Chetzeron Hotel & Restaurant

Dining at Chetzeron is as much about the setting as it is about the food. Perched high above Crans-Montana, the panoramic mountain views are absolutely breathtaking and set the tone for a special experience from the moment you arrive. The food is refined and thoughtfully presented, with a strong focus on quality ingredients and alpine-inspired flavors. Dishes are elegant and well-executed, showing creativity without being overly complicated. Some plates truly shine, while a few feel more restrained than expected for such a spectacular location. Service is professional and attentive, though at times a little formal, and the overall atmosphere is calm and sophisticated—perfect for a long, leisurely lunch or a special occasion. A fantastic place for the views, the ambiance, and solid cuisine. Not quite flawless, but still a wonderful experience that’s well worth the trip.

Location is obviously great, fondue was really good. Service at the table was good but the welcome team was not friendly at all. The manager had a huge argument with a ski instructor who was there with a couple. Regardless who was right or wrong, he was extremely rude, agressive and loud. At a supposedly 5 star hotel/restaurant, this is simply not acceptable.

The restaurant used to be amazing, but the only things left are the view and the high prices 😅 Worst service of my life, slow and rude. Food was served cold.

It hurts to write this review as the location is one of kind. However for a place of this caliber there are several things wrong with the service: 1) the hotel is not accessible by car - they emailed me but never got in touch with me, so we drove up 2 miles on a dirt road in a sedan and then waited 45 minutes until they finally came and picked us up, with minimal instructions on where to go 2) we asked for water to be refilled in our room four times starting in the morning and didn’t get this task accomplished until the evening 3) we went out to dinner in town with the understanding they would pick us up, we changed the time to an earlier pick up (9pm vs 10:30pm), understandably as schedules change and they tell us they can’t change the schedule because they have another party picking up at the same time??? Which was a dinner party not another guest. After some back and forth we finally get them to agree to an earlier time 9:45pm, and they leave us in the parking lot for 30 minutes and are late for the pick up. How can this be any level of service expected of a “4 star hotel”? In summary, don’t expect any type of warm greetings or accommodating service from the hotel, location is good everything else needs work if they expect live up to the expectations of the property

We went to eat at the restaurant yesterday. We were a group of seven people, including one with reduced mobility. The food was delicious and we ate very well. The only negative point is that when you spend CHF 700 on a meal, you still have to pay CHF 50 for a car to take you back up to the ski lift, with one person with reduced mobility... that left us feeling a bit disappointed.

A great place to take a break and connect with nature. People at the hotel are very nice and helpful. The food is delicious. I wish the sauna/ hamam was open in the morning already.

Fantastic location and architecture; big clean and authentic rooms; great food with bbq on the terasse; friendly & helpful staff; amazing pool & jacuzzi one thing to improve is making the hotel bar a place to be as this is the most spectacular room of the house

Chetzeron is, without a doubt, one of the most special places in the world. We had gotten to know Chetzeron well over the years (hiking there for lunch, or coming up for dinner) and recently had our wedding there. It was an absolute dream — the location, hotel rooms, wine, food, service, and hospitality are all unmatched. There is nowhere else in the world like it. Sami and his team show what true hospitality is, truly taking care of each guest as if they were family. During the entire planning process, he took such good care of us, ensuring that every single detail was accounted for; making thoughtful adjustments to the menu to align with dietary restrictions and preferences; and overall just ensuring that it would be the greatest day of our lives – which it was! It was also SO special to have privatized the entire hotel for two nights, filling the 18 rooms with all of our best friends. We are still dreaming of the breakfast al fresco (best hotel breakfast we've ever had), lounging by the pool, getting post-hike massages, and more. And then for the wedding itself. It was truly unlike anything we (or our guests!) had ever experienced or will ever experience again. The ceremony overlooking the valley was spectacular, cocktail hour outside was a dream, and the dinner was absolutely delicious.
