CherryArts is an awesome venue with artists from around the US with a lot of different styles of art. The weather was absolutely beautiful throughout the weekend of this art festival. The staff were very friendly, nice bar and food options, and awesome atmosphere and live music. I had such a great time at this wonderful gem in Cherry Creek during 4th of July weekend. The Venue goes from July 1st-July 3rd as well. So, to sum it up, awesome venue. I will definitely return next year and would highly recommend coming here.

CherryArts invites you to apply to be one of 255 exhibitors at the 2022 event, a world-class and award-winning celebration of the visual arts. CCAF enjoys an attendance of more than 150,000 visitors to the Cherry Creek North Shopping District in Denver, Colorado. The three-day event gives patrons the rare and special opportunity to meet and purchase art from exhibiting artists. Our goal is to provide the public and our selected exhibitors an experience of unparalleled quality. This is your chance to find out first-hand the accolades as reported by fellow artists: historically very high art sales potential (estimated at $19,400 per artist via 2021 Artist Survey), consistently high national rankings, on-site artist amenities/hospitality and a new jury panel each year. Higher than average sales are attributed to the event’s location in Cherry Creek North, an educated art-buying audience and over 1 million in multi-media marketing campaign. Apply now for an incredible exhibition opportunity to sell art at the 31st annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival: July 1, 2, 3, 2022! Additional proceeds from the Arts Festival help CherryArts to fulfill its year-round mission to support artists and arts education, to nurture future generations of art supporters through programs that provide access to the arts.

Had a great time at the Cheer Arts festival! So many fabulous artists and vendors for all the tastes in the crowd!

It's great experience.

This is a fantastic organization that is focused on bringing art to everyone. Through an educational outreach program, they involve the youth in our community. The people involved in this organization are dedicated to its success. I proudly support Cherry Arts as a volunteer and I encourage everyone to support it too!

We are locals who visit the festival every year and happy it's back in original location. Unfortunately, having it on only one main street (instead of two with multiple side streets) made it terribly crowded and hard to get into booths. Music is always great!

David M.

Google
As an artist this is one of the best shows I do when i get in. It drawers the best artists from the art fair circuit. The crowds are there to buy and enjoy the event. Yup, it is often hot, but there are plenty of places to eat and drink and cool off. That said I am a storm chase photographer and June is storm season in CO and temps can vary drastically plus with the Sept Stanley show I think they have chosen the right months. I do wonder if folks are away for the July 4th weekend but it doesn't seem to effect attendance, so I guess not. Hope to see you there!!

Google
The Arts Festival is great! I go every year and I am looking forward to visiting the booth of one of my favorite artists at the festival again this year, Richard Wilson. He is fabulous! Hopefully the officials will go back to banning dogs again. It is far too crowded to have dogs on leases tripping people not to mention the poor abused dogs walking on burning asphalt. Just common sense.

Yelp
The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is an annual show happening during the July 4 weekend. This show was voted number one of the nation. It is an excellent juried art show with all types of artwork to view. I suggest getting there early as the crowds continue to grow the later it gets. We arrived shortly after 9 AM. Even though the show begins at 10 AM, many of the artist booths were open and ready for viewing. This was nice because there were no crowds at all. However, by 10:30 AM, it was pretty packed. The other option is to arrive closer to the noon hour. You do, however, run the risk of getting caught in a afternoon thunderstorm. We did notice as we were leaving around the noon hour that the crowds had dispersed somewhat. It also gets quite warm in that area. The thunder heads were looming above as we were leaving. This is a top notch show. So many excellent artists to talk to and see their works. Admission is free. There are approximately 7 blocks of art! There is lot parking for a fee or limited street parking, which can be difficult to find.

Yelp
BEAUTIFUL ARTS FESTIVAL During a recent visit to Denver, we went to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. It was a large street festival located along 1st Avenue across the street from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center mall (large parking garage $3 festival parking). This was a very well curated arts festival that included over 250 artists. While the art was clearly out of our budget, we appreciated the quality and variety of art. The collage and textile art and the kinetic sculpture were incredible. Even the food trucks were well chosen. We enjoyed our delicious and well prepared chicken gyros that were as good as what you would get at a table service Mediterranean restaurant. The Cherry Creek North business community will be hosting other weekend events throughout July and will close out the summer with the Smash Fine Arts Festival.

Yelp
It's done. If this festival can survive another year --- good luck. The gloom on the No sales- artists faces spike volumes . I've been going here (native of Colo) for a very long time. It used to be classy, great restaurants set up food booths, great art , great music, and other interests. It was classy. It's now like going to the adams county fair . Or maybe even one step up from civic center park summer fest. Whomever was (is) the president of the CCAF- you need to step down. Will never be back.

Yelp
Every single year it's the same ole song. Hot as hell with outside with no affordable good looking art! Next year we'll more than likely skip!

Yelp
Headline - "Artists take over Cherry Creek North!" The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is a perfect opportunity to view an extensive variety of art in all forms. There's a lot of glass, ceramics, photography, paintings, and of course jewelry - it is CCN after all. What makes any art festival special to me is that one has the option to meet and talk with the talented artists who have put it out there for all of us to judge; the artists will discuss their vision, what inspires them, or just share in a laugh - very cool! The 200+ artists are culled from all over the country and they must be selected in order to be included in the Festival so the quality is very high. In addition to the art there is music, cooking demos, and festival type food. Be prepared to sweat since it is almost always hot and sunny; there definitely is some creative fair type attire, as well as a lot of skin, on display in addition to the art. The former is at times as impressive as the art. You can escape the heat by visiting one of the many restaurants in the area to enjoy a cold adult beverage and to use their facilities instead of the fragrant portable toilets. This is a wildly popular event so be ready to dodge the massive crowds and watch out for the stroller brigade since they will not watch out for you. Parking can be difficult but you can park for free in the Cherry Creek Mall and walk across the street to the festival. If you choose to park in the Cherry Creek North neighborhood please watch out for the permit zones and definitely don't park on my lawn. Have fun! From the Cherry Creek Arts festival website: There are three $5 "Festival Premier Parking" on-site locations, each benefiting the Arts Festival: 1) The Janus Capital Group building garage at 151 Detroit, 2) The Clayton Lane garage at 2nd and Columbine, and 3) The Whole Foods parking structure at 2nd and University. The Cherry Creek Shopping Center offers free parking. Please observe all City of Denver parking signs in the neighborhood surrounding the festival.

Yelp
What a cluster fuck. Only one parking entrance to the garage. We said screw it after seeing that they had tents set up at the university entrance and it was closed, and parked a couple blocks away. Also why was it in the parking lot of the mall. ‍. Poor management.

Yelp
The Cheery Creek Arts Festival is the premiere arts festival in Denver. It takes place in early July and includes blocks and blocks of artists from throughout the United States. It's a great place to spend a day looking at art. It's certainly not a place to go if you are looking for cheap art pieces. It's really catering to high end customers, but it's fun to grab a cocktail and wonder the streets looking at art. It's usually crowded and parking can be hard to find, but it's still a blast to check things out. Plenty of food and drinks are available as well. Dress accordingly, since it's usually very hot during this time. I don't go every year, but it's fun when family and friends come to town.

Yelp
Dealing with difficulty things in life can take over in ones spiritual mind. That's why the art festival in Cherry Creek shopping center can certainly strengthen those values and how you perceive the love of art. This festival had very welcoming attributes and contributed most to society by delivering us the education of exploring our creative side. There are many shapes and forms of art that you can discover here. I noticed pottery, clay molds, jewelry, boutiques, scarfs, hats and center pieces. They were mainly a large gallery as a whole. I met a very inspiring artist-- Bob Docette who made me discover the beauty of fantasy painted canvas and butterflies. I was so in love with his work, that now i had recently purchased a painting of $1,000!! But got a grand discount and I will be the owner of one of his original works in about 8 weeks or so. They have lots of food trucks around, waiting to serve people lots of amazing foods. I think I shall be enjoying my time and coming to this event as a soul changing purpose.

Yelp
Hopefully next year's (2022) festival, will be returned to it usual Cherry Creek location. I'm glad they were able to pull something together this year, but the mall parking lot was really really really depressing. Poorly run.

Yelp
People love to dis this event, claiming that it's too hot (like the weather is a controlling factor), and that most of the art is crap. The quality of the art is a matter of opinion and I admit that some of it just weird and some is kind of boring. Taking into account however is the fact that this is still the second largest Arts Festival in the country (Ann Arbor is the largest) and it's a juried event with only 10% of the 2,000 artists accepted. The event has become much better organized over the years. The first year, 1991, each block had booths set up on both sides of the street creating a narrow path down the middle. With the crowds (and mass of strollers) trying to actually get into a booth was almost impossible. Now however, booths are lined up on only one side of each street which makes navigation much easier. There is everything from serious woodworking - a magnificant ($15,000) door which would require a multi-million dollar house to be constructed around it, and a booth with hand carved wooden guitars, to stunning (seriously) water colors and oil paintings. One booth had oil paintings of food, including donuts which was almost impossible differentiate from a photograph. There is also some good and interesting photography, although I must admit, if I see one more photo of the gargoyles on top of the Chrysler Building (will it be called the Fiat Building now...hmmm) I may hurl. Lots of mixed media and what I like to call "whimsy" art like metal flying pigs and a tank sculpture (for your front yard). I admit, I had to shake my head at the booth with pots made from colorful garden hoses. I'd like to question the jury about that one... Then there are the jewelry booths, which always have gaggles of females lined up three deep to the dismay of spouses standing in the shade praying that the wife does not have to have another bauble. Some of the jewelry is really creative and beautiful - some of it, not so much. Still, the CCAF as an annual event has some great, and affordable art. There are bargains. A friend of mine picked up a large beautiful hand-blown glass bowl for only $150! Since artists set their own prices you need to pay attention as a similar glass creation from another artist will set you back $800 or more. For those who just think that there are not enough "interesting" people to watch, HELLO, this is Cherry Creek not Soho. Get over it. Do what we do, show up early, don't get caught up in going into every booth, buy something you like and can afford and make sure to have a reservation at a local CC restaurant for lunch (eating standing up or sitting on a curb at the food court may support the Festival, but it's not my idea of a lunch).

Yelp
A little warm today but still a great time. Awesome art, food vendors and restaurants (slinging terrific food and beverages) and the the crowd couldn't be cooler. Hope I'm in town next year for this.
google avatar

Yelp
For some reason it's always 100+ degrees when it comes time for the Cherry Creek Arts Fest, but I can't hold the weather against this great festival. Anything that can get me to stroll along the blacktop on a sweltering summer day has got to be worth 5 stars. I like to walk from tent to tent pretending I'm rich and can actually afford to bring some art home. A funky sculpture here, a beautiful painting there and a huge crystalline photograph are exactly what I need to spruce up my manse. When I'm done feeling hoity-toity, I buy an ice cream cone, scout out a shady spot and watch the entertainment in food tent row.
google avatar

Simone R.

Yelp
I have gone to this event for as long as I can remember, however as time is going on it has gotten hotter and hotter each year. I think one thing that would really help this festival is if there were tents over the streets or if it was moved to somewhere like the convention center where everything could be inside so that everybody can enjoy the artwork and not focus so much on the heat! I am always very impressed with the art there, but this year didn't get to enjoy much because everyone was overheating with the 97 degree weather
google avatar

Christian B.

Yelp
I have to agree with other reviewers. This place is good to hang around in if you have nothing else planned. It can get very hot with the July sun bearing down on you. Unless you get here early you'll be hard pressed to find parking close by. The artwork for sale is extremely expensive, that is unless you have tons of money burning a hole in your pocket. If you're into free samples, there are plenty to be had and the best part was that I got paid to test drive the new Toyota's they had there.

Yelp
Never been to Cherry Creek, and the day of the Art Festival seemed like a good time to pop my Cherry Creek cherry. But damn son, was I not impressed! So this festival consists of a lot of artists booths with highly mediocre work; with blocks and blocks of booths, I think I stopped at one of them maybe? I was looking around, but nothing seemed to catch my eye..and what I did see was simply too expensive to even be considered. Also, not a huge fan of the 100 degree weather, although the thunderstorm and heavy winds that sent the people scattering at about 3pm caused an interesting spectacle. Anyway, beyond that, the festival did have a lot of people handing out free marketing stuff (me included...want a free Yelp fan??) so that's always a perk. Still, for all that, I like events like these and think there should be more of them - even if this one didn't quite live up to par - so the CCF gets its 3rd star. ----- Oh damn, I wasted my 350th review on this dig? Sheeeeit

Yelp
This being my first experience at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, I was surprised to see a variety of things: 1. The crowds. Compared to the People's Fair, I saw a lot less people, and weird people i might add. 2. Our booth. It was located right on 2nd and Steele, right in the Social Media area, making us easy to see and our Wheel o' Yelp helped to attract passer by's. 3. The Art :) so unique and pretty. I was temped to buy alooooot of what i saw. 4. Pups. This now being a pet friendly event, I saw a wide variety of pups ranging from labs, to pugs, all sporting yelp schwag after visiting our booth :) 5.Security. I felt very safe and watched over, which was way better than the People's Fair. 6. Sooooo many yelpers ;) always the best to see :) I'm sure we'll return next year :)

Yelp
The variety of artists and the quality of the works is impressive for this type of display. By far the best art show I've been too in a long time. Love the outdoor setting. Nobody was smoking as far as I could tell (thank goodness) and everything was very well organized. We went two days in a row just so we didn't miss anything. Another reviewer commented that the festival seemed to have a dark overtone. While I certainly didn't skip those booths, there was plenty of uplifting work too. The photography section I found a bit lacking (some very good, more not so good (i.e., more popular) works) but that's probably because I am a photographer myself. What stood out for me were the broad variety of ceramics and glass art. Overall I really enjoyed the show. I made connections with quite a few new artists and look forward to following their work - and seeing them and others next year.

Yelp
A fine mix of art from across the nation. It's not cheap (though there are some interesting bargains to be found), but it's rare we go there without finding something to pick up. Plenty of food and drink opportunities, too, from sponsored booths of lemonade or water or beer or booze, to the many eateries and drinkeries in the area. It gets crowded and, during the 4th of July weekend, sometimes beastly hot. Plan on arriving early (10-10:30 works) to get decent parking and take advantage of what coolth and light crowds you can.

Yelp
Incredible pieces of work and delicious restaurants nearby. My mother and I had a wonderful 4th enjoying the talent that Denver had to offer
google avatar

Yelp
There was one artist in particular that stuck out to me and that was because he had waterfront views of the ocean. No joke, the oil on canvas (I think) hand-drawn images looked so much like the real thing, that I thought the paintings were photographs until I got up closer to see how much the paintings were. The prices were hard to believe as well, but the point of the story is that I got to see this amazing foreign substance called water, which comes from this big scary gooey place called the oshon, I mean, ocean. I have been dying to Feng Shui out my house by having a water feature, and one of those paintings would of done the trick, except I would of not been able to pay my rent for the next 6 months, but sometimes, as many women know, you suffer for beauty. Once again, I was failed to be impressed by another one of Denver's fairs, art shows, and booth shopping. I felt like I had seen all of the vendors before, and there were really only a couple of artistic booths that I personally thought were authentic, original, and worth pointing at. The food options were good, their was live music, and free goodies here and there. I would have enjoyed speakers along the streets where the vendors were... So I could groove out to the tunes, even if I was five or six blocks away from the live show. * Star one for bringing art into the communities ** You are a nice person star two is for bringing community together *** Wow, that is amazing star three is for inspiring people to look into their creative interests **** Wow that was easy star four is for easy walking streets and easy to find your way around The worst part of the fair, as always, was the parking... But I should have been biking it anyway.

Yelp
In the past, I've avoided the Cherry Creek Arts Festival like the plague but I found myself there this weekend because I scheduled an eyebrow appointment in the area. Much to my surprise, parking wasn't completely horrible on Saturday morning of the festival. I found street parking a few streets up off Josephine and walked over. Luckily it was overcast and not too many people were there and I had a delightful time walking around the festival. Artists from all over, various food and drink stands (including a free water station) and a nice flow to the entire event. I would definitely go in the morning so you don't hit a major influx of people and can enjoy the festival at your own leisurely pace.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
I was surprised at how the crowd here didn't make me feel crowded. There are lots of people, but they seem to avoid bumping into one another or being impatient when another person stops right in front of them to check out some piece of art. Speaking of the art, it is indeed very nice. Unfortunately almost everything is incredibly unaffordable for anyone that I went to the festival with. I mean like it seems that it was all marked way up from similar things we've bought at other art festivals or galleries. I'm especially looking at you blown glass vendors. I'd say it's a nice way to spend a day outside, but I doubt I'd ever buy anything from the festival because I can't see myself spending that kind of dinero at a festival.
google avatar

Brittany H.

Yelp
I dig the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, even if I've only every purchased a water or lemonade. Because seriously, $3000 for a painting's still a bit out of my price range. But you know what? I don't walk into a museum expecting to purchase anything (although some of those Monets would look great on my walls). And that's kind of how this arts festival is: enjoy a walk through the streets of Cherry Creek and admire the amazing and varied talents of artists from across the country. And until I can afford that $3000 modern art painting, I'll continue to sip my lemonade and gaze upon truly awesome pieces each summer. Pro Tip: It's ALWAYS hot at this festival! And seems to always rain! So be prepared for both scenarios.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is an excellent way to spend the day. The warmth of the sun as you walk all of CCN and admire/purchase photography, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and other unique items is wonderful. The artists are there talking to everyone about their beautiful creations and offering us a glimpse into their creative minds. I found that there was quite a bit of abstract art, if you're into the abstract the Cherry Creek Arts Festival is just your thing. I found most of the art to be highly priced based on what I would spend on art at this point in my life. We all know a great piece of art is priceless, unfortunately I have not come into that part of my life where I can't look at the price tag (one day). Crowds are inevitable and in order to make the best of the crowds I suggest you make it to the festival early in the day or late in the afternoon, duh! The typical sponsors are there, the car and cell phone companies selling a chance for a free something in order to get your email. Funny enough I was able to test drive a Camry and received a $25 free Visa gift card for my time (not bad for ten minutes of my time). Dress for the weather, 2013 was during a brutal heat wave and the sweat was definitely dripping down my back for the majority of the day. It's worth a visit, and for me it's worth a visit every year to see if something speaks to me enough for me to hand over a check with my signature.
google avatar

Sheila Y.

Yelp
First off: When your there forgo the food booths and go up a few blocks to Little Ollie's. Next: Prepare for sweltering heat and dress accordingly. Then: Enjoy the wonderful and exciting art. This place is really a gem for the burgeoning artist and those who can afford their craft. I have to say that as of yet I have only bought pieces of jewelry, but once I start that big firm job I am going to make it a point to fly out for this festival. Like the others say: bring your wallet, but be careful; it is hard to resist!
google avatar

Vince D.

Yelp
To be honest, Cherry Creek is not my usual 'hood. But that doesn't mean they can't throw a kick-ass arts festival. Unlike the folks who reside in Cherry Creek, I can't afford to buy most of the artwork here, but hey, it's no crime to look. And anything that gets people together outside in the summer has got to be a good thing.
google avatar

Yelp
I go every year and every year it's the same: crowded, hot, with tiny dogs and wondering tots--yet, it's great! The best artists in the area gather at one place for one weekend: July 6, 7, and 8 in Cherry Creek North. It's an art gallery outside--plus, you can grab a beer and get a tan! I"ll be there!
google avatar

Amy J.

Yelp
If you're looking for unique art from all over the US and Canada, this is your festival. You can walk for several blocks to see all kinds of art to strike your fancy. If the weather is hot, you can grab some food and drink and hang out in the Beer Garden. We sampled a few different food items and stopped at one of the local pubs before calling it a day. Go on a nice day and I'm sure you'll find something you like. There wasn't too much local art, but a ton of different types of art from different cities. Go early to avoid the crowd and the heat.
google avatar

Rebeca R.

Yelp
Super neat way to spend some time! Beers: 6$ for a premium 20 OZ (awesome) Art: $$$$ , but free to look at People watching is great, there is usually a decent crowd. There are some good, and some annoying musical performances. Parking is a bitch, unless you are up for a lil half mile walk (which fortunately most of us are) before and after walking around the fest. The art varies depending on your tastes, but you better believe it is all pricey! They must charge a fortune for a booth space, but it is cherry creek after all. Some of the artists were cramazing (crazy amazing)! I hope the rain didn't destroy too much. The best part this year was the Hendrick's Gin Peculiar tent! Free samples of amazing cocktails, dressed up weirdos, and a supercool steam punk vibe! I hope it returns next year!
google avatar

Leslie K.

Yelp
Three stars for: 1) Something fun to do that nearly all my friends are interested in 2) 90% of the art is crap, but the stuff that is good is REALLY good 3) It happens on a holiday weekend when I actually have Saturdays off work Docked two stars for: 1) 900 degree weather, unrelenting with the pavement and all the crowds...couldn't the arts festival happen JUST ONCE on those occasional summer days that are in the 70s or even low 80s? 2) The most boring people watching on the planet. I really tried to find somebody interesting to look at while resting on a bench, and after 15 minutes realized the closest I was going to get were the artists themselves. ZZZZZZZ c'mon! And then I realized "Oh my god, what does that say about ME being here?" And although I don't count this in my rating, the art really is expensive, blatantly overpriced in many cases.
google avatar

Yelp
I've attended this event for the past 10-12 years and this year was definitely one of the better ones in my opinion. It was great to see a lot more creative, unique, jewelry/metal artists compared to past years. In addition there were several memorable ceramics artists that were doing innovative work I hadn't seen displayed before. Spanning multiple blocks in Cherry Creek North it's great they had several info stations at the intersections to help folks out. This year seemed to also have more alcohol stands and I especially enjoyed that in addition to the beer stands, you could also get wine & mojitos & margaritas. Great job Cherry Creek! P.S. Those with dogs ... it'd be better if the pups were left at home. The weather is hot and the venue is packed with people. Dogs underfoot is not a benefit to this event.

Yelp
This is an annual happening. It has really caught on and is Denver's big Fourth of July celebration. Lots of food from lots of vendors and plenty of Judged art to see and purchase. Nothing is cheap from the food to the art but it is plentiful. This is a great way to people watch and be part of a beautiful summer day in a beautiful neighborhood.
google avatar

Veronique C.

Yelp
Yes, it is usually hot and crowded, and the art is expensive, but what a great way to spend the day and look at a wide variety of art. Paintings, sculpture, metalwork, jewelry, photography there is always something unique. And unlike in a gallery, you can also talk to the artist, which is fun and interesting. Live music and nice selection of food for lunch. Free sunscreen and glasses of iced water (with a cherry) are provided and this is a really nice touch. To find parking without any problem, we always arrive no later than 10:30 , parking available at the mall or right outside on the South side of the mall(less parking available there on Saturdays because of the market). That way it's also less crowded and not as hot. And when it gets too hot, you can always step into the air-conditioned shops or have a drink/snack inside. After all, it's Cherry Creek, we might as well do a little shopping while in the area :) When my kids were little, I would get them interested and involved by having them create their own art for free, an entire section is dedicated to the children. I am glad to see that this is something the Festival still offers, because over the years there have been less and less performances. It's too bad since it used to really set the Cherry Creek Art Festival apart from other Art Festivals (although the quality of the art displayed is impressive and definitively worth the trip). I really miss the cooking classes that Chefs from various Denver restaurants used to offer, the artists demonstrations, and the various performing arts (dance, acrobatics etc.). Still, I always enjoy the Cherry Creek Art Festival.

Yelp
Had a great afternoon walking around with Claire S. today even with the heat. We met at one of the bike valets (free, but donation appreciated) and headed out. The artists that are present at this show are true talents at their craft. Everything from wood furniture, jewelry, painting, funny robots (freaking awesome too) and glass that looks like rocks. The only booth that had anything I thought I could possible duplicate myself were these metal hair twisties we saw. Everything else was fabulous. And we had free ice cream samples too. If you can get there this weekend I highly recommend it.

Yelp
This is one crowded festival. And parking is a nightmare so you are better off parking and riding (w/ bus or light rail). I spent a good hour slowly driving up the Cherry Creek Mall's parking garage, then slowly descending down to escape that traffic nightmare. Sometimes during the festival weekend in particular Denver's bi-polar atmosphere decides to rain, or even FLOOD down on us. It happened 2012 and I think, 2009. I like all of the art and people to see, plus the mall if you want. This is also one of the times you can enjoy an array of street food since Denver could use a bigger street food scene. Come for the experience and buy some art, or try to, because it costs those artists to even get a tent during this fest.

Yelp
This year was my first to experience the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Love it. Although the 100+ degree temps did make for rather harsh conditions-- I really enjoyed all the different talented artists showcasing their work. VLOG can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsuDRPjcdEw Although I did go back for a second day--I will allow more time next year as there is so much amazing sights to see.

Yelp
01JUL2017 Not going this year as the Mall now charges for parking. 03JUL2009 As an amateur consumer, I really enjoy the show. People who complain about the weather need to either move to San Diego or contact the weather gods and request an intervention. We always make a special day by having lunch (food and alcohol) with friends in a "better" restaurant. We go. We look. We enjoy. We eat. And, most times we buy something that we enjoy. It is "serious" art? No, it is art that hopefully will sell. That is the whole point. For artists to make some money.

Yelp
Great way to spend a relaxing couple of hours in July. A great neighborhood. A friendly vibe. I was struck by the truly national nature of the festival. While there are Colorado artists, there are more from elsewhere (Florida, SC, Georgia, Texas, New Mexico...). Also struck by the upscale nature of the event. Some very talented people, many with price points in the thousands of dollars. Bring your credit card! Or perhaps leave your credit card at home. You decide. Regardless, you'll enjoy the day.

Yelp
I only got to see the last half an hour of this fine festival and all I can really say is that I'm annoyed I won't be here next year (-- cue for sad face --) It's pretty sweet and ideal if you want to wonder around and judge stuff- yea some of the artsy stuff is questionable but the overall experience of countless booths is impressive and well... fun to wonder around in, and there are plenty of activities even for the little ones. Why not five stars? Well it was boiling hot at 5.30pm and that's no fun when you're browsing. Plus there was a serious lack of samples- although this is probably my own silly fault for getting there late. Add to this the rude volunteer who turned us away from the wine festival I was not impressed. These are minor though- if you really just enjoy meandering about then this festival offers just that.

Yelp
Had a good time when Sis and I drove in for the festival. Yes, it was blistering hot, and everything to drink is too expensive, but hey, we walked to the nearby Cherry Creek Mall and got something to drink. Nothing says you have to stay at the festival for goodness sakes. There were some fun culinary demos, and it was a hoot trying to get into some of the arty businesses in the area. The crowd was too much, but it was fun to cruise through the booths. I was in the mood to buy, but didn't because frankly the prices at every booth were outrageous. To demostrate, went later to Boulder, which is not the cheapest place to find chotzkies and found hand made pottery for a lot less. Overall I would go again, but forgt about buying anything unless you love spending money.

Yelp
This is fun way to stroll around on a hot summer day. It's a great place to take in some art. Now, I defiantly do not have the money to purchase anything, but it's fun to browse, dream, and chat it up with the artists. After reading reviews, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! It seems most people come here for the same reasons I do, people and art watching. The food and drink vendors throughout the festival are very good and there are also great restaurants surrounding. I enjoy taking out of town guests if they are in town this weekend. They always enjoy it. My one friend was so envious because where they live they have nothing that even comes close to this. It does get crowded and at times that makes it difficult to look at the displays.

Yelp
Free entry to walk around, eat from the local vendors and people/pup watch. Free is good! Food is expensive. Expensive is bad.

Yelp
Being new to Colorado created this uncontrollable urge to go to all the fairs and this fair has to be the best one that I've attended. It's about 3 avenues of artists, advertising and food. I liked it because it was a large fair but not overly crowded with no hoodlums. Yes, I lived in a gated community most of my life. I've been a victim of crime twice, which were outside of the gates. (sorry..i think the heat is getting to me :) ps. I brought the chooch and he was loving life!

Yelp
This was our second year...and for some reason, it seemed like a repeat of last year....only not as good. Like a movie sequel. Bummer. We enjoyed the cultural events tent....they had Japanese singers. They handed out song sheets for a sing along. In Japanese. Not phonetic Japanese. Japanese. Kind of cute. I do not think we will go next year. The people watching was epic....more interesting than the art even ! Sorry Cherry Creek....we are over your festival.

Yelp
Amazing how time flys by and you sit around one weekend and think about what there is to do. Then we say, oh, we can go to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival! For something that has been around for so long and seems like a big deal, I find this festival to be very low key. Parking is easy and convenient with the Cherry Creek mall and walking is not hard at all. In years past, this place can get scorching hot, but today it was a nice cloudy and rainy day. Even though we got caught in the rain I think it very much added to the experience. One couple decided to dance in the rain in the middle of the street. As far as the art goes, I only look and can't afford. But I really do enjoy seeing something I have never seen before. Something about that is very stimulating to my brain and I feel refreshed afterwards. However, the most important reason I go to these festivals is the fact that I am always getting free stuff. Today I got free dog food, a free cooler, a bunch of protein bars, cat food, etc. Bentley was also appreciative as there were dog biscuits being handed out by local businesses. Actually, he really was not, he was more entitled and a total pig, pulling me all over the place getting stranger loving and free food. But I suppose that is beside the point. Point is you can bring your dog too.

Yelp
Great arts festival to admire good quality art! Since I have no money to buy any art I really don't care if they selected artists selling very expensive works. As long as they keep bringing a nice mix of artists this event will be a success in my eyes. First time here and it didn't seem crowded and hectic to me. Maybe it was the hot weather or the crazy amount of construction ongoing at Cherry Creek but either way I enjoyed being able to easily stroll among the different booths without bumping into people.

Yelp
I have gone to allot of fairs. This is clearly the best one. I really like their t shirts. I buy one every year. You can walk around with a beer, unlike other fairs that keep you in a contained area. It used to be even better, with really cool shows like people dancing on a wall. The music today is still very good. The art is really nice (not like the crap other fairs have) but too expensive.

Yelp
Summer in Denver is amazing. This festival is full of amazing artists, most whom you can speak to directly. The art ranges from painting to sculptures to jewlery. There is a street lined with food vendors and at each corner there are areas for drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Kids and adults for the area and equally have fun. Art prices are well below gallery as you are dealing direct with the artist. Come and enjoy!

Yelp
Have gone for a couple of years and they've all been good. This year was no exception. The art was diverse and plenty of it. Quite a few really good bands. Really like Oppie Gone Bad (sp?). I look forward to going for years to come.
