unpleasant odor that lingered throughout our stay. - The furnishings were old and worn out, giving the room a dated feel. - The bed sheets and blankets were old, dirty, and had a bad smell. Property Conditions - The entire property looked old and neglected, with visible signs of wear and tear. - The property was not well-maintained, and it was clear that renovations were overdue. Pictures vs. Reality - The pictures on the booking application were completely misleading. The property looked nothing like what we saw in person. Rainy Season Nightmare - During the rainy season, the property was prone to flooding, and our room was no exception. Water seeped in, making the stay even more uncomfortable. Overall Experience - Our stay at Cherai Beach Resort was a huge disappointment. Given the state of the property and the rooms, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Rating: 1/5 stars Unless the resort takes significant steps to renovate and improve its facilities, I would advise potential guests to look elsewhere.

It was one of the best resort many years ago. Now it’s pathetic situation with no maintenance. To make things worse 1. Wifi is ONLY available in the common area. First time I see a property having such a rule. When they mention WiFi in the amenities, we cannot go and sit in their reception to access internet. It should be available in the room 2. No room service or a-la carte in restaurant, we had to buy the buffet. Elders hardly ate a chapathi and curry and had to pay around 530 is robbing 3. No toiletery other than a medimix soap and towels. Had to call reception for toilet paper as well. I will NEVER stay or recommend anyone to book this property ONLY good one on the property is the pool.
