My family has been coming here for many years. It’s hard to name something that isn’t fantastic about the Chesterman Beach B&B. Todd is a fantastic host, ready with info about Tofino and always happy to help out his guests. The property is right on the beach, you walk right out onto one of (if not the) most beautiful beaches in Canada. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Todd is an exceptional host as his sole priority is the comfort of his guests. Knowing we were celebrating our engagement he went out of his way to get us a bottle of sparkling wine which we drank under the night sky on the Chesterman beach, this experience has for ever etched a memory in our hearts. To describe this location as a luxury is an understatement, you can't beat having this beach literally steps away from the comfort of your stay. Well done Todd.

Charming, well-appointed rooms with a fantastic location on the beach. Todd is not only knowledgeable about the area (restaurants, history, etc.) he’s also incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend.

We have been vacationing on Chesterman Beach for the past 30 years. We have rented many Vrbo cabins, condo’s, but Ocean Breeze is now our only go to rental The ocean breeze suite is welcoming & extremely clean. Steps from the ocean. Todd is the best Host and he has great advice on restaurants, kayaking , hiking trails. 5 STAR SAYS IT ALL!

I have had the pleasure of staying at Chesterman Beach Bed and Breakfast several times. Accommodations are nestled amongst large conifers; the ocean is footsteps away. The accommodations are well appointed with all of the amenities (great coffee😉). Amazing sleeps on the comfortable beds; accompanied by the sound of the breaking ocean waves. Todd and Lynda are gracious hosts. We cherish the time we spend at this venue and always look forward to a return visit.

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Cottage in June 2024. This location cannot be beat in a quiet neighbourhood, on the beautiful Chesterman Beach, along with the quality of amenities and service from our host Todd. He gave us just the right amount of attention and was very responsive to all inquiries. Many thoughtful touches that normally are not provided by private hospitality await your visit - robes, coffee and teas, high quality beds, and well-appointed kitchen with all the small appliances you would need. We rented bikes and rode all over this area and would highly recommend as this location lends itself to being near but not IN the busy tourist areas and amenities. LOVED our time in this cozy Garden Cottage and look forward to booking again!

YES. That's my answer if you would ask "Should I book this place?". It's a perfect spot. There are two houses. One is right by the beach and the other one is close to beach. We were at that one right by the beach and it's awesome. The upper floor belongs to owners (but they don't live there) and the lower one is all yours. And the owners are cool and very friendly and nice. There are entrance hall, two bedrooms, living room (including dining room), kitchen, bathroom (bathtub and shower corner), sun room, terrace and all of these are pretty big. And the beach is approximately 15 meters away, just walk through garden and you are there. Everything is fully equipped and furnished. No TV. Perfect. Beach is big, clean and ideal for surfers rookies. Price reflects awesomeness of this place. And you are in the centre of Tofino in 5 minutes by car.

I'm tempted to leave this review at 5 stars and not bother to say anything else. But just in case you need to know more... This was the first bed and breakfast in Tofino. It just so happens that my parents and I were the first guests of the current owners (the charming Todd and Lynda) after they took over in 2003. I cannot overstate how great Todd and Lynda are, and what a great job they do to make this place feel like home. We always rent the self-catering Garden Cottage, so I can't vouch for the breakfasts, but something tells me they're scrumptious. The cottage doesn't have a view of the ocean, but you're 30 seconds away, and the two suites in the main B&B building certainly do - and stunning ones at that. Plus, you're on Chesterman Beach, by far my favourite beach on the Pacific Rim, after 2 decades escaping out there whenever I can. I quite simply cannot imagine staying anywhere else.

My husband and I stayed at the Overlook room in this wondeful B&B. When we arrived we were welcomed by Todd, one of the owners, who showed us our room and the beach. I felt welcome and happy to arrive after a long drive. The room we stayed in has a great view of the beach and was very nice inside. The room had a fire heater with a nice bed and a table near the window where we ate breakfast I look forward to returning here again because the the nice room, the great view and the excellent service from Todd and Lynda.

We biked to across Vancouver Island to Tofino and stayed at Chesterman B&B (Ocean Breeze); definitely could not have picked a better place to stay! Todd and Lynda are incredible hosts and their properties, each very unique unto themselves, are all beautiful. We won't even consider looking for another place to stay when we plan our next trip!!
