The service, food, cocktails, and atmosphere were amazing. Portions are perfect. Don’t skip this restaurant! Make sure to get a reservation.

Wait staff (Natoya and Paul) were excellent! The combination platter with half portions of Brisket and Ribs was delicious. The Four Cheese Mac kinda stole the show though. And that's saying a lot when there's brisket on the plate. The cornbread was not good. Sub it if you can. Same for the Chicken. Too dry and lacking seasoning. The BBQ Nachos with Pulled Pork were great! The kids got the Pulled Pork sandwiches and Cheeseburgers with Fries and loved it. Gorgeous location right off the golf course. We sat inside, but in hindsight would have loved to sit outside. Lots of little gators in the pond!

Restaurant looks very fancy when you walk in. However, ambiance is really laid-back.
Food: We ordered burgers and ribs. abundance food, we ordered half rack of ribs, and that was more than enough. Burger was also big.
Service: Everyone from the hoat to the waitress was auper attentive.
Price: just average
Overall, it's not a bad place to go and try.

Just picked up food to take home and didn’t have anything except the Mac and cheese and cornbread but wow! Both were absolutely amazing! The cornbread was so sweet, soft, & buttery & the Mac was indescribable! You definitely have to try it. Truly delicious and would definitely have it again!! 😋

This place is beautiful with a fireplace - lovely for a drink. The food is not as good unfortunately. Nothing on the menu notes that EVERYTHING has hot peppers in it including the potato salad. Sadly, the turkey and pulled pork meat was delicious so I know someone can cook in the kitchen. The corn bread was supposed to come with honey butter and we were offered butter and honey separately but it was good and not spicy too. The lobster hush puppies were light and delicious without spicy peppers too. The rest had hot peppers with no warning - even the mustard based BBQ sauce. It's a shame the chef had such a heavy hand and no control over the hot peppers in the food. The price was high for food when we couldn't eat half - very disappointing and won't be back.

We simply had great meals. The scallops were particularly good. The brisket a little too fatty for my taste but some would enjoy. Our party of 7 had a great experience. Our server, Charles, was excellent. Friendly, efficient and attentive. We enjoyed meeting him.

I enjoy visiting BBQ sites to compare the fare to my own. Visited Lewis in Charleston, as I always do when in town, and all of the meats were fantastic - per usual. I have eaten at Cherrywood multiple times. It is not Lewis, but in general the BBQ has been reasonable.
However, not the case tonight. The ribs were inedible. Dry, shrunken. No self respecting pit master or even a restaurant line cook should have served them. If the waitress was not so nice I would have sent them back. The ribs should have never been served. The rest of the food was ok, but the ribs ruined the meal for me.
