One of the most memorable culinary experiences we’ve ever had in Athens! ❤️
Let me start with the gesture that truly touched us — I had asked in advance if the restaurant could prepare something small for my fiancée’s birthday, and they went above and beyond. They surprised us with a beautiful dessert served with a candle, and when they brought it out, they even played a birthday song with warm wishes. That moment, with the music and the smiles from the staff, made the evening incredibly personal and unforgettable. The cake itself was not only delicious but also one of the sweetest highlights of our trip.
And the food itself? World-class, yet deeply authentic:
– a chilled red pepper soup with trout, cucumber, and raisins — one of the most unique soups we’ve ever tasted,
– classic Greek dishes like moussaka and meatballs — absolute perfection, with the real taste of Greece shining through,
– a fava split from Feneos spread that paired perfectly with warm bread, simple but full of flavor.
The atmosphere was just as remarkable as the food. The space is beautifully designed — elegant walls, lush greenery, and an impressive bar that immediately catches the eye. The background music throughout the evening was perfectly chosen and completed the experience without ever overwhelming the room.
On top of that, the service was outstanding. The gentleman who looked after us was kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about the menu and Greek cuisine. The selection of Greek craft beers was excellent, and of course, the classic touch — free water at the table.
This is a place that combines heart, flavor, style, and true Greek hospitality in the best possible way. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!
