I adore this store! They have an amazing selection all year round and I especially love finding unique Holiday decor like my disco ball tree topper!

Great place to find gifts for people who have everything! Stationary is my weakness, ended up spending too much money on Notebooks and Pencils. But who can turn down Zodiac Pencils irl. Old School Swear Words has a pencil that reads Darn it to Heck! Breaking them apart and giving as X-mas gifts along with personalized notebooks. I recommend you use the buddy system so someone can pull you away. It didn't work for me but it's worth a shot.

I have always loved this place, and private shopping appointments have only made me love it more! These folks are doing so much work to let just a few people into the store at a time and make it a safe, enjoyable shopping experience. You’ll find a great selection of greeting cards and other stationery, home/bar/kitchen decor and supplies, a big section full of men’s grooming products, and so much more. Patronize this store so they can stay open forever!

I love this shop! Today was my first time going and I have to say, I would recommend it to others. I gave it four stars because on the prices that were on the products. I went inside because I would like to buy my family gifts that live in another state. This store had everything I needed. I just didn't wanna pay that price. When you think about buying gifts for a group of people those prices add up. I will definitely go back and definitely recommend this store to others.

I love this place! Need a thoughtful gift or a treat for yourself, stop by this store. I walked out thinking I absolutely needed half of the store. Pencils? I don’t really need them, but now I have this desire to own cool pencils. Looking for retro bar supplies? This is your place. I could go on and on. The employee in the store thanked me for coming in and asked if she could be helpful to let her know and then let me enjoy the store, no pressure during my time there. A must-see while you are in Durham!

I've found numerous wonderful items to decorate and entertain with -- and this is definitely my one-stop-shop for gifts. The customer service is fantastic. I've never had a bad experience here! I highly recommend!

Yelp
I love this store in Durham near the Museum Hotel. They are stocked with the coolest gift items and cards and fun trinkets plus a few pieces of fun furniture. It's the smaller version of Parker and Otis. The sales lady is very nice and helpful. I found a graduation card for my son and a Mother's Day card for my Godmother. Total score!!

Yelp
This place is cute. Very well curated and fun to browse in. They have a lot of men's grooming products, as well as a whole wall of accessories for your bar cart. The whole place is very instagramable. If you're walking around downtown anyway, definitely worth stopping in. I have never actually purchased anything here because it's not very practical and very expensive.

Yelp
Always able to find great, high quality finds here! My go to stop for unique gifts. Prices vary a lot, many things in $10-30 range and many other high end picks! Inventory changes frequently, definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
It's Parker & Otis without the Parker, or maybe it's the Otis?! It a shop full of fancy gifts lacking the food and coffee option and it goes by Chet Miller. Who is this Chet Miller? Apparently, it's the name of an owner's grandfather, but man, did he have great taste! If you LOVE graphically and visually appealing things, this shop is for you. And why do I mention Parker & Otis? Because they're running it and giving you curated gifts, decor and artifacts. The shop has officially been open for one week and one day (opening on Tuesday, October 27th), customer service is friendly and while the shop is not as large as Parker & Otis, the smaller space is chalk full but in an organized and visually attractive way. With featured collections from Veuve Cliquo, Izola, Collard Greens, Vietri, Rifle Paper Co. and more! They have everything from kitchen settings and stemware to greeting cards, recipe books, drink mixers and other non-perishable goods. Durham was in desperate need for a shop like this, it's Deco of Raleigh meets a Bull, but still with that "I'm a guest at The Durham Hotel" price tag. Overall, it's a great addition to downtown.

Yelp
This eclectic gift shop is part modern giftware and funky antiques. Vintage coolers, old globes, clocks and glassware are used as displays but are also for sale. I wasn't surprised to discover the owners also own Parker & Otis, another one of my favorite places in Durham!

Yelp
what a cute little store. I say little but it's actually quite large. Has many unique durham trinkets and gifts. It is smartly decorated and set up for the shopper. I wish I had found it sooner! It really has everything you need if you are looking for "Durm" or NC gear. has many man-gifts too including beard/mustache grooming kits and goods. The only one downside is that it is a bit on the pricey side. They offer everything from stationary, bar ware, home decor, etc. a very well rounded store - if you're shopping for a gift, you'll definitely find something for everyone here!

Yelp
This is a delightful gift shop with great items for anyone on your list (including you!). We have been trying to go for a while, but the limited hours got in the way. We finally made it in on a Saturday and will definitely be going back. The store is stocked with clever and unique items that helped us find gifts for hard-to-buy-for friends!

Yelp
One thing I think downtown Durham needs is more shopping options. There's plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or a drink. Soon there will be an overwhelming amount of hotels in close proximity. Chet Miller is going to be a huge asset to the downtown scene. It's Parker and Otis without the food. I can look around without dodging tables or talking over the restaurant chatter. Although I love Parker and Otis for its uniqueness, I appreciate the calm, peaceful nature of Chet Miller. I love looking at all the trinkets and smelling the soaps. It's a place you wander into and explore, not planning to buy something at first, until you discover that perfect birthday/Christmas gift or that intricately decorated notebook you can't seem to take your eye off of. It's just a fun place to walk around!

Yelp
Stopped by the store while walking my dog. The person working had their dog in the store as well, & I could barely get through the door before their dog came running and sliding across the store towards me and my dog. My dog is perfectly friendly, but does not like it when she feels cornered. I couldn't even walk into the store since the employees dog was jumping on me and my dog. My dog does not like being jumped on or jumped and growled to tell the dog to stop jumping on her. She didn't not touch, bite, or do anything physical. She was vocal to tell the ow red dog to stop being physical with her. The employee, instead of putting her dog on a leash and letting me shop, the employee asked if I could come back later. Um, absolutely not. There is a ton of construction going on around the store, so the store is incredibly loud and a huge pain to get to. Construction is also blocking all the parking and streets surrounding the store, so I definitely wasn't coming back. Maybe in the future, the employee will keep her dog on a leash or not bring it in instead of driving away customers. But I won't know because I won't be returning. Incredibly rude and poor service.
