Beautiful beach. We came for sunset because we were told it sinks just over the water but it was behind a house. So not as great as I hope BUT still beautiful. The waves were nice to watch roll in and the surfers made it even better to water.

Great Beach and rare Prime Minister sighting....I was walking down the Beach with my family when Justin Trudeau runs by us with two RCMP guys trailing. Kind of a cool experience. I wish MR Trudeau would have at least said Hello back to me when I said Hello to him.
Beautiful Beach in Tofino. Easy access to the Beach via Lynn Rd

I loved walking the beach and the toadstools on the way from the car. Absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to return!

Tofino is 💎 of BC, this beach ⛱️ is wonderful. So much to do: surf 🏄♀️, bike 🚴♂️ or literally walk. Watch sunset or sunrises, so much sea life to see 👀
Must visit if in Tofino. Easy access and parking are available at specific spots.

love this beach, dogs had a blast. Easy to walk on when tide is out. can walk forever it seems. Surfers paradise. Even when busy, you are easily by yourself. Dogs are supposed to be on leash but there's always 1 person or 3....

It is a very special place on this planet.
Try to walk over to the edge of the ocean along the rocks. While being mindful of the sharp volcanic rock, you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Pacific Ocean rolling its waves right before your eyes.

Beautiful Beach! Definitely worth the stop! One of our favourites that we visited ! Washrooms are quite dated and $3.75 for 1 hr parking and park is a shame! The parking lot was small and perhaps paid parking helps rotate the visitors so everyone can enjoy!

Yelp
Stopped in for a break in the day while we were traveling from Tofino to Ucluelet back to our lodge where we were staying. Despite it being a cold day, it was packed with surfers ready to hit the waves. Thankfully, we claimed what I think was probably the last parking spot within walking distance. I needed to use the restroom, so I hit that first. Only one or two were in operation, sadly but at least they had them. There were also changing rooms available so that was nice for the surfers who were changing.
The beach itself is cool. It butts up right against forest, so there were tons of old downed, sand-beaten trees that sculpted a beautiful backdrop for the mellow ocean waves. The beach itself was very clean & the walk was quite nice and serene.
This beach is a nice little hidden (or maybe not-so-hidden treasure to find) and I welcome a return visit if we ever visited this area again.

Yelp
Chesterman Beach was a nice stop for an evening walk. There were plenty of fire pits going with groups sitting around them on the driftwood. We saw a few people surfing as the sun was setting. It's perfect for an easy, long walk.
It's a quick drive south of Tofino and we found it easy to park with a very short walk from the parking lot to the beach. There are restrooms near the parking lot as well.
Overall, a great beach.

Yelp
Chesterman Beach is perfect for those who don't want to hike 10-15 minutes through the forest to the beach. Park your car at the parking lot and voila, you're at the beach. Very popular with people of all ages. The only downside is the amount of people who use this popular beach. The sand tends to be rough and uneven. I recommend wearing boots.

Yelp
An absolutely beautiful beach just south of Tofino and north of Pacific Rim National Park. There are a few small parking areas in this general area (or it's an easy bike or walk from a number of the nearby resorts). When the tide is right you can walk out to Frank Island (do note that some of the areas are not public, at least when I was last there).
Clean sandy beaches, waves, and gorgeous scenery. One of the best beaches in the area.

Yelp
One of my favourite beaches in the world, Chesterman is a great place to get away from it all, especially during the spring or fall. Chesterman tends to be less busy than Long Beach, which is a big plus.
Chesterman is an expansive beach with some rock climbing (go left), surfing, campfiring, and just plain romantic walking. There is even a random island (Frank Island, IIRC) that you can walk to when the tide is out.

Yelp
Beautiful beach. Dog-friendly. Great for a long walk. Parking is great - park, walk 50 metres and you're on the beach. Definitely come here.
