One of the best meals of our trip. The food here does not play around and every dish was excellent. If they have the cold red pepper soup, absolutely order it. It was the standout. Even better than the food was the service. Arguably the nicest and most professional server in Athens, Linda, was an absolute pleasure to have waiting on us. We were initially concerned we couldn't be able to get a table for lunch but waltzed in at 1pm and had no problems securing a two top outside. I will absolutely be back -- this place is a total gem. Can't wait to return.

Great small plate restaurant, the flavours of dishes were very memorable. Smoky moussaka, very soft lamb stew with beans. Sweet tomatoes in the Greek salad and of course crusty soft bread you wipe your plates clean. Our server Linda is friendly and funny. She want to make sure we don’t leave a drop of flavourful salad dressing behind and she brought us on the house dessert (maybe because we return all the plates squeaky clean) !! 🥰 Beautiful Instagrammable Art Nouveau-ish dining room and outdoor seatings with cute playlist. No Amex tho 😭

One of the most memorable culinary experiences we’ve ever had in Athens! ❤️ Let me start with the gesture that truly touched us — I had asked in advance if the restaurant could prepare something small for my fiancée’s birthday, and they went above and beyond. They surprised us with a beautiful dessert served with a candle, and when they brought it out, they even played a birthday song with warm wishes. That moment, with the music and the smiles from the staff, made the evening incredibly personal and unforgettable. The cake itself was not only delicious but also one of the sweetest highlights of our trip. And the food itself? World-class, yet deeply authentic: – a chilled red pepper soup with trout, cucumber, and raisins — one of the most unique soups we’ve ever tasted, – classic Greek dishes like moussaka and meatballs — absolute perfection, with the real taste of Greece shining through, – a fava split from Feneos spread that paired perfectly with warm bread, simple but full of flavor. The atmosphere was just as remarkable as the food. The space is beautifully designed — elegant walls, lush greenery, and an impressive bar that immediately catches the eye. The background music throughout the evening was perfectly chosen and completed the experience without ever overwhelming the room. On top of that, the service was outstanding. The gentleman who looked after us was kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about the menu and Greek cuisine. The selection of Greek craft beers was excellent, and of course, the classic touch — free water at the table. This is a place that combines heart, flavor, style, and true Greek hospitality in the best possible way. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was! We chose it based on the great reviews and had a fantastic experience, from the food to the service. The waiter who welcomed and served us was incredibly nice, professional, and kind. The food we tried (all seafood) was truly excellent. The menu has lots of "tapas-style" dishes to share and try different things. Despite the French name, the dishes are 100% Greek. Highly recommended!

An extremely rare 5 stars from me. Perfect balance of great food and even better service. They know their market and they do it well. Busy, slightly boisterous, unpretentious, hearty, and flavoursome. Chilled red pepper soup with smoked trout, fava bean dip, and shrimp saganaki - everything was made with love and amazing flavour and little creative twists to the originals. Bonus brownie points for the little bottle of amazing extra virgin olive oil to go with the bread, just in case it was needed. It wasn't, but we had some anyway. Don't hesitate, walk in, ring and book, just eat here.

Absolutely amazing Greek food! We had a variety of Greek tapas — the octopus and anchovies were out of this world. The wine was top-notch too. George took excellent care of us — super friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations on both dishes and wine. And the dessert? Let's just say we were literally licking our lips.

We got a lovely seat outdoors across the street from the church and we enjoyed a delicious casual Greek meal, everything we ate was delicious, reasonably priced, and we had a delightful waitress who couldn’t have been sweeter. Recommend!

Located just off Mitropoleos Square is the quaint and beautiful Cherchez La Femme. Serving traditional, yet elevated, Greek small plates this local hotspot is a phenomenal place to stop for a quick lunch or a lengthy and indulgent dinner. There are plenty of tables outside for patrons keen to people watch, or a cool and tastefully decorated dining room inside for those wanting to escape the chaos of Athens. The food itself is stunning, every dish is uncomplicated but with an element of flair that raises it above the many tavernas you can find dotted around the side streets. We would recommend two dishes each for a sufficient meal or 3-4 per person if you are particularly hungry or have a big group. Lastly a note on the service; charming, attentive & faultless - we even received a delicious dessert on the house so they could ask our thoughts. All in all - would 100% recommend for anyone searching for a delicious place to while away the hours!
