The hosts were fantastic and breakfast was delivered in a bag outside your door every morning and was perfect. A mini fridge full of drinks snack included within the price was brilliant. We stayed in June on the worst rainy week of the year and a good b&b made a huge difference. Mike even gave us a jump start when the battery on the car went flat without any hesitation before we left for home. Genuinely nice people. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic guest house. Very comfortable en suite rooms with stunning views of the lake. Lots of complimentary breakfast items provided, perfect for packing for a long walk. Mike is a lovely host who is always there to help. Games room is also a nice touch. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely couple of nights here with a cute lakeside view and great hospitality from the owner. Greeted when we arrived and gave us a good overview if the facilities and surrounding area. Had to change bedding due to my other half not disclosing prior to arrival but were changed promptly and I slept like a log! Parking onsite, relaxed lounge and quiet rooms meant we could come and go when we needed and really unwind after the walking and driving around. Breakfast was scrumptious and delivered promptly and the mini fridge was plentiful and encouraged to take snacks out if we wished! My first trip to the lakes and couldn't have been a more enjoyable base to explore from and rest.

It was our first time visiting the beautiful Ulleswater Lake. We will definitely be visiting again. Unfortunately, we certainly wont be considering this guest house. We received awful treatment from the owner as we got lost and had clearly taken a wrong turn into his car park. Not only was the owner extremely unhelpful, he was incredibly rude to me, my partner and two young children. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!

Made to feel very welcome mike came out to greet us and made us feel very welcome, excellent place to stay, really friendly, brillant breakfast and great view of the lake. Really helpful and make your stay as memorable as they can would highly recommend

Top notch B&B. Great quiet location. Very nice helpful owners. Lovely clean rooms. Free sauna. Lounge with TV, books, pool table and board games. Great breakfast option delivered to your room. Well stocked mini fridge in your room topped up daily. Highly recommended 😁👍🏻

Well what can I say other than AMAZING Service! Clean and comfortable rooms with great views, the staff were very polite and were always happy to help! Fresh homemade breakfast delivered to your room as well as a snack fridge to make sure you don’t go hungry 😋 Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

A great place to stay when visiting the lakes. The guest house is fabulous and the hosts were absolutely the best, nothing is too much trouble and really delightful people.
