Good points: food was having authentic chettinadu taste. All food prepared with no-ready to cook easy hack. So, good for health. There were bicycles available, and it was good. Security and some of the ground level staffs were good.
Services that need to be improved: My check-in time was 12 noon, but there was 42 minutes delay to get the room. Also, bullock cart ride is not readily available, pool is 1km away and it’s not part of premises, we have to walk & need to manage the key, there is no staff in pool area, you may face difficulties if you don’t know Tamil. The chapathi was having non-veg taste, seems like they cooked in same burner without cleaning. Room & toilet Cleanness and hygiene need to be improved a lot. Electric switches were horrible. Power failures were frequent, however power backup will be turned ON with a delay of 5 minutes.
Considering it’s a village area, overall it was okish for me. But lot of need to be improved considering the cost.
There is no one in reception from 6pm to 9AM. However, food will be served & those people won’t do anything related to room check-in or check-out facilities.
Note: This owner has 2 resorts, 1 is chettinadu court & other is chettinadu mansion. Both the resort’s data, phone number, image & location in online platforms are confusing. And you may easily get cheated, chettinadu mansion(photo attached) is the original & costlier than chettinadu court.
