What It's Like to Ski All 15 of Utah's Ski Resorts in One Day

"Cherry Peak is known for offering night skiing and is one of the newer ski areas in Utah, having opened in 2015. It was one of the 15 resorts visited during a ski trip across all of Utah's resorts in a day." - Tim Neville

You see this mountain from the road and think “I wonder what it’s like at the top” so I went and it was the coolest trail I’ve ever been on! We went up from high creek to the top and went down the Cherry peak trail. 11.4 miles in total, so pretty tricky.

A pretty hike from High Creek Trailhead with lots of wildflowers and a stream with some waterfalls. On the lower section before the beaver pond, the trail is mostly shaded and easy to hike, but a few of the bridges are washed out. The rest of the hike is in the sun, so bring sunscreen. Water is available at High Creek Lake, but it needs to be filtered.

This is a great mountain, especially to scramble up from the east side.

We lost the trail in the snow but once we got up on the ridge it was a short hike through the snow. The view from the peak was just incredible. It would have been even better if there wasn’t spray paint all over the summit. Also please be careful of the very large cliff at at the top.

Fantastic peak that can be accessed from multiple directions.
