Absolutely one of the best halal food spots we’ve visited! The food is incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced, making it such a great place for a satisfying meal. We ordered the bulgogi with rice and the kimchi stew with rice, and both were amazing — full of flavour, comforting, and perfectly cooked. Even the side dishes were so tasty and well-prepared. Every single item on the table was enjoyable. We also received a few free gifts, which was such a lovely and generous surprise! A special shoutout to Mrs. Cherry for her excellent service. She was warm, friendly, and made our dining experience even more pleasant. Another big plus is that this place provides a Muslim prayer room, and the restroom is equipped with a bidet, which is very convenient and thoughtful for Muslim customers. Highly, highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious Muslim-friendly meal. We will definitely come back again!

We came across Cherry Garden after visiting a toy shop around the corner during our recent family vacation in Seoul, and it turned out to be a lovely find. The owners were very kind and welcoming, especially towards our 4-year-old son, which made us feel comfortable dining there as a family. The restaurant has a cozy, homey atmosphere, and most importantly, the food is halal. The meal was served with a generous variety of side dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. We truly enjoyed the food, ambiance, and warm service. Highly recommended for Muslim travelers and families visiting Seoul. We would definitely come back again.

The food here is super good and absolutely delicious! 😍 They serve a lot of side dishes, all fresh and full of flavor, and every bite was just sooo good. You can also request extra rice, which is a big plus and makes the meal even more satisfying. After the meal, you get to enjoy free coffee, and honestly the coffee is very good, not just a basic one. ☕️ Such a nice touch! What I really appreciate is how Muslim-friendly this restaurant is. They have a clean toilet and even a prayer room, which makes dining here very comfortable and stress-free. Great food, generous portions, amazing side dishes, good coffee, and thoughtful facilities this place truly checks all the boxes. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend it to everyone! 💯✨

As a Muslim, finding a good halal restaurant while traveling truly feels like a blessing—and Cherry Garden is definitely one of them. “Cherry” is the English name of the owner, and she’s incredibly thoughtful in accommodating Muslim travelers visiting Korea. Don’t miss their signature ginseng pancakes! The side dishes are delicious too—I especially loved the anchovies, tofu, and garlic. They even have a prayer room available. Finding authentic Halal/Muslim-friendly Korean food near Dongdaemun can sometimes be a challenge, but Cherry Garden Seoul was an absolute gem! We visited for a late lunch/early dinner and were immediately struck by the homely and welcoming vibe of the place. The highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The Sajanim (owner) is incredibly cheerful and greeted our group of six wholeheartedly. Since we were a large group, we ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was sumptuous. They were even kind enough to top up our favorite side dishes upon request without any hesitation. As a parent, I especially appreciated how well they treated my children. They were so patient and even gave the kids candy as a sweet gesture! A surprise hit with the little ones was the Ginseng pancake—the Sajanim recommended it, and the kids absolutely loved it. If you are in Seoul and looking for a delicious meal with top-tier hospitality, do not miss this place. Thank you for making us feel so at home!

We had our first meal in Korea at this restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was very delicious, and the owner was incredibly kind. When we visited, my daughter had a cough, and the lady thoughtfully gave her a herbal drink. After learning that we had just arrived that morning, she served us free tea to help us recharge. She even gave us a small gift to take home—a heat pack that was very useful during our winter trip, along with ginseng tea. Highly recommended if you are in the Dongdaemun or Dongmyo area

This place is amazing if you are looking for authentic, cozy and home cooked feeling Korean food. As Muslims (or vegans) it is often hard to experience the true Korean kitchen, but this restaurant has your back. There are many options for any type of diet. Came here to try their new ramen cafe and eat some authentic korean food because we heard that it is a certified halal restaurant! We also ordered some of their famous menus like samgyetang, bulgogi and bibimbap. The meals came with plenty of side dishes, the prices are also cheap and the portions are big! The restaurant also provides prayer room so muslims can pray comfortably here. The overall taste of the food is good and the costumer service is top notch! Please come here whenever you’re in seoul and searching for delicious halal korean food!
