We had the most beautiful wedding here and are so grateful to Melissa and the team at Cherry Valley. The venue was stunning and the perfect size for our group of ~100. There was enough space to comfortably fit a dance floor, room for a bar, DJ, and photobooth. The golf course provides a relaxed, romantic setting. Unfortunately it was too hot and humid for us to enjoy the outdoors much, but they cranked up the AC and made sure it was comfortable inside so that is what was important for our day. Our guests remarked at how delicious both the cocktail hour and main meal were. Melissa was able to accommodate even our most obscure requests for our cross-cultural wedding. She worked with the best local vendors and made everything smooth along the way. Can’t say enough good things. Go with CVCC for your wedding!

Lovely place for an event. Attended to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mother of God Joy of All Who Sorrow church of Princeton. I ate the chicken and it was tasty. There were also plenty of staff on hand for on the spot needs.

The club has very good facilities for many sports like:- Golf, Indoor Golf Simulator, Lawn Tennis, Pickle Ball, Bocce Ball, Basketball Court, Swimming Pool, Gym, Yoga Classes etc. For young kids there's Creche and Swings, Slides etc. CVCC is having a very good Bar and a nice restaurant which serves a variety of options including vegan & vegetarian dishes. Ample free parking space is available.

In January, I had the opportunity to help out with an event at Cherry Valley Country Club, and although it was my first time there since I’m not from the area, they completely exceeded my expectations. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making the event setup seamless. On top of that, the hors d'oeuvres that were passed around were delicious! Thank you, Cherry Valley Country Club, I hope to experience your hospitality again!

Staff is very helpful and accomodating. We hosted a bridal shower brunch here. Room is very well lit with natural lighting from tall windows across whole back wall, views if golf course make an amazing backdrop.

Beautiful location both inside and out. Small ballroom but in nice weather there is a large assortment of outdoor seating...all of this with views of the golf course.

Yelp
I worked there for four years from October 2013 to August 26, 2017, The food was excellent created by chef Chris Carpenter and by his sous chef Espin. As I see that Espin Is executive chef they have the best qualified chef available pretty simple reason he gives us all to a place he loves or he would not have been there for so long. I left my own reasons it was never the members it was the management and Club Corp's, Lack of responsibility for hiring the best general managers possible alex Evans was the best I had ever worked for I do not know the general manager they have now so I cannot grade him, I'm a restaurant owner's son therefore I know who is good and who is bad I know which restaurant deserves praise and which people of culinary arts deserve no mention the people I take care of never have a bad meal because I know my trade. Including the weddings I worked the head tables I took care of the parties I waited for the bat mitzvahs and so on and so forth if you don't have something that good to say about someone you should say nothing at all but I was very happy for 4 years why they did not like me that's their problem my reputation is untarnished I'm the best. I missed the children I took care of I missed the families I served I took care of them the best I can as they were young ladies and gentlemen and some of them have now gone on to college and graduated. Some of married and there are some members who have passed on to new life in Christ. My first general manager Quiznos from New Jersey he was from Ohio, name escapes me, but he wasn't suited for dealing with children. I am no father, but I raised partly two children, so I can type this review. I wish Cherry Valley always the best and they know I am there if they need a champion to speak for them God bless you and good luck in all your endeavors

Yelp
This is for wedding held at cherry valley in Oct 3023. Very pleased with food, support in planning and facility. Both Melissa who coordinated event with daughter and Tina who managed the food and drink were top notch. Everything went as planned, could not be happier. Food, facility, service and wait staff were all 5 stars

Yelp
Food was pretty decent, a little overpriced. Service was great; my friend ordered the steak frites, but when it came out it was extremely overdone. Even so, we told the waiter and they got another one right away. Great atmosphere and experience!

Yelp
Long time full member of CVCC and supporter of the club until Invited took over. New management has not been responsive to membership concerns regarding golf tee times and other issues. They are now limiting memberships and will only allow 1 person per membership to book on weekends. In addition, they have adopted a punitive approach to no shows by billing the person in the 1st spot a cart fee charge for all members of the foursome who do not show. It is easy enough for the club to bill these individuals and this policy is absurd. In addition, management was not transparent about these changes and is unwilling to make concessions to the membership. They maintain that these are corporate wide policies which members have found is not true. Many members are boycotting. We have lost 3 wonderful golf pros in 9 months and the club has been unable to keep a good chef. Very telling. Great club now, sadly, in jeopardy. I do not even think of CVCC when making plans to dine out. Sad. On a positive note, the course is in great shape due to the efforts of our golf course superintendent Greg. The new gym is beautiful, tennis facility is thriving and the pickle ball courts are state of the art. The staff is wonderful. Hopefully we will not continue to lose good people.

Yelp
Management both at the Cherry Valley Country Club and senior management at Invited are more interested in selling new memberships then they are keeping long time members happy. Recently they made changes that limits family memberships from booking more than one time during peak tee times. Essentially if I book a tee time to play with three others my wife cannot book a time to play with her friends during those hours. We pay a lot more for a family membership than an individual one. Why take away rights? Only possible answer is they are trying to bring in a large number of new members. This is one of several changes and they couldn't care less how they have upset us.

Yelp
Don't be fooled bt older reviews. Revolving door of management. Most recent doesn't understand how to run a club, manage staff and they just don't care about members. Cutting every dollar they can at the expense of member experience.

Yelp
Invited Clubs (formerly ClubCorp) took over management of CVCC 10 years ago and for most of that time has done a good job and invested in the club and golf course. Over the past 3 years Club management has been increasingly insensitive to members interests and have created an environment that is detrimental to member enjoyment of the club. This insensitivity goes beyond the local GM and up to the Regional VP management level at Invited Clubs. The members sincerely hope that this attitude of management changes quickly before the member experience deteriorates any further.

Yelp
I visited Cherry Valley for a wedding. The site appeared generic for a country club from the outside. I was disappointed with the liquor selection available and one female bartender was particularly unexperienced. The plated dinner salad was delicious - I loved the candied nuts and the salad was nicely dressed. The plated salmon was stock. I cannot comment in the grounds or outdoor spaces, as it was down pouring throughout the entire event.

Yelp
This country club was great, it's very beautiful and it's a perfect venue to have a wedding, a graduation party or any family get together. The food here was pretty good, it was buffet version for me. There was plenty of options a long with a nice bar too. There's the restaurant as well, and also nice outside seating. The golf course looked like they were well kept and would be a great course to golf at. I'd recommend this place for a wedding or any family party!

Yelp
We hosted our ten-year high school reunion at Cherry Valley Country Club. Given what a numbers game these events can be, they could not have been more accommodating and consultative throughout the planning process. The room itself well-lit with gorgeous food displays (including a great cheese board and raw bar) and a perfectly-placed dance floor. They even put heat lamps outside so that folks could get fresh air or step away from the music. Everyone had a wonderful time -- I would certainly recommend Cherry Valley for similar events!

Yelp
Cherry Valley Country Club was a fantastic choice for our wedding reception. After meeting with coordinators at many wedding reception venues, we were struck by Erin Scanlon's professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Though she was promoted to a position at another club before our wedding, she returned to make sure that everything at the reception went as we hoped it would. Erik Bramble did a superb job, and Jamie Scanlon helped with many of our last minute requests. They listened to us, were patient, and very accommodating. The food was excellent, and we could really tell that they cared about making sure that we had a great day. We highly recommend Cherry Valley as a wedding reception venue.

Yelp
Challenging Rees Jones design with long rough and plenty of sand. Fast greens with quite a bit of break. The size of the greens are deceptive from the approaches. If you don't play the pin placements, you're fighting to avoid 3 putts. Excellent practice facility, great service, friendly staff, and a beautiful clubhouse. Definitely would return if I had the opportunity.

Yelp
I recently joined CVCC - Food is outstanding, golf course challenging, every staff member is very service focused, diverse ages in the membership, terrific social events.... I can't say enough about the Club. Club Corp bought the property a few years back which means it is not an equity club - a good thing as no assessments will be levied which is very typical in an equity club. And as a Club Corp entity you have reciprocal privileges in the "network" of Club Corp Country Clubs / Dinner Clubs / etc There are over 300 owned, operated and alliance clubs you have access to around the world. For Country Clubs, you pay only cart fees at the courses, and have access to exclusive dinner clubs , hotels, etc. It is worth a look at this club at the very least!

Yelp
My fiancée and I were trying to plan a wedding remotely with very little lead time (there was an illness in my family and we were trying to get married during a period of remission). I called Cherry Valley Country Club to see if it would be possible to have our wedding in their lovely space and spoke first to Cathy and then Liz Marino. Cathy was super helpful and immediately returned my call, giving me preliminary details and putting me in touch with Liz. At the time, I had not spoken with many coordinators yet, but I knew almost immediately that Liz was the perfect person to help us during a hectic and condensed planning period. She was extremely organized (sending me pictures of the space & menus, giving options for decorators), detail-oriented (listening carefully to the details we would be interested in customizing ourselves), resourceful (giving us contacts for vendors they have worked with in the past), and overall putting me at ease that our wedding plans would be in great hands. While we haven't seen the space in person, it looks gorgeous from the pictures she sent as well as the pictures from other weddings we found online. Liz spent an hour on the phone to give us complete details of the package and to answer all of my questions, and I was so so grateful to have peace of mind in her help. Based on other reviews from weddingwire, I completely trust CVCC to follow up on every single detail of the wedding ceremony and reception. Sadly, after our conversation, we ended up having to postpone the wedding for both family health and financial reasons, but we look forward to returning to plan our wedding here with Liz and Cherry Valley Country Club next fall. An exceptional and gorgeous venue all around, I cannot recommend this space highly enough.
