This hotel was perfect for me. Traveling solo I wanted to stay in a location where I felt safe. The room was small, but since I was out all day, the space was adequate me. Every day the room was serviced. The fruit in the breakfast basket was always fresh and more than enough to start a day of sightseeing. There are no elevators (my room was on the third floor), so this hotel would not be suitable for someone who cannot climb stairs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted a safe, clean, and economical place to stay in London.

Cherry Court Hotel is located in Westminster, about a 5 min footwalk from Victoria Station and a 15 min footwalk from Buckingham Palace. This alone makes it a great choice when staying in London for only a few nights. The hotel itself is not luxuriuos but I found it very cozy and clean. Yes the rooms are small but they do their job. It was surprisingly quiet at night for a big City like London, too. Now like other people have written, if you have huge trunks or are elderly getting up and down the small and rather steep stairs is not going to be easy. That is something to consider. The best thing about this hotel is Neha, she is very kind and welcoming and makes you feel at home at once. I was there as a solo female traveller and I felt very safe.

A lovely little B&B. Clean, comfortable, quiet and well run by the gracious , and most kind-hearted, Patel family. I always feel so welcomed and safe as their guest at the quaint Cherry Court Hotel. Location is great, near Victoria Station for trains, buses & underground. Little shops, pubs, coffee shops & grocery store 🛒🍾nearby. A 2nd home when I’m in London🥰🇬🇧

Best bargain I’ve had in a while! Clean room with easy access to the heart of Old London. The owners are lovely and friendly, they are onsite and were truly welcoming. Our room was attended to during the day while we were out, the breakfast basket with fruit and grain bars was a nice early morning treat.||The small room and bathroom was very well organized and very clean. Hopefully we can stay again one day.||Ronnie

Excellent 7 night stay. Kind, accommodating service. Every amenity required for a comfortable stay in London. Beyond the unmatched service of the Patel family what stood out for us was -firm, comfortable beds, -reasonable pricing -clean space Recommended!!!

The location is excellent-- short walk to Victoria station and coach station, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and lots of other sites. The owners are friendly and helpful. We've stayed here on both our London visits and have recommended it to friends!

It had a pleasant atmosphere. The business was true to its description. Family who own the business was there every time we needed them! Would recommend to people who are traveling on a budget and would like a centrally located clean, compact place to stay

Yelp
We found out about Cherry Court Hotel from a Rick Steves book. We had never visited London before. In my research, I realized Cherry Court had a fantastic price and the location near Victoria Station made it handy. The booking process was more involved than doing a usual online booking but not difficult: I emailed the owner to request certain days (about 6 months ahead of time) and had a reply in about 10 minutes saying the days were available and we needed to call to supply a credit card to pay for our first night. We did that promptly and had a choice of first or second floor. We went with 2nd, after asking which was quieter. I didn't hear from them again in advance of our dates but everything was ready when we arrived. A quick walk up the steep, narrow stairs, and we were in our cozy room. As tight as space was, it worked out well. The bathroom is itty bitty but the shower and toilet worked great and fresh towels were supplied each day; soap was supplied, but not shampoo or conditioner. The bed takes up much of the room. The mattress is good and I liked my memory foam pillow. I asked for a hair dryer at the front desk and it worked great. There are lots of plugs, UK three-prong and USB, on two sides of the room. They supply a nice fruit basket for breakfast each day; ours had 2 bananas, 2 small apples, 2 clementines, a Nature Valley granola bar, a pack of digestive biscuits or ginger biscuits, and 2 Capri Suns. There is also a carafe of water, drinking glasses, a hot water kettle and instant coffee, and a telephone. Also, downstairs by the office they have hot and cold water on tap. Noise wasn't a problem either from the street or other rooms. Heavy rain woke me up often one night, but that's not an issue on them. The room doesn't supply much social or work space; there was a table along a stairway landing if needed. However, that was a minor issue for us, as we planned to be out adventuring all the day long. If you want a room to allow you to hang out or have guests, you had best look elsewhere. As promised, the place was very convenient to Victoria Station. That was fantastic! There's even a decently sized Sainsbury's grocery store with long hours right at the most convenient station entrance. That makes it an easy stop to get toiletries or food. I would stay at Cherry Court Hotel again. Quarters may be tight, but that's the norm for London, and the people here are nice and there are positives galore. Rick Steves was right to recommend this place.

Yelp
We stayed with Neha and her family's B&B in December to celebrate a family birthday with a trip to London. We have visited London 3 times previously and every time we don't consider staying anywhere else but here because we always have a wonderful experience. Neha and her family are all warm, helpful, and hospitable. The location is in an ideal location close to Victoria Station. We traveled with our two boys and they always looked forward to the daily morning basket of fruits and biscuits. Thank you for an amazing stay and if we come to London again, we will be in touch.

Yelp
The price and location to Victoria Station and Coach earn high marks, as well as the ease in booking with the friendly people. The small room and bathroom do not matter as much if they serve the purpose of a good night's sleep, and they did. They provided a lovely food basket of fruits and snacks. They also graciously accommodated our extra bags at no charge the night before our stay, as we were busing overnight to Edinburgh for a day trip. Huge plus. We had 4 people and 4 beds in the basement floor, with just enough room to get by each other. You do need to walk down steps to access this room. Teeny cute sink in the shared room, with private and very small stall shower/toilet in its own space en suite. Downsides included an exterior door that did not lock. It led to a small foyer being used as an unappealing storage space. Most unpleasant, however, was the fact that the place positively reeked of cats. Musty, stale, cat hair air overwhelms the hallway areas. It is less so in the actual room, but as two of our travelers have animal allergies, this was a serious negative mark. Overall, you could certainly do worse than the Cherry Court for a few nights in London Victoria. They just need to tear out the kitty carpet and air the place out. The room itself was fine. It was a good find for our budget.

Yelp
I was traveling with friends to London for a few days, as we were looking to stay in the heart of the city. We did not want to waste money at an expensive hotel and found this hotel searching on-line. Our expectations were low going in considering it being a smaller budget value hotel, but were completely wrong. We felt at home the minute we checked-in and the location was perfect with Victoria Station right down the road. The sights, bars and restaurants were all centrally located. We knew coming in the rooms would be smaller, but perfect if you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay. The decor of the hotel and the rooms was contemporary and charming. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable with the places we wanted to go and the free Wi-Fi and breakfast basket in the morning was a great added bonus. The value for the rooms was great considering it being located in an expensive part of London. Definitely will stay again when travelling back.

Yelp
I stayed here in 2004 as a college student, and decided to spend two nights recently. I even ended up in the same room - a single on the top floor. Not much has changed here, which is both good and bad. They've clearly painted the room, and moved the bed around, but otherwise it all seemed pretty much the same. But, the price also hasn't changed much, which is amazing. The location is great - a few minutes walk from Victoria, on a quiet street, but near restaurants and bars. You can walk to the main tourist sites in 20-45 minutes, or obviously take the many buses and trains that are at Victoria. Check in on a Friday evening was quick and friendly. I got up to my room immediately (still no elevator, so beware if you're on an upper floor, and the hallways are narrow with steep stairs). The room was tiny, as I expected and remembered, but did have the basics - a bed which was small but comfortable, a small TV with plenty of channels, and a private bathroom. All of this for 65 GBP/night for the single room, with a breakfast basket (banana, apple, orange, and some other items). The negatives: WiFi was atrociously bad. When I could connect, which was almost never, it was slow and constantly dropped. Certainly don't expect to remain connected with the outside world from within the hotel. Plus, the shower - even at 4am, when I was seemingly the first person to take a shower, it would take 5 minutes for the water to heat up. And the shower had terrible pressure. As a base for London, it's again a perfect location. But, use it only to sleep - it's not a great place to come back to and relax after a long day. Plus, you'll need to go elsewhere to do any e-mails or research any tourist plans. And don't even think about staying here on a business trip.

Yelp
I stayed here almost 2 months ago. A good price considering the location, but be prepared to realize how small things are. The shower/bathroom was tiny, the bed was fairly petite too. There was no room to do anything besides lay in bed & sleep. However, the location was fantastic, the place was for the most part clean [though the walls really could have used a decent paint job--a fun color? maybe a light blue?] I really liked the breakfast they left for us every morning. Also the wireless was a definite winner in my book. That alone made the smallness worth suffering through. Good place to stay for the price & you could ask for a nice weekly rate if you plan on being there longer than a 5 days.

Yelp
This review is about five years late. Oops. It was my first time in London and though I had been warned of the sky high prices on everything, I still managed to find a great place to sleep. It's pretty near the trains if I remember correctly. The hotel, or rather it was more hostel-like, but homier, was run by a very sweet Indian couple. They informed my friend and me that we were the only occupants there. The place looked new or as if it had been very recently refurbished with new paint and floors, which could explain the vacancy. They gave us a big room with about 6 beds in it and a handy little plug-in tea kettle sat in the corner along with a basket filled with a selection of teas. When we woke the next morning, we discovered a fruit basket of goodies including snack bars outside our door! I love extras...and I especially appreciate it when people go the extra mile. I wrote them a letter about how much I enjoyed staying there and that I'd be back the next time I was in town. I still have yet to go back, but I will, and I'll stay at Cherry Court again!

Yelp
I've been here twice and would always recommend a stay at the Cherry Court Hotel in Victoria, London. Just a few steps away from Victoria station, you'll find everything you need in short distance. The room rates are totally acceptable if you compare it to other hotels in the area. We made reservations via phone and E-Mail and the staff is always very helpful. Whether you need a plug converter, a blow dryer or need to leave your luggage there after check-out. The rooms are tiny but if you're not planning ok staying in your room all day during your visit, it is totally fine. Bathrooms are clean, everything is satisfying. Area is very charming. Thanks Cherry Court for always letting me having a pleasant stay.

Yelp
Just stayed here last week. I have to echo the other reviews--it is important to realize just how small the rooms can be here. Ours was big enough for a medium-sized bed and a couple of feet of space either side of it and that was it. No furniture, nothing else. The bathroom was also very small. This isn't a sit-in-your-room-and-luxuriate hotel. However, I have to stress that we both liked it and would stay there again. They know what they're doing and they do it very well. It was quiet, conveniently located, near great restaurants, well taken care of, some good amenities, and a great price. The basket of packaged fruit, juice, and cookies every morning was perfect for tourists. We were also well taken care-of there. They held our luggage overnight when we went on a day trip to Bath. I left my tablet behind and they contacted me immediately and held it for a week until I was able to return to pick it up. The staff was pleasant, fun, and attentive. And again, great value. I'm looking at my credit card bill and I can't believe how little we spent on a week's worth of quality accommodations in London.

Yelp
Perfect location, friendly service, clean and dirt cheap for London. You need to have the right expectation when booking a room here. It's tiny...teeny tiny. This is not a place where you sit and relax in the room or at the hotel. But, hey, if you're on vacation you shouldn't be sitting in your room anyways. Get out and enjoy the city. Oh, and the bathroom has just enough room to turn around. There is no privacy so you better love the person you're sharing the room with. I would stay here again unless I hit it big and have loads of money to spend on my next vacation. On second thought, I might still stay here and then blow my monies on food.

Yelp
We came back a year later. Still a great location and now we know our way around a little better. Fun area near the Victoria Coach Station too.

Yelp
My sister and I staid here in January, and we had an excellent time! The room was comfortable and we had a breakfast basket everyday (fruit, juice, and digestive biscuits), It's a block away from the tube which was great for long days traversing through London. Just to note, you get a discount for using cash! Nearby on Elizabeth Street, there are some great restaurants and bakeries that we frequented during our stay. The host and hostess were super friendly and we chatted a couple times. All in all, if you are a traveler and are looking for a place to sleep and wash up while getting more than a hostel, this is the spot.

Yelp
I liked this place and it was in a great location near Victoria Station. Nice customer service and very clean. If it wasn't for the tiny room size, I would give it four stars. I would recommend it for singles only.
